Can a good club builder open up this face angle?
It sets up closed to my eye. I have to put a pretty good forward press on the shaft to make it look square at address.

Can a good club builder open up this face angle?
My Romaro R utes are a thing of beauty. But they set up really closed. These utes have long necks w/ part of it being metal. Would a good club builder be able open up the face angle so it sits more square? http://www.tourspecgolf.com/romaro-2013-ray-forged-type-r-utility-club-head-only

Vegaman, very smart pick up.- Romaro 2013 Ray V Forged Type R
I picked up a set of these recently. I only have a couple of range sessions and maybe three or four dozen hits with my pitching wedge and eight iron with an indoor monitor. I do agree with Akapur that these aren't super lengthy, but still a bit above average for me. However, forgiveness compared to other heads it's size is unparalleled. Feel is wonderful, too - soft, but solid. Also, these heads respond to shafts very well. I've owned irons like the 2010 VG3s, that launched high for me no matter what shafts I installed. These are much more shaft friendly if that makes sense; high launch shafts go high and vice versa. Apart from performance, the cavity design and charcoal finish look dope!- Some excited thoughts on my new acquisitions! & Hybrird/Utility Recommendations?
You've surely filled your bag with some great JDM equipment. Congrats. I would not hesitate to pull the trigger on a Romaro Type R hybrid at all. I have them in both18 and 21°, and these things are easy to launch, forgiving, look good and feel good. There's nothing more you can ask of these. They'll be in my bag for a while. Talk to T or Tats; either one of them will fit you right up with the right shaft.- Gold's Factory GF00A SUS303 putter - SOLD
Both putter and insert are sus303? Sorry, gotta ask. I'm not all that knowledgeable about Gf putters.- FS 2013 Yamaha V Forged SOLD

- Kamui VS Kamui - Nitro VS Air
I have like zero experience with Kamui drivers, pro or works. Spoon, T, or anyone else - can you comment on feel, compared to more popular woods, like epon or yamaha?- Graphite irons shaft
Check Titleist's iron shaft chart. There are a few graphite and graphite composite shaft options you can compare for launch and spin. I've been playing with Steelfiber 80 shafts for 2 seasons in jpx 800 pro heads. But I don't get enough height and carry with these shafts in my new Romaro heads. I need slightly more launch and spin. Thinking about new graphite shafts as well, and was leaning toward tour ad 85, but the graph shows the 65 to launch and spin so high that I'm skeptical. Looks like the recoils go about the same as steelfibers, so no point in those.- Golf push trolleys/carts
Shankopotamus replied to Ian-500's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearI give 1/2 my vote to the SM Micro Cart for stability and compact and easy folding. I give my other 1/2 vote to Bag Boy's Triswivel Cart. The front wheel swivels making mobility around the course like 10 times easier than all other carts w/o swiveling wheels.- Graphite irons shaft

Very good-looking lineup, especially the driving iron and the very unassuming, non-paintfil wedge- 2014 ONOFF Forged CB-358 Irons
Really liking the sharp toe. But I'm also a little skeptical about their claims...same forgiveness w/o the tungsten weighting and shorter heel to toe? Can't wait to read reviews on this claim.- TRPX Driver : comparing numbers
I just got back from another session on the monitor. Much different than my previous one. My launch angle averaged 12.2° today. I think Robby was right in that I just needed some more swings with this driver/shaft combo to get used to how it loads, how it releases, also the slightly higher swingweight of this club than my previous gamer. My overall distance was actually the same, more or less, just the trajectory and carry versus roll distances were a little bit different: more carry and slightly less roll today. This driver is pretty much perfect.- TRPX Driver : comparing numbers
Yes, it is. I've never hit 255-260 regularly. However, I do know the limitations of indoor launch monitors. Some are better than others, but I'm going to keep the 10 degree head until I can get out to the course and test it out, but I have the feeling this head just launches a touch low for my natural swing. The shaft has a kick at impact I've never felt before. Not a whippy kick. It's hard to explain for me as I've never felt something like this before. But one I know for sure is this S-013 is the hottest conforming driver I've ever hit. If you're reading this post and have never tried a TRPX driver, contact Tario and buy one...today! ?- TRPX Driver : comparing numbers
Well that's how hot this face is. Lower launch and lower spin, but still longer average carry. I should be more specific with my SS, too. With the Titleist, my SS is 91.8 mph and 135mph ball speed. With the TRPX, my SS is 95.5 and 142. In course is def the most reliable, but I'm still thinking a little more carry would be possible with higher launch.- First look: Ryoma's new Titanium Utilities w/DSI Technology
This looks like a very forgiving head design. I would be concerned about workability, but looks as if it would be the a very good point and shoot "rescue" club - SOLD and CLOSED Romaro Type R Hybrids + SX IS-sole 52* Wedge ALL MINT
