i knew you were speaking about the old s-yards and i did check those out per your recommendation. then stew let go a set of marus so i didn't give them a second thought. but those bold wedges...oh my!!

lol...well i'm still looking for a pair of stiff monaco 8 iron shafts for the marus but haven't had any luck. my anticipation for the bold wedges is so high that i'm not sure anything will get a fair trial anyways. however, i'm knocking my yururis pretty stiff right now so both sets had better be REALLY good!

well...after stew said the maru's were impossible to find he must have felt sorry for me and ended up selling me his back-up set. i loved them for about a day and saw the first pics of that damned new s-yard bold wedge. now the maru's are just sitting here unshafted and i can't wait for the bolds to ship!!! and thanks spoony and nick!!!

that's the thing, for me the c-tapers bring out all those attributes you just listed. i've tried a lot of premium shafts in several sets of top shelf jdm clubs and so far nothing feels as good or performs better than c-tapers.

might sell the tt monacos for the right price but everything jdm is sold except kamui ray!

you're right, that is what they say...i just don't think it makes more than a mental difference for the average golfer.

low shots (relatively speaking of course) with tons of bite are so much more controllable and fun than the typical pitch shot and these look perfect for that!

that would be a killer flow set!
