tied the LS noir, didnt get along with its balance, but gotta say what an amazing feeling shaft! was thinking of maybe....... trying the sigma again. really liked that shaft got a diamana ali islei going in a kasco DNA today. think i might buld that yamaha v4.6 with a fubuki.
  4. most fariways are cut "semi "short , theres very little roll on most. divots are ( in summer) massive. thats why i gotta build all carry drivers for a lot of tracks. the rough is normally pretyt high, and hte qulity of the courses are without exception stunning, theres amlost no such thing as a muni. theres a cpl but they are very rare. golf cost a bomb as a rule. and memberships are rediculously expensive. but , well you cud always stay in tokyo in 40* 90% humidity for summer..... bec thats a lot of fun!

driver. i think the diamana fubuki has tendencies not to fade. just wondering if thers anything esle if at all ??
  6. definatly not what the equivalent "normal": sizing sugests , correct.
  7. what is there??
  8. yes but option to spike which ive not done.
  9. fantastic shoes esp back home with the harder grounds , playing every day is much easier with them
  10. I had to single this out as incredible service from a shoe company duca del cosma not everyones flavour , but i swear blind these shoes for golf are first class if u like flat shoes , no heels. well i they tend to run a litte large. either the markings on them arent to spec in asia , i dunno but they are always 1/2 -1 size to big. anyway i got a pair for a pressy, that were listed as my szie. only to find they wernt the inet shop that sold them to us , wudnt take them back bec they are in fact listed as what we ordered. ARRRRRRRRRRRRSESHOLES .i just asked to swap those shoes for..... ANY .......other shoe in my size, they wudnt so line out for them for all of JP guys .. eneded up ringing , out of the blue duca in germany. spoke to somene that just picked the phobr up, ended u pbeing hte sales amnager, told him, my story hesaid. no probs send them back to me. ill send u a pair in yr size. choose form the stock on website. hope they fit. u pay shipping that ok? are uk idding , thasts awsome, idiot tokyo store wudnt do it. had to go to head office absolutely love when a co stands behind its product, even tho he cudda just said unlucky return them to the store nop he handeled it personally . ill be buying more from him as the years go by SOLEY beceasue of this top notch DUCA DEL COSMA
  11. they are really smoothe easy to hit proto shats, cant beelvie the pros play these, they are almost too easy. ive got 2 sets , one in prgr , and one is set in a set of blades. in wind ,i dont think they are much chop COMPARED to others for ME. but in winter they are fantastic!
  12. hmmmmmmmmmm not really , they are tighter thant he 950s and smoothe than th1050, the 2f15s are very close to the 1050 , they are very tight and veyr stiff, they are long and they just arc. ST i i think are a non windy shaft, especially as u say, in the scoring irons , well not exactly balloon, but they go monster high. and are short. im always 1/2 club wrong with the 8-9-pw bc they moon itbut boy do they land soft.
  13. i dont think they are out yet!
  14. yea im playing the ST now and htey are going extremely well, nice and tight, veyr tight really, although just a little light and high my faves are still the 2g18s ( modus 130 ) i c jsut cant fault them for my swing.. its them or the ORA, prob the 2g18s bec they are a little lower andflatter. i like that mid kick feel as well. played the ctaper protos on sunday for punch shots they are peerless, prgr tr500 and ctaper stiff protos, game -set-match for links

x-01 mild. just an al lround wonderfull ball. not hte longest. not the spinniest, but soft and around , and on the greens i think they are the best.
  16. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh as a consuamte illustrator................... i think these are very similar in flight ( by the looks of things on the graph ) to the SP orange and ORA. low take off, then high flighted piercing flight and prob drop dead at apex to a spot. these look ideantical to the ORAs by this graph. and those are one hell of a set of shafts if u got mid or HIGH cog heads. low cog,. i dont hink these will suit at all. oh blades spring to mind..!!!

  18. yea carry distance isnt really as big as ud think . its height and run out that makes the biggest diffference IMO.
  19. supo replied to Craig's post in a topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
not too dissimialr. weve both got a smooth /slower take away to transition but hitting thru the ball differs , i think craig gets more speed to the ball, and i get more speed going thru the ball ........... ithink.........,
  20. im going to get a set ASAP . they look awsome for what iwant
  21. supo replied to supo's post in a topic in Japanese Golf Clubs

    yup the 2, 18*
  23. re bought and shafted a set of 3 and 5 woods 3 with diamana B 70x and the 5 with diamana stinger X both tweeked by my master for ultimate performance to come out about D2 swing weight , albeit a little shorter than ud expect , which i dnt mind 1 iota as im going shorter with ALL my clubs. well.. the 5 wood is a MEGA BEAST. i can not move this thing i milimeter on purpose to draw. its just the ultimate point shoot fairway wood from the turf . its awsome IF you have the course to play it on which i ddint !!!! this will be in the bag this weekend on my longer tracks and itll go head to head with the same shafted crazy f19. my 5w ultimate test. the 3 with the B shaft isnt as punchy as with the diamana X in it . tha t thing from the tee is amazing, especially if u hook the ball a lot ts just unreal to play, however as i slice the X was a bridge too far esp off the deck. i just didnt have it consistant s i do with the crazy f14. weird i know but its a fact.! with the s B shaft tho i straightened out a lot .Hheight was pretty similar. maybe slightly higher/ not quite as difficult to get well, especially off the turf i found it much easier off the tee it wasnt as good as with the quadra fire express, but it is now a MUCH more overall easier top play 3w. its mega straight. easy to launch and as always distance is good. dont know if id use it as a n out adn out green seeker like the egg spoon original or ryoma f2. but its way better off the tee. so over all it think i build close to the perfeect al rounder 3 w if thats ur thing this takes somebeating id rate this combo ****extremely high***** and better than the other shafts in it for day in out use. although not as long as the quadra nor as punchy as the X. they might just stay a while yet this set..........,

plyaed a full 3 days of the epon balls both the f3 and f4. think i usedthe f4 more. thought it a ver ynice all rounder. felt a bit "heavier and harder ' than my tourstage x-01 mild, but not as firm adn the x-01z. the f3 . wel that just spins like a top on full wedges it goes ballsitic! the f4 not so much. think the f4 was my preferd ball in colder conditions ill play them both this wekeend in the heat to see if thats a differnce very very hard for me to take the tourstages out tho. those titlesist came close but i just love the feel on the greens of the tourstage.

well........................... CLUB OF THE YEAR.................................... for me so far. went with the stock honma sakata stiff 85 shaft to test it out, bec its winter and thought s bit less stress is a good idea. well it was!! in fact t was SO good i left it in oz i didnt miss hit one shot with this, not once, from the tee i get it to 206+ meters. straight tiny fade off deck about 185 ish used this on LOTS of short par 4s (which my course has PLENTY of ) at uber consistant and confidence insprining il ldo some awsome feel. 100% confident is sanying its the best DI ive ever used no off set none its is a perfect match in my bag. gonna take something special to beat this for my club of the year
