-
the shaft is the white crazy labomba 7.4. so I guess that's sx flex from memory. anyway its perfect.
-
great write up indeed. very good looking head . might have to test this out sooner or later.

my attas egg for 180???????? for the love of golf that's some deal. my attas is NOT the bangaldeshy POS its the Japanese top of the ronge shaft. did u build that ur self ?
-
well what ever combo I have is as smooth as it gets. 19* tho , so not an ideal loft for a ute for me for par3s, 21* is prefect , but this takes over from a short fwood. or 5 wood. it launches lower but prob similar distance. def longer than the 3iron with similar launch conditions found it was . good to lay up to a short wedge distance on the par 5s. this is gonna be awsome at longy , the lakes and NSW. !

oooooooooooooooh sorry . yes ur right I didn't see it like that , I don't normally expect digs from people, it must be the lack of peasantry in me . but I cant see what written above. ah well another one in the bin.

ok... egg spoon original 13* crazy f16 egg 2015 16.5* Yamaha iff TOUR 14* ryoma f2 13* kasco fd 12.8* callaway erc3 15* modart what ever it is 14* TM v-steel 15* that took me 12 seconds to complie without having to think at all, prior to these ther wasn't anything specialsied enough to consider. obv a few are tee sepcialtities.. the crayxz the callaway, the kasco the iff tour the rest are from the fairway specials . put it like this I cant see myself without the fd.. the spoon 13 and 16.5 ever. the rest cud be usurped.. in a comp I go to the 16.5 spoon and the fd almosat without exception. not being a twat but when uve hit as many as I have, and again.., theres is NO ONE ,anywhere over 20 yrs of playing JDM gear that has come even close to hiitng what ive hit and writes about it , err besides prob chris.., ..... then u get to make big calls bec every now and again something big sticks out. these mentioned above stick out. big time! IS THIS......................... is this a...a...a...a review of something new????? I had to double check that!!! awesome write up man. seems we have stumbled onto the same like over the same weekend. im enamoured with that modart/cfrazy urte set up just as much hell freezing over wudda been shorter odds than that id have thought previously.

wowsah, if u like feel in your fws AND performnce then this thing is really good I had a proper run with it yesterday. feel is amazing.. had plenty off tees, and plenty going to long par5s ,, im semi retracting my initial post its that NOT short at all, it get right out there and it get out there flat! hit about 10-20 off the tees yesterday and its a hammer, only need a tiny tee height but that helps flatter the arc out . it was really good. controlled draws with it not far few yards only but a draw none the less, makes a nice change. donth tink id change it for the crazyf1 nor the egg spoon form a tee , but its MILES better all rounder for guys that like a sleek low profile head, ive not been a fan of the mpreior , but this is damn damn good. definitely challenge for the ryoma f2 or 3 but not as easy to hit , its a bit more specialized. dotn think beginner s wud get the most out of it , but a-b grades wud kill it.

nope, that didn't suit m y eye. I never look at utes anyway it was just bec I was given this to try out that I bothered in a non comp day. gotta say im hooked. l the lender mighten ever get this back!!!!

Low loft with high launch/spin vs higher loft & low launch/spin.
supo replied to Mjr. D's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
melb courses are particularly punishing on drivers not set up right for you, I LOVE playing down there, I pretty much take the beam and the eggs bec as a rule I find the grass really quite accomdating to some roll . id rather loose a fair bit In the air and not have it disappear over a boundary fence, and let it hit the deck earlier and get some roll straighter. granted that's not what the the pros do...... but I aint a pro! -
http://www.tourspecgolf.com/modart-ma01h-hybrid-utility this thing. crazy UTE shaft in stiff flex. I HATE utes, hate them ,everything goes OB left big time .......................aced them years ago. or it did till yesterday an untill this. I hit this on track yesterday 20 times. not ONE went left with a snap hook. it went arrow straight and with a tiny fade. its ................. MAGNIFICENT...................! 19* crazy ute shaft , mid flight but very piercing ultra sleek head shape with OFFSET!!!!!! and feel is just spechelss it killed the ball , I hit it from the tee and it flew high but with beautiful arc and landed soft, from the deck its an exorcet. foooooooooookeeeeeeeeen love this thing,, this and the 14* fw ....., oh my god im in lerrrrrrrrrrrrrv. with modart stuff. never ever ever wudda thought that possisble, but I give huge credit where its due.

Mitsubishi BF-Series Next Gen Blue Board Shaft
supo replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
the gold standard of shaft returns. hope its a better suited driver shaft than the last B series, that wasn't so good in a driver but it was top of the line KILLER in fairway woods. mid high kick this one, ohhhhh yea.., oh yea! -
Low loft with high launch/spin vs higher loft & low launch/spin.
supo replied to Mjr. D's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
as a rule I see a higher angled head + high kick shaft wil lbe the safer option other wise u wil lget the ball back spinning too much and the jet fighter trajectory occurs, that cool in irons but but for drivers, u will loose ur arc and over all distance, u might hit a few more fariways but youlll suffer in distance. the harder u hit it the lower u can go with face angle. I dunno my swing speed its 100 -110 in there somewhere, I get best results with a 9-9.5* jbeam and lighter diamana x shaft. or if I its a nice day he 7.5* egg with diamana stinger that's mid kick, that's my safer option ,but I get more distance from the jbeam combo, that's really low spin and low launch but the arc is so pure, I plyed I2 drivers yesterday a 10* head and mid kick shaft, and the jbeam 9* dia X , the difference was very noticeable , into the wind the higher head lost 20 yards ,but down wind it was about 10 longer due to the extra carry. I don't really ever use factory machine data, I use course data. if its windy u want a low launch head with a low spin shaft, if its lovey , then u can go for broke with a higher loft and mid kick. to steal a few more air meters. if I was building ur clubm youd be hitting laqst yrs egg head @ 7.5* with a diamana X IN , XXXXXXXXXXXXX flex. u can generate enough speed to make this sing, I KNOW THIS QED, bec in feb this year, a mate of mine who swings at 126 mph..... YES u read that right. 126 mph hit my egg and ive never seen anything like it. its designed for those kinda guys, in comparison I look like a fricken mouse with it, I had no idea that performace was possible, ive certainly never seen it. it was outrageous. that's what id build for you -
hahaaha.. yea im really into that these days ,the NS protos ihave are simply sensational soft stepped. its ruined others for me I don't get the same buzz when the all lifts of ,its great. ordinarily id get these but im so enamoured with my NS I cant get em out of the bag for anything esle
