chainsaw replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearThanks for sharing that Pete. It's nice to have you back more frequently the way. I think a little experimentation never hurt anyone but when it turns into full fledged addiction it can be very destructive. I personally think I'm very lucky to not have an addictive personality, other than ho'ing golf clubs but that's a different story alltogether. I have friends that still struggle with the white horse to this day, yeah they're succesful, but you can't help but wonder where they'd be without the monkey on their back.

Dear DoubleAA
chainsaw replied to slicktry's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearI'm just messing with you about the canadian source. You are correct, he can really jack it up if he plays. They were saying today the injury is similar to what happened to Grant Hill and anybody that follows hoops knows he was done after the injury.

Dear DoubleAA
chainsaw replied to slicktry's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearYou're basing you information on canadian reporting!? T.O. is going to play. There's no way he's going to help though. Tell me who the Eagles have beaten and then look at who New England beat. No comparison.

x tours....for sale or not for sale
i don't know why but these things have got me foaming at the mouth. :surprize: :money: I tried a set of X-18 ps and wasn't overly impressed but these things have gotten me excited. Can somebody that hit them at the demo day please chime in and tell me they're not that great, PLEASE!!! I'm seriously considering dumping my z-101's and pinching pennies to buy a set when they hit the market. Also, does anyone know what the lofts are gonna be? Roided out or a more standard set up?

Dear DoubleAA
chainsaw replied to slicktry's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearGotta agree with you on that on. Even with the unbelieveable east coast bias that exists, I don't think the Pats receive the credit they deserve.

510 TP 10.5 trade for 9.5?
R510 TP 10.5 NV 75 Proto Stiff shaft (Green) 44.25. Club is in great shape. 10.5 is just too much loft for me but this club will be a rocket launcher for someone it fits better. Anyone have a 9.5 TP they'd be willing to trade?

chainsaw replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearI've served my self imposed banishment and even came down with a really bad stomach flu yesterday which caused me to lose 12 pounds in a 24 hour period so whomever threw the curse my way thanks :) Is it possible to suspend your own paypal account? I gotta quit :money: I think I'm set for next year though, my 60 deg tsc just arrived in the mail and with the addition of the Six in my 510 I think I'll be a happy golfer. Anybody wanna buy some scratch wedges really cheap shoot me a PM

chainsaw replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearI'm gonna get grilled for this one but the camera got left in my friends room, no pics  I let him borrow it for CES and he didn't bring it when we met up later. I can relay many mental images but I doubt they'd do you guys any good. 3 inches of snow on Friday so I can now relate with the rest of the country. There was an avalanche at Mt. Charleston yesterday, middle of the friggin desert, go figure.

chainsaw replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearAllright boys, I'm armed with a camera and I'm headed to the Venitian tonight, which just happens to be connected to the Sands Convention center. There is this little function going on called the AVN Awards this weekend. What that means is there are going to be a TON of professional movie actresses aka PORN STARS running around the hotel. Now I know all of you guys are upstanding moral citizens who have no idea of what pornography is but I'll try to take some pics to post just in case..... :spit:

General BS Thread
chainsaw replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearBoy I tell you, somebody has a wicked sense of humor. The weather could not be worse right now. I actually have a few days where I can play and it's pouring out and in low 40's. :-) Joe K. and I had a great time playing on Sunday. We went out and played The Lexington course at Revere, 7,260 from the tips 134 slope and 73.6 course rating. It was a booger! I hit a few balls on the range with his TM combos/ TC shafts. They are smoooooth! I also had a few whacks with his Burner 420, seriously underrated club, long and hot! I crushed the 10.5 TP so I think that'll stay in the bag for some time. Just need a shaft upgrade :money: Joe kicked my butt though. He got me by one on the front and I quit keeping my score on about 14 due to my low GAFF. A couple of triples lowered it rather quickly. That's about all from Vegas boys, hope the weather is better where you are. It's supposed to rain ALL F-ING WEEK :wah:

artests appeal
chainsaw replied to Sgt_Slaughter's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearI wish I could say if the appeal is reduced I won't watch NBA basketball anymore but since that's already happened it would be a hollow threat. The NBA is nothing but a bunch of overpaid idiots running around the country making NBA fun babies. The game sucks, the players suck, who cares. I can honestly say professional athletics in the USA are in serious danger of collapse.

chainsaw replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearYou're truly a sick man Shoe :) Seek help right now! Especially since you're more than likely under two feet of snow. I, on the other hand, have only bought two wedges and a driver head in the last few days, so my addiction is perfectly under control. I even passed on a new shaft and everything. It's only gonna be 50 this weekend so I'll probably pass on a round plus my grandma is in town but next weekend is gonna be in the 60's. Look out 79 here I come. I've got to break 80 once before the year is over.

General BS Thread
chainsaw replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearThe wedge is looking kinda :) If being in two pieces is a good thing, I'm sittin' pretty. The irons were on fiiiiiyah. I don't know why people were finding them to be short. The yardages were spot on for me. The long irons are fine now. My hips were clearing a little early. I was going after them a bit too hard and pressing I think. What should I ask for on my b-day? I want a new driver but that wouldn't fly, too many in and out of the bag so Kristin doesn't want to contribute to my ho'in. Suggestions appreciated.

General BS Thread
chainsaw replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearI actually played this weekend and impressed myself with a 39 on the front but a disappointing 43 on the back. It had to be the Z's! I didn't have any problem whatsoever losing the long irons right. I didn't make a f-ing putt all day though. We're having a hell of a storm here. It rained like a mofo all day yesterday and snowed in the mountains. Mount Charleston which is the highest peak around here got 2 feet of snow yesterday. Hope everybody has a great thanksgiving and eats tons of Turducken.

chainsaw replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearI'll go ahead and check in as well. I too am loving the Z's  Like Andy I've been working my a** off. I think everything is gonna slow down in the next few weeks. It's a smooth 65 in Vegas today and I'm thinking of heading to the range tonight. I'll be down on the strip so I might go check out Callaway. On an equipment note, just saw the new Wilsons in this month's Golf Mag and I must say I'm pretty impressed. I doubt they'll make an appearance in my bag but it's nice to see them back on the scene.
