ryoma VS syard You cant get any more opposite than these two designs right ? ryoma is all about weight i n the back syard is all in the face so which is " better" ? well on sunday i thought id put that to the test i took my ryoma d1 diamana X............ syard .388 waccine 88...........crayz 435 stinger out for a lets see which is the one im going to bag till the comps end in nov. i thinki musta hit 41,897 drives with each driver you know what i found out? the jbeam crazy stinger tended to be a bit more consistantly longer , it wandered a tiny bit right but i was pretty much always where i hoped to be in distance. i wasnt going man i got all of that ,what the fk is that it.. nope it was spot on for me the ryoma was def shorter by ,hmmmmmmm id think 10 -15 yards on the crazy. but not ONCE did that thing go left. any miss**t was playable from the rough, and the good ones went rolling a mile. it was the go to driver for the shorter holes , or the tricky driving holes without even thinking about it , i just reached for that one. its defiantly my insurance driver the syard is a cannon. no doubt about it , its a massively long when connected well, the longest of them all on one shot and EASILY the best feel of these drivers by a mile, it can go right if i dont really step into the drive and give it the ful monty, and it HATES to be choked down on. i mean it hates it, give it full extention tho and its out there man!!!!! when it was windy or high eleveation i went for this beceasue its utter gunbarrel straigh and LOW! the misses were tiny pulls, def not draws, and that happened when i choked down. so what does this all mean ?? well.. they are ALL sensational drivers. and none are better than the other. and no reason for me to look at antyhing else. theres NO WAY anything else is going to be better than these. what idid learn is from the tips ill play the crazy from the whites ill bag the ryoma and when the weather is shiiiite y ill bag the syard damn......... i was really hoping for a definitive "the one" nope no siree. all of these are irreplacable depending on the day. makes the champs a hard one to decide upon . bec the days will vary. if uve got one of these in yr arsenal already , then dont sweat if for something else unless u want a differnt shape bec theres fk all distance gains/losses and the th smal lloss with ryoma is MORE than made up for with its unnerving accuracy. think i might just get this a new stinger shaft!

i am yes. but ive also got replications of these. i kept another s-yard 3 wood with diamanaB 70x an s-yard 5w with stinger as mentioned. and ive got the crazy f series in f14-16-19- 22 cpl of egg spoons shafted with various tour shafts. which wil ldo me til the cows come home. these are waht ive got spare. right now im not mucking around witn anything till next year , after the comp season. so thought it a god time to give me some breathing space

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm yea that a tough one bec its not ideal from the deck (2i) i think ud prob use the 3 a lot more bec like anything DIesque.... from the edeck just the slightes miss**t and its curtains. that why the 3 is the perfect option for an all rounder.

u betcha it is. has been part of my persona since it came out i had this shafted with a stinger and oh boy was that heck of a club. just decided to give that a whirl in the syard for a bit more height ,whcih is what i got. not as long but suited my course better
  19. thanks. thats about what i am these days. if i tip it an inch it shud make it a lighter lower X in my mind. think ill give that a go
  20. ive got a yamaha V4.6, still think this is the mack daddy of all yamaha heads regardless of its age. and ive got a diamana fubuki alpha that looks to be about 75 meters long, it was pulled from an egg7 seriously its massive iwanna put these together bec. well frnaky thsi set up is as good as anythng gets. i was plumbing for a heaver shaft but i might just tyr lighter/ tighter for a go if i tip this 1 inch what do you think will hapen to its properties. i tend to stay away for mtippiing as a generla rule but well 65 grams is too light nad flicky for me i think a tighter tipped one cud be real good thoughts??

the modus shaft is a heck of a lot more stiuff nadl ow than the vizerd shaft. defiantly recomended for ahrder hitters. the vizard is excelent ,but then u hit the steel u realsie the differnce. i had the 2 iron going about 225, that has the NS 950 s in ti actually. the 3 about 210 and the 4 just over 200 plus or minus a few yards.., the 4 is just too long for a par 3 under 200 and not quite enough for a 205 with small wind into you , itll get on but front edge max. the 3 can be too long if i really get it and the2 is just superb off the tees to take any obstacle out of play. short par 4s like sub 400 i hit this all yesterday and didnt mis a fairway with it 2 iron then 9 iron to 380 with bunkers everywhere or when i played off the white tees i hit this on about 8 holes. straight darn the tubes! just an all round superb stick feel is amazing, and it looks like it meant for business. theres NO offset , its just a big iron. seriosuly loving it loving it as i sad hardest part is to know which one to use

yup i rebuilt a 6 iron on firiday to test out, with the SP blue stiff in those callaway tour somehting or others, heads made for ernie..., it was 446 gram as opposed to my monacco in the prgr idbl which was 438 i think... thats a pretty big differnce. equal heaviest set i have anyway hit the first shot with it form 191 to 3 feet. rang my builder and said buildthese immediatly im using them for the champs!!! id say use those shafts in endo forged cavity backs and they are unreal.
