Ian, the t.388 and the stinger are for sure an awesome combo, would make for a stellar weapon in someone's bag when faced w/ tight tracks. The face is hot, the flight is med-low and the shaft is electric, and has the nicest soft TINK when the ball rockets off the face!

Epon Zero Kai (black) - $OLD - 8+/10 condition (typical scratches on sole as black IP finishes don't hold up well to any kind of use and look worse visually, but crown/face and overall is in very good condition) - original faux croc headcover included - looks awesome! 4. SYard T.388 9.5* | Diamana Stinger 70s (2nd gen) - $350 - length: plays 43.75" - this was built as a shorty controlled bomber and it does just that as it still gets nicely out there with carry and tons of roll between this head/shaft combo...guaranteed fairway finder!! :) - 8/10 condition (clean crown and top line, usual wear on sole and face) - Perfect Pro rubber grip in good condition 5. giving up the f3 for the MUCH easier to hit new egg 15*, which translates to consistently longer. ryoma was always high for me and off the deck was a little inconsistent depending on lie. rolling the stock shaft on the egg now but may swap my fav shaft, crazy fw80, into it after some more evaluation

I can get both the black and zy up in the air no probs at 10*...it's all about your swing type but there are no launch problems for higher ball hitters

AAA kicks harder to me, and coupled with the black it has an explosive pop/crunch. the 7d is a sneaky long glassy yet electric feeling shaft IMO...all class with the 7d, feel like I should rock a bowtie with ur my next round ;)

love the black, love the zy (dare I say it) more now...and it's got a 7d control in it!! still dialing in and I'm playing it long at 46.5" but I really can't tell you how pleasant the sound of that muted thwack and the smooth electric feel of the 7d is! I didn't think something could make me leave the black AAA at home but this zy is surprising me in many ways :)

I carry blue painters tape (no sticky residue) to cover the top line/crown and sole and use oversized impact stickers on the face for stuff I'm on the fence about.

Feel you on the RS6 Avant, Mikey, have never understood why they didn't make even a limited number available as they'd sell like hotcakes! Love me Audi's and miss my RS4 dearly but I'm not the biggest fan of the RS7 exterior either. Audi's have the overall best interior, but i like the seats of a merc and the shift of a bimmer. I'd sit tight for a little bit longer and wait for something that really grabs you all around. Sitting on 2 AMG's is a good problem to have so I'm sure you cruise around town just fine ;) Porsche, Maserati, NSX or classic Ferrari doesn't do it for you??

hey R, IMO, it's actually very similar to the t.388. compact head with a soft and pleasant sounding metallic ting sound at impact. both are long but id give forgiveness to the t.388 but not by a lot (new zero Kai is much more forgiving than its predecessor) but I'd give run to the zero as its a little more low spin. 435 black is much different to me in the way it feels and sounds. louder yet awesome metallic crunch and the head feels meatier although they are all relatively close in cc size. just had a more explosive feel off the face but as a result, not quite as soft, if you will. zero Kai and 435 black are both low spin monsters. pm me if you want more specific feedback on my experiences with them ;)

what is the reason for their potential exit? profit margins are too low or top brass just getting tired and old?
