I recommend used clubs for you. Many of the drivers in this thread can be had for killer prices used. The endless choice of drivers is a good thing for those wanting to buy others unwanted clubs. opportunity.

Amen... BUT on the flip side. Many of those who had their house in order are saving money without the expenses of vacation, restaurants, child care and large purchases. I also invite you to realize the financially savvy are either siting on the side lines, shorting, or buying at lower prices.. big boys doing credit default swaps too. Great time to reposition so don't be the guy slapping yourself for not making moves when markets return to their highs.

No with SEVEN the orders are very small because its so hard to make. This putter takes like 26 hours to make. I think that is a record for milling time on a putter although that copper tungsten plug is a good 4 more hours. The cost to produce seven full cnc irons or the vsr, arrow or neo is many multiples more than any other clubs in the game. overkill for sure but it's the only way I can nail CG's and get shapes I want. its a beautiful thing.

New KYOEI DUAL WEIGHT Irons!
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
You are one of the few who like the 2017 Kuro shape. The two years they featured that were a toss up in the history of kuro line. I liked that toe, but it was just a very big departure from the year prior. It's when shingo started influencing the Kuro that sharp toe entered. None of my designs will ever have a sharp toe simply due to visual preference. -
Plenty science in this game but does any of it make much of a difference with all the variables that take place? brands can show some type of minuscule improvement from almost anything. I don't consider the sole slot to be a deal breaker or maker when seeking a new driver.

I like how you describe the 435 - ( distance , flat and not movement king ) spot on.

KYOEI TOUR vs SEVEN ST. Very similar but they obviously use different molds. Seven ST is a hair thicker. The KK and Proto Series are more forgiving no doubt.

New KYOEI DUAL WEIGHT Irons!
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
can you elaborate on snub nose? you mean more rounded tip of toe? -
Thankfully they find us, paid full in advance and wait patiently until the product is made. People who know good shit go after it.

This driver is made by OTA, same as PXG and countless other big box names. That means little but it's something. I don't see gimmicks here. the hosel is bonded and it has a single weight. care to elaborate?

not paid, he is a moderator supporting the forum. Of course if he needs anything we would hook him up and all he need do is ask. Feel free to support anytime as well 🙂

So that completes the 2020 putter line up for SEVEN. VSR - Blade ARROW - Forgiving deeper blade with half offset NEO - Mallet with an emphasis on feel and alignment Revamping the line up was no easy task. These 3 models to me are perfection and will remain in the line up for years to come. Yesterday we launched the NEO. It's symmetrical and every spec is intentional. 2 years in the making. notice the small copper tungsten plug on the toe side of the sole? That opened us up for various necks while still maintaining the CG right down the sight line. BLOG - http://blog.tourspecgolf.com/seven-neo-putter/

This one is an excellent lower speed swingers driver. If you need lots of forgiveness, great ball speeds, feel and look plus a little more spin it's a safe choice. http://blog.tourspecgolf.com/prgr-rs-red-series/

New KYOEI DUAL WEIGHT Irons!
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Thx~! My focus on these was to create an iron in a sub-segment. Bigger than a players Cb, smaller than a mid size Cb. My inspiration was onoff kuro's from back in 2015. But I wanted just a hair more forgiveness, more distance and an updated shape, not to say that anything was wrong with the kuro's. I also wanted to target the Miura CB-301 / TC-201 type player. The customer gripes on the 301 was the size and sometimes offset which the KYOEI iron solves, the gripes on the TC-201 is it's still a players CB and while an excellent one is still demanding for some of our clients, both great irons but I believe anyone who hits these KYOEI's Dual Weighted Irons will shelve their Miura's. -
Much of their stuff has heavy offset and a thicker top line. Nothing wrong with that if that's what you are looking for. I will be posting more from their line up in coming days. had to space it out because there are so many. KYOEI has been killing it recently. They produce arguably the best forging in Japan and with all the various makers using their raw heads you can get so many variations on the shape.

Blog post is up! This driver is a tech packed stunner! http://blog.tourspecgolf.com/ryoma-maxima-ii-driver-and-ryoma-iron/

I designed this iron to fit between club designs like the Epon 305 & 505 or Miura's 201 & 301. I felt this was the sweet spot between a players CB and a semi compact iron. How will KYOEI's new Dual Weight Iron match up against Miura's TC-201 / 301? How about against Epon's 305/505? Find out how their new iron stacks up - http://blog.tourspecgolf.com/kyoei-double-weight-iron/

I have no samples in the usa, we just cut our only USA account (true spec) and now have zero dealers in NA. That's a good thing btw.. in fact everything is sold out except 1-2 sets of the new CB. More is in production but with only 6 sets a month coming in products do not hang around for very long. email me, I will see what we have in Japan to send you.

disclaimer I own and design SEVEN. So I designed the CB for feedback, shape, workability. It is not meant to be soft anywhere outside of center. WHY? because this is a cavity back that blade players can move into. What makes it that? shape of the face, cg locations are the two biggest factors. I did not aim to make an iron that was soft all over the face but rather provide a firmer feedback outside the sweet spot so you can actually tell when you hit it bad. The casual wants an iron soft all over, but those with more time obsessing over equipment long for feedback. The CB is also very workable as well thanks to it's shape. Glad you found it soft all over. Results always vary depending on who is hitting what. What is cool is that one person has qualified for their Tour Card using the latest model SEVEN CB. paid full price. MB, I can tell you that two of the worlds top 5 players have now hit these. no intention to switch because I'm not paying a dime to them. We have had PGA, EPGA tour players hit these irons. ( MB, SC, CB ). What I will say is that these are a true players blade I dont suggest it to anyone who does not have precise ball striking. I have heard +2 handicaps comment that these require skills. That said the #1 player in the world was hitting these like nothing else and without his specs. The MB is progressive dimensions, progressive CG locations, progressive hosel lengths and is full cnc milled. There is nothing technologically any big brand is doing that can be better. Thats why for now I am sticking with 1 piece forged irons is because I know I can beat anyone in this category using the combo of Japan materials, made and full CNC. There are approx. 3 dozen sets of MB's on the planet. All sold, with 6 more sets coming end of next month. 4 of those are pre-ordered. Hope u dig the info.
