  1. I agree, no reason to change the original finish until it needs it, and then you'll have the perfect excuse to send it into golds (or some other refinisher)! if and when you do, black boron holds up great as a protective plating. i'm very impressed by how well it holds up and I play in both wet and dry conditions. take some pics to share if you do get one!
  2. I have the same head covers but oem version or something (mine look less fancy but have the same elastic sewn collar) and these things are great. nice snug fit and can surprisingly fit a lot, as my cally macdaddy pm grind head fits, albeit very tightly, and they just don't come off in the bag! they're not super thick but mine have this waffled texture that is very nice and def feels like they keep the heads safe. they're also economical enough that you can just replace once they get beat up. overall, they look good and don't come off so no reason not to try them! btw, I ordered some swiiish ones too with the fancy design cuz your's looked cooler than mine nob ;)

  22. seriously, what gives with these honmas!!? been quite a few of the different models languishing on the BST lately...they all look damn good, but are they just not that impressive as drivers? or do you have to spend a fortune on one of their handmade shafts for the head to really sing?? Chris, can you shed some light on this mystery?
