  2. Need to wait for the specs to come out. Occasionally, they differentiate the lofts on Global vs Japan versions of their products. MP54 global model had weaker/higher lofts compared to the Japan model for example. Having said that, for muscleback models, it is likely they will both have traditional lofts.
  3. Nabla Tours as the name suggest are great looking tour irons slightly larger sized than other tour irons. However, flight is definitely lower compared to 503 or similar models. I noticed that you use NS 950 which in my opinion is a mid to higher launching shaft. What you could do is to find a head that you like from a feel and offset perspective and pair them with some high launching shafts to help you with the launch. Perhaps even try some graphite shafts with low kick point.
  4. When "feel" is a requirement , typically you'd think a full forged option is the way to go, but I guess some people like the slight clickiness and springiness over dense buttery feel. I'd prefer the MCB over any multi construction but thats just me. Based on the attributes mentioned, Id think RS Forged or TMB would best fit his requirements. Possibly the new Egg PF as well.
  5. Thanks!! believe it or not, pictures do not do justice! its pure perfection in the flesh!!
  6. I am very much hoping that it will become my Birdie generating weapon!
  7. Thanks!! This is their standard bead blast finish. The other standard finish is a more shiny finish which I believe is pretty much straight out of the millimg machine. Though the raw finish would have been cool, I didnt want the reflection to bother me on sunny days. They also have a black finish as an added option. Of course!!! I'll have to dig up my notes but think about a full swing analysis done with your driver and irons and imagine doing the same for all variables associated to your putter stroke. Its interesting to know why some putters work better for you over others!
  8. My putter has arrived!! It's really really nice!! I no longer need to wonder whether a putter is a good fit or not. It's tailored to perfectly fit my stroke! What's also cool is that loft and lie are not just adjusted by bending... my custom specs are implemented via custom CNC milling programming . Thank you Chris for arranging the fitting appointment with short notice while I was in Japan and thank you for the quick delivery as well! Can't wait to take her out on my next round!!

I don't think they retail those driver heads. I was told that it is just a head they use for demo of their shafts.

I get goose pumps when I successfully pull off an intentional fade with any of my clubs ! :)

One question I have is about the straight neck .... Does the MCB offer workability compared to other GI heads that have significant offset? I ask this because I recently picked up a set of Mystery WNC-710 Game Improvement forged irons that have significant offset. ( Yes it is quite the ugly duckling. I bought it for the shafts that came with them ) I read that article on WRX about a low handicapper using Rapture irons and scoring low so I decided to give these a try. My stock iron shots are draws with any typical players irons. With these Mysteries, they are pretty much straight to a very very mild draw. While they offer almost no workability, I pretty much get point and shoot straight shots with them and NOT hooks. After gaming the Shinagawa blades for a while, using these GI irons are totally a refreshing experience.... I feel like I can shoot under par with them!! ( Never done this yet!! ) Anyway, if I can add workability to the mix with these GI irons, I feel that those would be the "Ultimate" score making irons. And perhaps the MCBs are just that?!! GO LOW!!
  12. The new Egg PF looks pretty good to me.

It's a Miura Craftsman World custom but really the only custom thing I did were the smaller head shape and Copper underlay + Ni finish. Otherwise stock. The scalloped back seems to provide added forgiveness compared to your typical tour shaped wedges and I think it has a slightly wider sole.

I am using the Miura MG S-01 in 52/58 and love them. Uber soft feel and quite a bit more forgiving than your typical JDM wedges I think.
  15. Awesome!! Can you please remind us on what lofts are available and in what finishes?

  18. I have a similar Gold's from the same era. Though there are no milling on the face, I find these SUS303 very soft at impact. This would make an awesome base for a full customization!. GLWS
  19. What weight Miyazaki did you have and what iron heads? Also, why are you trying to get more distance with your irons? Just curious.

Those looks like ferrules from Watanabe. Not sure how to get them outside of Japan. http://www.watanabe-golf.co.jp/socket/original/technoline.html

I had tried the TR500 / Monaco combo that Cuistot has ( I believe came from Stu-san originally ) The combo is magically plush at impact. Perhaps even softer than the Shinagawa/Monaco combo that I am gaming now. Either the head is really really soft or the combo is built in a way it eliminates unwanted vibration.
