JBEAM 435 Black Out Driver In Hand Pics!
Cotton in the 435 has turned it into the best feeling/sounding driver I've tried. For me it even spanks the T.388 in those departments!

Done with club builders (nothing against them) - need your help though
You'll enjo having loft/lie machines. I'm always checking and adjusting and it's helped me find what works best for me. I can't answer much on aligning shafts as I've given up worrying about it since most high end graphite companies already do that with their shafts.

lightweight steel or graphite iron shafts advice please
I'm all over the place with light shafts too and prefer heavier with a D4/5 swingweight for tempo reasons. I'm not sure if over time one will gain their tempo back but I just couldn't wait that long.

iron shaft test....
I've been experimenting with a set of MCI 120 S 8iron shafts in a set of wedges and they've made my Marus the most accurate wedges I've EVER played. However, if my swing is even just a tad aggressive (I try not to use full swings with scoring irons) these also become the spiniest shafts I've ever played. Ball flight is a touch high but it's hard to get too picky with this level of accuracy.

Steelfibers are what you're looking for. I had them in my AF-Tours and they were almost boring.

iron shaft test....
Mob, I moved to Recoil 125 F4s in my 302s after a nerve injury and they allowed me to continue playing when I was close to giving up...so I know your position. I still get nerve issues but I'm able to mess with other shafts now. I stumbled upon the Modus3 120s (in X flex no less) simply because they were already in a set of PRGR ID-BLs I picked up. These are as soft feeling and easy on my hands as my Recoil/302 combo. Don't ask me how...but the Modus3s might be worth trying out in a 6iron.

Torn between Wedges !!
I just got a Seven wedge but haven't figured out what to shaft it up with. I'll report back as soon as I do. I have a few wedges but don't have any experience with your listed options so I can't offer much else.

iron shaft test....
I think Stew's using X to denote flex on the Monacos since he was also testing an S flex shaft. Great info Stew. I'm honestly not sure I can find better than C-Tapers or Modus3 120s.

Epon 302 - revisited findings. Tourstage MC - unbelievable. Vokey Forged 2015 initial thoughts
Looking forward to that stew! I've got a set of Monacos S that need to get into something but I'm wondering myself if I want to try MCI, Modus3 125, or even SPBs again.

I agree, people really don't know how good the Rifles were/are. Unless you need a specialty shaft like something that lowers spin or trajectory, these still compete with any current metal shaft...and feel better to boot! I bet they would be amazing in raw Vegas!

I'm using recoils in my 302s and I think they're great but maybe just on the verge of being too soft. Not necessarily too soft in a bad way but any less feel and I really wouldn't get enough feedback on Mis-hits. Accuracy and distance have been fantastic and I've had enough low rounds with these to say they're as precise and consistent as any blade combo I have. I have Modus3 120s in my PRGR IDBLs (think 302 with less offset) and these are the best feeling metal shaft since the original Royal Precision Rifle shafts. They are very accurate with medium trajectory and medium spin for me. I haven't tried MCIs in any irons yet but I did build a set of wedges with them. They are extremely accurate but the tip may be a tad too lively for me. Admittedly, my Maru wedges do shread balls more than any other wedges I have (including raw Gekkus), but I'm getting way too much spin with these shafts and that has me questioning doing a full set.

Yamada Musashi (Handmade Smoked series) finally the hunt is over..
Nice, I like the smoked finish! Good next choice. I may send something I already own to Gold's just for something to do...but the Zen quickly ended my putter search. I haven't wanted or even putted with anything else since day one with her. In fact, I sold my Burning Copper Yamada the next day!

That's right up my alley. I might have to give that a swing if you still have it in a couple of weeks when I'm there!
