Interesting Session with two 7D shafts today
No apology necessary and I hope I didn't come off the wrong way. I just meant that this was my concern also when these first gained interest.

Interesting Session with two 7D shafts today
We went through this in another thread and iirc the consensus from 7D was that most people's swing changes won't be drastic enough to worry about.

Refinished Clubs.... Show & Tell.
The turtle is a 435, the ghosted hibiscus is my Tourstage X-FW Type T, the hula girl is a Yamaha I.F.F, and the ghosted hammerhead is an Adams peanut.

Uh-oh...look where I stumbled in to!
Nice! Did you stumble in also?? :)

Uh-oh...look where I stumbled in to!
Just an update. I was notified last week that my shaft should be completed on the 23rd so the Quadra FEX WBQ was pulled and the 435 was shipped off to 7D for mating. We're getting close!

Monaco TT Stiff 4-PW
Chasing unicorns again huh hutchy! However, I do have a set of 4-pw (38" 5iron) that I might be willing to let go of...................but.........they have a set of nearly new cabretta Gripmasters on them that I'm not willing separate.

Interesting Session with two 7D shafts today
Interesting stuff! My 435 is on it's way to 7D and after hearing that they couldn't hook your shafts, I'm really excited!

Refinished Clubs.... Show & Tell.
With that much play, I wouldn't expect copper to last very long at all. I "only" get in about 100 rounds per year and our sandy soil wreaks havoc on nice finishes in no time.

We golf year around so that number seemed normal to me...lol

Would it be greedy or wrong to have two of these?

A-GRIND Classic Driver vs T388 by S-Yard
Lol, I heard that was missing. My 435 hosel doesn't have a plug either but it also has 3 weight ports to make it really easy to position the hot melt.

A-GRIND Classic Driver vs T388 by S-Yard
Hot melt can go anywhere but it's easier with an open head design or if there are weight ports. It's simply a specific type of glue from a hot glue gun injected into the head the allowed to settle then dry in a selected area depending on where the player/builder wants it.

A-GRIND Classic Driver vs T388 by S-Yard
Lol, my specs are so crazy that nobody is willing to experiment to those extremes...and I can't say that I blame them! My results work for me though. :)

A-GRIND Classic Driver vs T388 by S-Yard
I'm weird to begin with but I felt the same way. Maybe I've just gotten too used to the feel and sound of a filled 435 because by all accounts the T.388 is one of the all time best...

ZY-11 Preliminary Review
I agree, it's a done deal. Keep in mind that while Stew will wear you out on the course, it's The Baron that you need to worry about after hours. "Let's stop in here for one drink" turned into two and a half bottles of Jaegermeister!!!

No balls about it
I played the Wilson Duo (softest compression ball I know of) for one hole. Felt amazingly soft off the driver and every bit as long as any premium ball. Hit my 9 iron on the next shot and turned to my buddy screaming "where the f**k did that go?". He looked at me puzzled and said it's going right at the hole where you hit it. It was so soft it felt like my club went right underneath it and I skied it...no feedback whatsoever! Got to a 12 foot put and that thing bounced off my putter like a superball from the grocery store gum ball machine leaving me an 6ft come-backer to save par. It behaves the same way with chips, just launches off the club at super slow swing speeds.

A-GRIND Classic Driver In Hand Images
Does the hosel even allow full access to the crown? If not there's no way to even foam this head. The inability to increase head weight is the reason I backed off my intentions of buying...

Taylormade Tour Preferred X is my gamer but ProV-1 X is always a good backup.
