I was wondering if anyone has hit the Mystery 440 driver yet? Whenever a left handed option becomes available, it always sparks my interest. Also curious if the 455 or 460 head come in left handed?
  2. Thanks, I was leaning that way, but had seen a lot of positive reviews on older Yamaha drivers, just not Much info. on the new one
  3. Need alittle advice. I am starting to have a wandering eye back towards JDM drivers. I have a Crazy 435 with a Crazy shaft; it is long as advertised, but not very forgiving and the feel is decent but not great. The only other lefty options that I see are the new Yamaha RMX forged driver or the Epon 103. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with both of these drivers and can compare them for me? Ryoma, S Yard, TRPX, etc. do not make left handed drivers as far as I can tell. Thanks!
  4. I see a lot of focus on the irons but what about the driver? It seems they are offering the RMX driver in a left handed version. Has anyone hit this driver?
  5. I have a set of these with Recoil shafts and I would never consider selling them. I am surprised that so many people have played these, and then moved onto something else.
  6. Nice idea. I am 43 years old, grew up in Georgia and now live in Indiana. I took up golf when I was in my mid twenties while in medical school in Augusta, Georgia. Now live in Indianapolis with my wife and 3 children. Love Indy, except that golf is out from November to March. My single greatest regret is not playing golf as a kid. I am a 8 index and tend to shoot 79-81 on a good day, and 82-86 on a bad day. I am trying to get my boys (14 and 12) interested in golf so we can play together.

Iomic sticky 2.3. One quick rub with a wet towel and the tackiness is unbeatable. Also easy on the hands.
  8. What course is that? It looks so beautiful, that I may have to take a golf trip there next fall.
  9. Long way from Indianapolis, but I may have to put that on the list of places to take the family. Thanks for sharing.
  10. Is this a first time pull? Are you the original owner?
  11. I figured as much. If, by some miracle, they decide to make a left handed version, let me know.
  12. Any chance they will make this head in left handed?
  13. Beautiful. Not sure that it needs the stripes

I love my 435, but I would not consider it a forgiving driver. In fact, I would consider it one of the least forgiving drivers around. When you hit it off center, you really know it. Conversely, when you hit it on the screws, nothing can touch it.
  15. I am liking the 435 more each time I hit it. I was killing it today and getting more consistent with it. My playing partners asked if it was conforming and then later on, asked again. They couldn't believe how far I was hitting it.
  16. Do any of these drivers come in left-handed ?
  17. I played 9 holes with my 435 today. Boy do I love this driver. When I am swinging well, this driver is about as good as I can swing a driver. hit it 286 yards on the first hole, and 283 yards on the second hole and 280 yards on the 9th hole. I usually only hit one ball that far out of 18 holes. Mis**ts still feel pretty bad, but I think I can live with it.
  18. Thanks that is helpful. I am not looking for a higher launching head, I like the boring trajectory of the 435.
  19. So I have a jBeam/Crazy 435 driver with a Crazy 80LS Noir shaft. It is really growing on me. I just saw the 435 II listed for lefties, and wanted to know if someone has played both and can compare the two heads. Thanks
  20. A lot of tour pros never change shafts. When they find on that works, they stick with it. Tiger, Rory, etc. if you have found a shaft that works for you, it would be crazy, and more expensive in the long run, to try anything else. Spend the bucks, get a new one under warranty, and keep blasting that ball down the fairway.
  21. I agree, 302's and Miuras will never be sold.
  22. I never tried the stock shaft with the RFX. I have a Diamana X, Fubuki K series, and GD Tour AD DI with Razr Fit adaptors, so I am working through all options. I think I will take the 435 out tomorrow and see how it goes.
  23. I have been getting used to my RFX for the past 3 weeks, so I put my 435/ 80 LS Noir 7.4 in the closet not expecting to pull it out for another month or so. Funny thing, last night I pulled it out and decided I didn't want to wait to put it back in the bag. My only hesitation is that I have been struggling with center shots off the tee so far this season, and the 435 does not handle that as well as the RFX. I have a member-member tournament tomorrow afternoon and Saturday morning, and I have to decide which driver to pull out. I am leaning towards the 435. I will let you know how it goes. I agree that there is nothing longer out there on well hit shots with the 435.
  24. I agree, if it is working that well, don't mess with it. I am still working back into swinging form, but I took my Crazy 435/ 80LS Noir 7.4 combo out the other day and hit some really good drives in tough conditions. I am currently getting used to the Callaway RFX with the Diamana X 70s and I am seeing some pretty big potential here as well. When it warms up and dries up, I will pull the 435 out and see where these drives are really ending up. I find that the sweet spot is fairly small, but when you hit it, boy does it feel hot.
  25. So I have been playing around with a few different shafts. I am liking the Crazy LS Noir 7.4 in the 435 head; great combination recommended by Tario. It did take me a while to get used to this club, but I am liking it now. I am also getting used to my new Callway RFX driver with 3 different shaft options. Love the head, pretty and compact, low spine and mid launch. I started with the Fubuki K series 60X shaft and I am a big fan of these shafts; very smooth feel. I am trying the Graphite Design Tour AD DI 70stiff and this is a bomber combination. My last shaft waiting it's turn is the Diamana X 70 stiff; I admit that I am alittle intimidated by this shaft as I worry it may be too stiff for me, from all that I have heard. I am going to leave the GD in for another week or two, before switching to the Diamana X.
