you're right, that is what they say...i just don't think it makes more than a mental difference for the average golfer.

low shots (relatively speaking of course) with tons of bite are so much more controllable and fun than the typical pitch shot and these look perfect for that!

i'd hate to have heard this story go south and you sold one of the best irons ever without experiencing what they can do because of a fitting problem! setting my lie angle is always an adjustment i make before the clubs ever contact a single ball. so glad you got it sorted and to hear you enjoying these babies...congrats!!!

i doubt mortal golfers will notice any difference in spin on a rusted wedge. however, i can respect the fact that some may not be into the patina or maintenance aspect of raw wedges.

i was never a fan of some of the gf putters but if people can look upon those and see beauty i think beauty can be found in the bold wedge as well...

geez!! i'm completely satisfied with my 3w and don't think i could possibly hit one any longer...but at that price it's hard to pass this up!

i'm usually right with you on that note but something about this wedge called my name from the get-go. i haven't been this excited about gear in a long time.

i absolutely hated mine too. didn't like the looks or set up. then i hit it and hated it even more because of the sound and feel. then i looked up to see where the balls were landing and fell in love!

i looked into this last year and the bottom line imho is...unless you're willing (and lucky enough to find a used system) to spend $3-5k you won't find anything that i would consider to be accurate enough to really work on diagnostics or game improvement. anything that costs less just won't give you enough useful or consistently accurate information.
