  1. got the st proto models in 3 sets of iron at present in x flex. def not too stout. they are very light and I find them pretty tight without being to taught and rod like. im not really a fan of the light weight but I like what they can do in low launching masda and srixon heads. although I find my self swinging a little too fast with them at times. they do launch very high but they are most def tight. id thini f u like smooth light steel shafts these are ver ygood. the ydo go high tho. the comparable ones ive got are shimada 3001 similar weight and feel, maybe a touch whippier and slighty lower , just redoing a set of miuras with them. the 6 iron tested very well. I thought slightly softer flex and slightly lower than the st (105) modus.

  5. Ooooohnthese must have been from the day. Theonly combo set that works andgreat shaft match. Ur next set must be interesting!
  6. oooooh I forgot one... kamui pro tp -07 I dunno what it is about this thing m but its massive. not the most forgiving .but man oh man ,mi fi play a long course with fast ,wide fairways, this thing is automatic, I thnk its the longest sigl piece ive had built. granted some of the long uns go kilometers over fences, into cows, light poles, sheep, but the thng is, they go miles! this and the crazy sounding astro tour are the big guns.

It's only bec. The irons I hit are very square .unfortunately every set of irons I pixk up look offset . I shudsa clarified that earlier. They are a wonderful looking g set of bats . it's just my eye has been irrevocably altered as to what I look at. For a normal set of irons I'd imagine these are right on the money. The rest of the set is fantastic. And if I had a spare motza on me . I prob wudda lifed them. I still thought at first glance they were AF tour esque.

ahh., I found a set last night, they are similar to the af tours in looks and head shape , ihad to double take to see they were in fact titleist but a bit smaller and rounder, pronounced of set in the pw (sigh) made me pass them up, good looking sticks, very eye catching!

the 120s are the easiest to the modus to play for pretty much anyone. they are the stock NS shaft from OEMS nowadays. 120s is in everything, and I really like those as well, my masdas back home have 120x in them and hell wud freeze over before I swapped those out!. but they don't get the airlift I need up here, but on l my inks they overtook the c-tapers for performance, and they are long as well. 1/2 club longer easily, but the x in them really feels like an X. ..............., doiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing!!!!! the shimadas are another tough best, I found u need a fast transition to ignite them better than a slow change , my methodical swing doesn't suit them at all. the difference between the modus 125s and the tour 125 shimads was enormous. I cudnt activate the shimads like I can with the 125s . simply a swing speed thing. if u have a quick swing then the shimads shud be very high up on your wish list. for me they were a let down.
  17. love the look of this.... stunning , like the 2 dot ball aligner
  18. ahhhh as much as I like the miura set ups I just cant get over the goose neck he does. eeeeeeeeeeeeeek!

right plenty ofp lay with these vs each other now and on sat had the 6 irons out in the same honma tw 717 head so there was no approximation it was clear sa day. the 125s are a mid flighted heavier, sturdier shaft that don't really like to be acred very much. they do go but its not a lot which is a great thing bec I can put a pronounced shaped swing on it and I know it wont go meter s off target. these are as good , every bit as good in heavy wind as the monacos (although the monaccos have a similar flight as the 130s). they are tighter flex than the 130s with a more arced flight , originally I said I cudnt /wudnt like to play these every day, but ive sinced changed my mind big time. these are clearly, my best performing shafts. BUT that don't mean I like ot play them the most!!!!!! the 130s I have out in play on sat, ahh jee t hese are an enjoyable shaft , not as finicky as the 125, not as taught. and a wee bit easier to move about. if that's a good thing or not is up to the individual. for me I prefer it bec I like to get funky at times, something I cant d owith the 125s and whay they are my comp shafts. found I didn't quite have to muscle up with the 130s as much as the 125s , and also found the flight is a better shape to hold greens, esp the longer irons. the 3-4-5 irons are a joy to hit ad watch fly but they definitely lack the stability of the 125s. when hitting 130s long irons to greens its a much easier thing to do! in blades I believe the 125 prob suit slightly better and in mucle cavity back I think the 130s are a better match. the 130s in my prgr idbl migh very well end up buried with me! tough call as the feel of the 130s wins for sure. but the overall superior playability of the 125s prob edges the 130s. if ihad to choose just one set for a year on all conditions all surfaces. ahhhhhh id go the 125s as long as im hiitng the ball well. if not id go the 130s. 130s easier... 125s tighter. both super shafts
  20. yea I like em, but maybe slightly greyer numbers cud suit as well.
  21. the mizuno head with the sliding weights on the base looks interesting. (jpx I think its called??) ,is prob the only OEM driver that looks somewhat interesting at present, and im not sure if its a current model or not, . unfortuanyl the lastest heads from teh big companies just don't do it , Yamaha bridgestone etc... and I don't ever look at callawy nor TM ever so I cudnt even say what they have out, the super egg must be unbeleiveable considerign what the conforming one does so consistently. that head is really growing on me after a shaft change , it tightened it up a bit, thng hits huge bombs now. the grandista had my eye but it wuda been a replica for the egg so I passed up on it. although I cant stop waggling it when I see one. the old jbeam 425 tour is another id like to see again in my bag . that was a fantastic head. had it with a crazy black 50, shud NEVER have sold that. docus , what ever that is I making a big push here as well, but I just cudnt hit a driver called docus.

I will spit l these as well, obv id prefer to clear them together, but yes ill do it . heads 700..3-pw! yes 3-pw shafts 500 shipped price
  23. hmm seems lots older stuff so far.. interesting. no idea what an "m " dirver is. Yamaha 406 jeees, I stil lgot a 9* head of that, fantastic head. I keep shafting it ,reshafting it , thtas had everything , gdp9003x ( prob the best suited shaft I hit in it ) fex, stinger, crazy ls noir, diamana B, list keeps on going.
  24. well that's good to see. a few older ones as well. I just had a peek at a few newer ones recently and it was mostly zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I thnk the companies have run outta ideas but it don't help when a new relsease every 3 months from a few companies ruins it for all. gee id like to play those tracks Prof, one day ..... I will!
