+1 on Works Ray, Now gaming this driver for the past couple rounds, It's stupid long and feels really good. We have had some orders for some pretty wild customized Kamui Works Air Drivers but no pics of them. I'll shoot mine but it's not custom. Guys if you have the chance go totally custom, this is the only driver I know of where it's possible.

The New 2013 Fujikura Speeder Series 661/757
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
I've played both shafts, I liked the 661 because it's more user friendly for my swing. Both shaft's felt similar to each other outside of weight and flex, a little numb but overall got results I could rely on. For my swing habits it helped keep me in play which I find very important. If there were anything to change I think both could kick or feel more lively. I would go a flex softer in the 661 @45" and see what a smooth swing could produce. My experience of dispersion and trajectory was very similar to the crazy boron. One thing I like about the entire new series of speeder shafts is the specs and abundant selection of models, a bit more complete than most brands. below a photo I snapped at the golf show where Fuji had custom speeder shaft colors on display. -

RomaRo 2014 Chapter 2 Driving Iron
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
This is the new iBrid, It's a driving iron. There will be a new Hybrid Utility way down but really the Type-R is hard to beat. So you may not like this if you want more iron like. I think RomaRo experimenting by putting the forged cup face on a driving iron is pretty ballsy and should pay off. Did you try the Type-R UT? -
They are both CB's that overlap segments. Not too far apart. Casual golfers can adapt to both and professionals as well.
-
Not many driving irons have a forged cup face, this is the same face used in their Type-R utility wood. It's a little more hybrid than most driving irons with this type of face. I've Been itch'ing for driving irons lately in my own bag, I'm in anticipation of the RomaRo Chapter 2 but in the meantime a Honma TW has being doing excellent. Had a chance to hit the Epon 903 in Japan, its excellent but I need more forgiveness ala AF901 The Royal Collection still needs to be unboxed but looks promising as well. That's one direction, the other is Ryoma U's which I have also hit at a demo day and they are incredibly consistently long & forgiving.

Taylormade Jetspeed Japan version
TourSpecGolfer replied to craniac76's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
It is standard fare but that doesn't mean it has nothing to do with liquidating inventory levels. These brands are not producing extra woods to be given away for free. If a club is hot and it sells well there doesn't need to be this sort of incentive but if a club is moving slowly this helps. -
These look good, can't wait to see how they stack against the CB358.

Yup PM me guys, Id guess it's about 10-15lbs. It has to come in a long box or two as it has some longer parts. -

I've done the whole MOI matching thing, have had the machine since 2006. It was an interesting trial, no performance gain or lower scores as a result of it. I've got the MOI matching machine for sale $100 + shipping to anyone interested. I do see logic in how it can help one transition from set to set smoothly. -

Can someone tell me what these Fourteen Irons are?
TourSpecGolfer replied to kuyaariel's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
TC-888 which is coming after the 777 I assume. Must be undergoing testing. -
No specific reason, we also added SYB last week which totally rocks and few noticed. Mystery is another JDM brand we offer, same as all. Looks all a bit funky to me. But we have had requests so why not. We haven't hit it but when we do will be sure to take pics and review.

Me old putter, I miss it. Totally sublime just as you say.

I don't think any driver will provide +20yds but even 5-10 over the already uber long Maxima and I'll be one happy camper.
