The craftsmanship on those putters is absolutely spectacular. I will definitely be in the market for a gf putter soon. Congrats!
  2. i have the exact same set with the exact same shafts (3-4 302 and 5-pw AF tours) and the combination is awesome. glws
  3. I guess I can chime in on this thread…. Currently located in Boston, MA - USA by way of Geneva, London and Chicago. Currently a lowly CPA at a Fortune 500 company which means I don’t get out more than once a week. No family yet but as I approach my mid 30’s I’m sure it will happen soon. I played D3 golf at a local school in Western, Massachusetts and I can’t get enough of JDM or just high quality goods in general…yes that means watches, cameras, fish tanks etc.. Currently the only non JDM gear in my bag is a putter and I am sure that will change in the near future. Jason
  4. how are you liking the thread milled grooves? thus far i love how the ball rolls with my m4 meritage (i got the max number of grooves). i can feel a nice tight roll with it and although i have only had one round with it, it is a nice and welcome change to putting.

I wholly agree. I too tried the tour lock weight but much lighter than yours. Still with 50g in the grip it has made a huge difference in my game. I too play at 33 inches at around 365 g head weight.
  6. So I purchased the messenger 1ST only to pair with my t388 9.5. I have had two full rounds and 3 range sessions with it and so far the shaft is as advertised. Tario and I settled on the SX shaft playable at d2 and at 45.25 inches. Compared to the ly02 7.2 and stock stiff shaft he trpx i definitely longer and straighter. I also get a more piercing ball flight than the other two shafts. On bad swings I still got plenty of distance and on the rare occasion that I slice I found that side spin was less when compared to the other aforementioned shafts. This shaft is a tad heavier than the stock stiff but the weight is not a hindrance. I find that I can make an easy swing or an aggressive swing with this shaft and still get excellent results. I do not find this shaft to be boardy or to weak or stiff. It's just right
  7. Miura Canada just doesn't want to lose revenue to a separate business. For someone reason it seems like Miura North America has lost its appeal or sexyness in my area over the past couple years.
  8. love the contrast! mine should be shipping soon.
  9. dude i love that. its so unique! i should be in hawaii now come to think of it...the rest of the family is there now while i slave at work...

so i decided to try the vibrant shaft. well see how it looks. According to Dave the putter should be done within 7 business days. Cant wait! When will yours be done?

TMG will be interesting. ive actually never putted with horizontal grooves before. i went with the most number of grooves (i forgot the exact number). hopefully my putter will be done relatively soon. cant wait to see yours since you made alot of modifications. mine is pretty standard.

I went with the more firm TMG grooves. i have the deep VMG on my M10 so i wanted to totally change things up with the M4. thus i went with TMG and stainless steel. what did you go with? post updates as you get them!

could be cool in a putter. which machine model did you end up going with? i have an m4 in progress now.
  14. still available. Best offers accepted
  15. you have me wondering if that might fit me. neither the TJ 46 noir and LY fit me as i think they were just too light. i was hitting moonballs with those shafts. but i dunno...crazy has me confused right now.
  16. i reshafted my 9.5 with a crazy ly 7.2 and lost about 10 yards overall. i have since replaced that with the stock shaft which works extremely well for me.
  17. looks pretty cool. i wonder how deep it is compared to the HD. I crush the HD but i like the black of the new series.
  18. I tried to get Gene Nead to make a putter as well but when i Had contacted him i believe he was on a leave of absence and no longer making putters. Also, i am having Machine make me an M4 putter. No frills on this one as i want something completely different from my M10. Please let us know how your communication/experience with Machine goes.
  19. great looking M10 supo. I really like Machine's products. Even if people arent into damascus, Machine will use many other materials to build their putters. im thinking about an aluminum bronze mallet in the near future.
  20. I believe this is true but it also depends on the finish you obtain. Machine told me to specifically wipe down my putter with regularity with a silicone cloth and i have a medium maintenance finish.
  21. yes the price is not cheap at all depending on the modifications and model that you choose. I LOVE the VMG deep milling because it seems to get the ball rolling very quickly. Byron is around the same price as machine for a damascus putter. other than machine, byron and lajosi i wasnt able to find another reputable putter make that could deal with damascus.
