  1. RB247G feels great just different than the forged feel we all know and to sum it up this is like an iron with a hybrid face.

Me not fan of Masda grips, they are just too smooth with little lines in them for traction, sticky goes away in dry heat in about a week then you need new grips.
  3. That's what I call a Unicorn! Maybe I should ask a different way, what is the largest sized iron your willing to play based off of what you have seen in the forums here? Now I assume the Super Egg's are way to big so taking it smaller the smaller Labo RB247G, 2014 VG3, RomaRo Type-R, Honma IS-03, JPX EIII Hot metal and taking it even smaller than that but not as forgiving as Pings are the JPX EIII Forged, RMX Tour Model CB, Believer CB. I'm sorry there is no ping like forgiveness with a razor thin top line small/mid sized iron. Drop me an email if you need further help narrowing it down. If you can compare the size you want to another iron I can provide info on it's forgiveness. Lastly, the most forgiving iron for it's size that I've hit is the RB247G below:
  4. Dry and Cleaned! 370G - Notice the custom initials logo we created for Craig.C
  5. Can you tell me what your preference is in top line, offset, shape? That will help a lot because forgiveness can get pretty extreme i.e PRGR Super Egg or Titleist VG3 Type - E.
  6. The Maxima is more wild and higher. The Jbeam is similar to the trajectory of the 435 IMO.

She's a beauty Craig! How's the box it came in?? Best in the biz.

  9. The Bridgestone J715 B3 and B5 Drivers Comparison So as everyone now knows the Bridgestone has unified all of it's labels into one, the most disappointing part about all this is that they are phasing out TourStage. While this makes a lot of sense for the company the real question is how will they reach the U.S market's price point without watering everything down. Looking at the technology it's becoming evident that Endo may no longer be manufacturer, that could be a step backwards as even the older Bridgestone U.S gear was made there although dumbed down from their premium label TourStage. Whatever the case these woods sound nice and mute at impact which is evident in the videos posted below. Enjoy these comparo pics!
  10. Thanks for offering to help guys. Here is what we have in for testing and evaluation: MUSO LD Stiff MUSO XL Stiff MUSO XDB FW75 Stiff MUSO XDB FW65 Stiff MUSO XDB 65 Stiff MUSO XDB 55 Stiff MUSO HB75 Stiff
  11. Word is that some of the main TourStage players don't want to play the Bridgestone gear including balls and that includes Ai-chan. FYI all JDM to USDM crossover brands will remain in the JDM forum !
  12. I was told that Srixon has left the USDM market, is this true?
  13. We are looking for Muso testers, we have a handful of shafts to offer at a great price in exchange for the member doing a write up here in the forum.
  14. Thanks for your question, to be frank the model I like the least is the neo blade because the setup is nearly the same as the Believer CB and Adject iron so it really defeats the purpose of going blade. The Believer CB is the best seller of the bunch with adject following. Both irons are absolutely amazing in terms of feel and performance.
  15. This pic shows the lines that were removed:
  16. This putter has come a long way, Master says it feels way better and very soft with it's next Gen PZ. The ridges where completely hand ground smooth.
  17. They look great, going in the store very soon. http://golf.dunlop.co.jp/srixon/14z/index.html
  18. I like everything XXIO just said, very insightful especially about our consumer society and his observations that this is occurring in multiple industries. In regards to how Japan markets their tech if you look at JDM OEM's on youtube you will see it's very different than how it's done everywhere else, it's specific and visual with no bang! whap! wow! this is the BEST! +20yds Thanks Taylormade! This directly reflects how smart the brands think we are and that the least informed make the most purchases as a group. Below an Example Another thing I suggest is don't put much weight in the opinions of professional tour players. These guys can hit anything, they don't get to try everything, and they are paid to say nice things about their line up. As far as "real" advancements, it still happens "sometimes" in Japan, It's more about design and materials now days but I do think shafts like the MCI, designs like the Ryoma UT, uber light weight shafts starting only this year that are stable enough for faster swingers, I saw 21g prototype shafts at the golf show. Another example although not made in Japan is product like the Mizuno JPX EIII hot metal iron and how they place their weight, more design than tech really. There are new Composite Titaniums as well like Jbeam has implemented recently over DAT55. While it is at a trickle it's something. Gear has always had a lot to do about the psychological and in Japan prestige, feel and emotion also plays a part, I see it similar to the auto industry where yes you can get from point A to B in a Fiat but it's so much better in a Ferrari. PRGR is pretty ballsy and pushes the envelope, remember grip speed? it was legit just didn't gain steam.. and also ball tech is still improving at a good pace in Japan as well but we also need to remember that in the last 10 years consumers have learned to expect a lot more in both service and product and that is what really drives brands to constantly push out gimmicks so while by today's standards it seems slow, by yesterdays standards some would consider it fast.
  19. +1 TP-V is a great great shaft for the more aggressive swinger. Reliable, great distance, good feel.
  20. We had the customer ship it to Ryoma, they have it now. Unfortunately there is no single directory with serial numbers for any brand. If it's purchased from TSG it's legit, also if you have an item in question we can always ask the OEM directly.
  21. We have a new one and this one was from a good TSG customer, fake serial number and all.
  22. These are my themes, and yes I'm a Metallica Fan! And Yes thats what the back cavity says! but it's not for Metallica, this is the new Independence USA putter 2014.
  23. I think I like the Next Gen PZ on this one better than the knife milling
