  1. Hi May be you've done this but have you checked the lie angles for your irons. For me re Af tour took a while to find the absolute sweet spot as it is most in the middle than traditional blades.
  2. Oh the A grind's traditional shape is such an absolute beauty!! And low launch too.
  3. Hi aeru Nice set up.George spirits any yuyuri be rare here too. Yeah Jdm sucks you slowly into its vortex...then you are convert.. The Modart would be interesting. Cheers
  4. Golf Porn!!!
  5. No Love for Shin...I put my hands on one on the weekend. It really didn't look that bad in real life. Its had fantastic feel and balance!! Plus I reckon Golds could do an amazing Mod on it if the aim line really and badge really annoyed you...but Epon quality wise...it doesn't fail.
  6. HI bkkgolfer I found a couple of shops in Far East Shopping centre. There are some JDM used clubs there ie Epon, Ryoma, Romaro..tec...however te prices for the used clubs hardly make it worth while. Might as well buy new. And Bangkok golf is excellent...cheap and plenty of courses. Maybe next time you are around we can get a game at MBGC. Isn't JDM funny first you look from the outside and say WOW... never...then you try one and get sucked into the vortex lol and transform your equipment. Cheers Jeff
  7. Great advice.....thanks

Chiro I had my AF tour chromed bent flat 3.5deg no problems. The best material to protect the hosel is to use impact tape/helicopter tape.. The stuff they sometimes Stuck on new driver when you demo them. Can't advise on the copper finish and whether it will crack though.
  9. Thanks For the suggestion. Why I am considering this, is because I have a Shaft slightly too stout for my liking. This way I might just get away with it.
  10. ChrisIs there a prescribed ideal size ? And what is maximum like 1/4"? Because i know it I bring this idea to a club maker he might go Huh???

    Excellent shaft!!
  12. Waiting til next week as I'll hand it to him then.
  13. I am surprised he hasn't caved in his driver...lol
  14. HI I travel a fair bit and spent the last 5 years travelling between Hong Kong and Australia. Now I doing that but from Singapore. The JDM presence though small in Australia...there are a few of us spread over the vast country. I noticed the JDM scene in singapore is not as big as in HK. Most people don't know about brands other than the Majors...Mizuno, Honma, Bridgestone...maybe PRGR and Miura has a presence here...that's about it. The US brands seem to dominate. It's surprising as we are in the heart of SE Asia. The golf shops here are totally uninteresting...nothing like what Chris has to offer... But I know that there are a few you TSgers out there from Singapore. Maybe just drop us a line on this forum to say Hi...and shoot the breeze on JDM chit chat. Cheers Jeff
  15. Has the Byron got a Damascus steel face to it?
  16. Can't keep a 7 dreamers shaft under my credit card radar...
  17. Yeah tempting...P2. Reason they are in the drawer is because they are hidden from my wife. Lol. Four sets of iron is all she will tolerate. But I didn't emotion her collection of shoes and hand bag.....just didn't want to go there.
  18. But I must say I wouldn't mind owning all of those JDM blades..I like the Zodia ones too.
  19. I am using Epon Af tours couldn't be happier. Such a forgiving blade. Have a set of P1 in the drawer for later.
  20. Price drop...that's cheap for a even for the shaft alone.
  21. Chris, I was getting the ideal launch ie mid launch and fairly low spin with the J beam bm435 in a 9.5deg. What loft would you choose in the JBeam 435 Blackout to get a similar launch characteristics? 10deg?? I just loved the window the original Jbeam was coming out of...
