  1. I agree with Ian, C-Tapers felt better than Modus 120s to me as well. I believe that perception comes from the fact that I prefer a constant weight iron shaft over anything else.
  2. I'm nursing another rib injury but I would have scrapped the ball around with you. Besides, I need to get out to Karsten again before they close it down! Anyways, I'm glad you got the Ryoma working for you!
  3. In not surprised you liked the 110x. I've been a fan of slightly lighter shafts making heavier swingweight irons for a while now. 115g shafts at D5 seems to be my sweet spot.
  4. Playing this set-up in my Marus. Dead nuts accurate with great distance control, just the right amount of spin, and superb feel!
  5. Nice review as always. Thanks buddy!
  6. Love the white!
  7. Some of the all time best right here! I'm gaming the 17* myself and it isn't going anywhere!
  8. They're local to me and I've played with a few of their guys at local events. I didn't care for their early stuff but their latest models aren't bad at all.
  9. I'm more surprised Krank was at the Tokyo golf show! Do they have a presence in Japan?
  10. Damn, mine broke right on the scoring line too. However, I've had 3 and only one cracked so... Crazy and TSG are stand up companies with the best customer service in the business so if there's anything that can be done it will happen!
  11. I know the driver search has been frustrating you for a while so I hope this finally works out for you buddy. Looking forward to your review!
  12. I like what I'm seeing!
  13. Please let me know how those wear in Ash! What beauties!!!!
  14. Found! Thanks Ash!!!
  15. Broke my damned rib again and until I heal I need something that will go straight(er) with a few more swing flaws than usual!
  16. Bumping this old thread. The F2 is still something I'd like to try...
  17. Weird, I can't pm you either...
  18. Ryoma V1 D-Spec has been the straightest for me...and right up there on distance and feel.
  19. Forgot about those, I quite like those myself.
  20. I like the Epon Personals 1 & 2...but I already loved them both when they were Ben Hogan designs. The Buchis get my vote for one of the best looking modern blades...gotta love the minimalistic approach. If you believe marketing, functionality may have to go to the Yamahas...an MB that I really want to try but haven't. But for recent blades, I'm still stuck on the Yururis...the utilitarian look after they've been gamed for a while has got me hooked.
  21. Nice review as always, thanks Stew! The first thing I thought of from the earlier pics is how much they looked like Flatbacks. If they have the similar feel that you mentioned, it wouldn't at all surprise me to find out these started out as Kyoei blanks.
