SOLD - Modart A60-G Irons w/MCI 100s Shafts (minty)
I LOVE my Modart CBC irons, so much that these won't see the time of day. Used for a round and in excellent/minty condition. Bought these through TSG and are fabulous. Using the funds for additional gear :) For those who are looking at these, you know they are pricey, so, be prepared... I paid well north of $OLD for these, so listing for $OLD net + shipping. They will come with the Modart headcovers (covers are only 5-PW though). Modart A60G 4-PW - MCI 100 Stiff - Black Modart Grips + 3 wraps - 38" #5 iron length - D2 3-9 - D3-PW - 2* upright Lie Angle

Crazy 450 Limited Driver Head
I am not going to justify anything that results in a bad sell/purchase of material here as that should be held at a high regard to keep the forum stable. In regards to folks on this board, it is easy to focus on a sale or mistake without really knowing the full extent of what is going on in their lives that might have led to this mishap. By no means should a buyer get gear they don't expect in condition that isn't expected and every effort should be made to remedy the situation as a seller. I would recommend we focus on the specifics of what happened and less on character assaults or general assumptions that can quickly get out of hand and blow up any situation. Golf, at times, can seem like life and a lot of us (including myself) have an extreme passion with the sport and its gear, but we don't necessarily know what might or might not be happening in people's lives outside of the sport and gear that could be affecting them and their actions. My .02, keep the peace & support each other.

If it performs similar to the D and with adjustability, this should be a hot driver for 2015...

Yamaha RMX Tour Model (Driver, CB, PB) Review
Thanks to Chris & TSG, I had the pleasure to demo some of Yamaha’s top 2015 offerings: the Yamaha RMX Tour Model Limited Driver, the RMX Tour Model CB and RMX Tour Model PB irons. Feel free to refer to Chris’s posts for more fancy pics, but all I can say is all 3 clubs look fantastic in person and perform even better than that. I have played a wide variety of JDM & USDM clubs over the years and this is my first time with some Yammy’s and I do have to say I am very impressed. Yamaha RMX Tour Model Limited Driver (10*, Speeder 575 Stiff Shaft, 45.25”, D1) Looks: First, this driver looks mean. I love the red/black combination, the profile is perfect, the face is a tad deep which I love and it sets up perfect to the ball. I mean, this just looks wonderful. It is somewhat a cross in looks between a Crazy 435 in size and an Epon Zero in looks (minus the sole). If a Modart D/S driver looks like a Darth Vader helmet, this is Darth Maul :) Feel: For those that have hit jbeam drivers, you know they are “springy” in their unique way. Epon has a softer feel (like the Zero, etc). Others have had more hollow feel without anything really special (to me, these would be the Kamui Pro Nitro (non-foam) & new Crazy 450). For the RMX Limited Driver, it is very SOLID feeling. You get great feedback on mis*its, center strikes feel like you pounded it. Not as soft or springy as a jBeam or Epon but definitely very solid feeling. Performance: This thing performs. For those that are in the camp for this profile, it is more of a classic tour-like profile (deeper face, more compact look at address, workability, medium launch with low spin, some forgiveness just enough to focus on performance). I found that I liked the Speeder 575 shaft. It was light but had a stiffer tip than what I am playing currently (which I liked) and it seemed to help with control with the driver. Distance was comparable to other drivers I have gamed but the adjustability combined with looks might put this above. tl;dr: this thing performs, looks great, is adjustable and has a nice compact 440cc size. Yamaha RMX Tour Model CB (7 iron, Nippon Modus3 Tour 120 stiff) My sweet spot for irons are player CBs. I love the feel, compact look, top-line, workability with a tad forgiveness. Chris had a write-up that is spot on with these. For me, they are as long as the other player CBs I have played, have a nice MB feel when hit on center strikes and have a tad (a very small tad) of forgiveness over a MB. If you are looking at these, you are probably a solid ball striker that want great feel, a tad forgiveness in workable CBs. These are special irons. They are more compact than other CBs I have seen, have a nice shaper toe (not as sharp as the OnOff 358s), a very thin topline and sole and feel fantastic. For those that want more of a MB feel, something that is more solid feeling than Epon but have similar feel to Mizzy, I think these would be up your alley. Yamaha RMX Tour Model PB (4 iron, Nippon Modus3 Tour 120 stiff) This is a perfect iron for almost every type of golfer that looks for forgiveness, performance, looks, and feel. The feel is more muted than the CB but that is due to the undercut in the cavity but that cavity is what provides the forgiveness and distance. This iron is ½ to a club longer than my current CBs (I am not aware of the lofts and if they are stronger or not). With similar irons, such as the 503, 703 with similar type of cuts, these don’t have that clicky sound to them which is great. I think they are probably more comparable to the 503s but have a tad smaller profile which is great. I can see these in a combo set with the CBs easily (PB 4 & 5, CB 6-PW). Yamaha has surely put out some great offerings for 2015, thanks to TSG for letting me demo!

Mizuno Yoro Craft MP-15 Custom Iron Pics
Nothing can take-away from the improvements lessons will bring to anyone. A key component of that though is also finding a teacher that fits with your learning style, committing to the changes, and practicing. Lessons will be what takes anyone down from a larger handicap to something medium to low. As a part of that journey, what you look for in clubs will change. It could be as basic as keeping the same clubs but adjusting lie angles and shafts as your swing changes or completely new sets/clubs as what your eye, feel and game wants over time. For some of us on this forum, we use clubs as a motivator to get better (i.e. one thing I did early on was get a very tough set of Miura Baby Blades to motivate me to strike the ball better. The clubs didn't bring the forgiveness to bring my handicap down, but the difficulty of hitting those, lessons and practicing with them did). So, my .02 would be to get lessons and decide whether you want clubs to motivate you to practice now or getting a set once your swing is more dialed in. That is up to each person. In terms of the MP-15s, they are probably more forgiving than your average player cavity back. I would suggest getting fit with a normal set of MP-15s locally to you (mainly for shaft, loft, lie, reasons), then sending to Chris and Yoro for customization :)

High Volume Low Profile
I second the Ryoma fairway woods if you are looking for a very low profile but large head. They launch fairly high off the tee but are great off the deck. I would also take a look at the Modart woods as well. Low profile but smaller volume and just as easy to launch off both tee & deck (for what it is worth, I have gamed both the Ryoma & Modart).

I love the profile as well as the look of the face. Seems to have some Zero infusion in there, just a tad more elongated in the back...
