Solid point. But golf club manufacturers need to decide whether to do this with class, or to market their stuff garishly. In an industry where the aesthetics of the product very much directly correlates to its sales, they should think long and hard about how it looks.

If all specs are the same, which launches higher and more forgiving? I gave up my TRPX S in 10* b/c it didn't launch high enough for me. Had the messenger 1st in there. Thinking about giving it another try in 11 or 11.5*. Or giving a different head, like 535 or Glorious, a try.

Does it play true to flex or weaker?

If I wanted to try the glorious stock shaft, would it be recommended to go up in flex like many have been doing for the TRPX Air?

Any more info on the stock shaft? What other shafts seem to fit well with this head, especially for a smooth 95 mph swing?

Or maybe the 2015 Srixon u45? Probably has more offset than the Honma though. How are the distances with the Honma btw? Any sacrifice in that department for the sake of control?

Visited the east coast this week and picked up the Iomic and Perfect Pros (CC Cord and Original Cord). Once gripped and ripped, I'll report back.

I need a comparison on these 2. I've experimented enough with fw shafts. I usually fiddle around with pulls or cheapies, but I think it's time to invest in a legit premium fw shaft. I have a relatively smooth 95mph SS. I used to have a neutral grip, but since I have a mid release, I'm trying to teach myself a slightly stronger grip in order to catch and compress the ball better. I normally like tips that are on the more active side to help me get the ball in the air when I hit 3w off the turf. I'm always a 'tweener... can be size M or L depending on brand (US sizes - I'd definitely be at least a L, or XL even, in asian sizes). Likewise, in golf, I'm always having to decide between R or S in shaft flexes. Should I go 6.4 or 6.9 in Crazy flex? What about TRPX? I'm sure there are some 95mph swingers that have gone through this ordeal already. Help me out, please - I'd be in your debt (of sorts).

Will these be coming out any time soon? I'm extremely curious as to which clubs and components ended up rounding out the year.
