a bit confused...are these both shafted or is the 53* head only?
  3. i'd have to see comparisons with a legitimate data analyzer (ie; trackman) before i jump on board. will this happen during the testing?
  4. how's the offset and forgiveness compared between the h's and 302's?
  5. unfortunately yes. when the economy/housing bubble crashed they could no longer grow their membership and now they'll probably never get the funding to start the clubhouse or the second 18. they just opened up for public play last year to help with revenue but that's probably just enough to keep the course open.
  6. i'll get all the specs and pm you tonight when i get home.
  7. good choices, those are all quality courses. quintero is the true hidden gem...probably the best (now) semi-private course in the valley. but bring your "a" game to her or you'll donate a more than just a few balls! unless you have access to some of the private clubs, you won't do much better than those. you could try to get on the tpc course while it's still set up for the open. playing it in championship form is fun, otherwise imho it's a fairly boring track during the rest of the year.
  8. you timed your visit perfectly, we just snapped a cold spell and it should be mid 70's for you next week! what courses do you have planned?
  9. i don't need a 3w but i've got two 18* jbeam 5w's...one maraging steel and one ti. the steel is on a matrix ozik and the ti is on a gd ad-dj6.
  10. congrats on the amazing round!
  11. that would be weird...offset may as well be a trademark of ping.
  12. i'd love to play a players cb but i just can't find anything with as little offset as a blade.
  13. as always, nothing but the best...equipment and seller!!!
  14. geez, this whole time i thought all these guys pm'ing me about you were talking about your driver trajectory!
  15. i'm glad you found the opportunity to rediscover the 435. that and my ryoma v-spec will likely never get replaced...i just can't imagine anything past, present, or future that can beat that combo!
  16. no experience with the regio but the ly02 is a bomber, especially at 45" longer. for me it's very active and loads beautifully but always returns perfectly at impact. i always know exactly where the club head is in my swing and never have to worry about this shaft delivering it's energy.
  17. is it weird that i wouldn't have a problem with some of the recent bst listings if they were on wrx, but i do here? i just feel like we're more connected here...
  18. c, wow, these look like they've never touched s ball! btw, you shouldn't worry about the finish. it only takes 5 minutes at home to refinish black oxide to as good as new!

i second these statements. the kamui is simple and long!! pm me if you're interested in a barely used 9* loft for a great price!
  20. loving the gt-sw wedge. any feedback on this?

    as always...very jealous!
  22. i've got some project x 5.5's around here somewhere. never played, pulled right out of a new set last year. pm me if interested.
  23. nice review! the only caveat i have is with your design descriptions. i think the top line is actually no thicker than other irons but the angle in which epon beveled the front portion of the top line does make it appear thicker. however, could you tell me how the top lines compare between the two (both visually and actual thickness)? also, this type of blade has been done before by hogan. in fact, not only does the design pay homage to hogan but so does the name. are these your first go with c-tapers? not many swings fit these shafts and i usually get banned for a week whenever i say how much i like their feel on a golf forum. i think they play stiff to flex and dropped a half flex. i haven't found a better shaft since!
  24. unless you're playing pro level tourneys you don't have to worry about non conforming grooves until 2024.
  25. typically woods or wood style utes need to have a mold made to hold them properly for bending. one of the problems bending jdm heads is that the exclusivity prevents nearly anyone from making a mold.
