Best Forged CB irons of 2011/2012
Ok I added TourStage GR to the poll. Yes fantastic irons all around. My #1 was the ONOFF Forged because it's dumb easy to hit and uber soft. The VG3's ranked a super super did I say super close #2 it's like a compromise between the 302 & ONOFF. Stevo the new VG3's are identical to the version you have but more forgiving you may like those! What I think we will find in this poll is there are those who lean toward a more player CB ala 302's Yammy's, TS 905, etc.. and those who lean toward more forgiveness ONOFF, VG3, GR, EGG Forged etc..

Yururi prototype shimadas on eBay...yum!!
I'm Chris not T..haha Or did you mean T for TourSpecGolfer? It gets confusing as we have 2 T's that work for us! Yes the owner of Yururi has no idea who this company is and the words prototype as well as the stamping did not come from him. It's either fake or they were added. He did write prototype on a raw MB 5 years ago but these are not it.

Best Forged CB irons of 2011/2012
That's exactly why the 302's will do so well. It's because they have been around for some time and many people have tried them + most people are bias toward any big purchase they make. Here's the thing this post will have thousands and thousands of views and will still be here in a few years ( just like the last one is still around ) and by then everyone will have tried everything on this list. I voted ONOFF Forged, The 302's would have ranked #4 for me.

Geotech RF700 Proto Iron
Gocchin just posted a pic of the new RF700 Neo Blade from Geotech. It's pretty unreal looking. I like that it has a slight offset and a meaty sole. Thinking about giving these a run, I know it's no where as forgiving as my game needs but I think I can work into them. http://www.golftoimpress.com/geotech-prototype-rf700-forged-review/

Wine Collection
TourSpecGolfer replied to bogeydog's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech Gearoh man just caught this thread here. I have a problem, can't collect wine because I'm eager to try it after buying it. I have an empty wine bar in my house. I think i will be collecting scotch as I can't tank that as fast.

question on endo forging
Much of the softness comes from the heat treatment used on the metal. It's called the annealing process.

Basileus Shaft Images
Just snapped a few pics of the shafts going into the Epon ZERO test heads and wanted to post them as they give a better idea of just how pretty these things are. The first 3 images are of the Basileus Fiamma 60 Stiff which is what on paper I would best fit into. 65 grams 3.6tq and designed for a mid/high trajectory for big carry. It also features a special tip section to prevent the slice and square up the clubface. The finish on these are of a very high quality. Foil 3-tone is one of the most expensive finishes you can put on a shaft. In the image below you can see just how detailed and vibrant the colors look. For some reason the lighting makes the chrome look almost gold near sun down. Here is the shaft Tatsuro would fit best the Basileus Z 70 Stiff It's 72 grams, 2.7tq in stiff flex. It's a 50T carbon shaft with a stiff tip to help prevent hooks along with a stiff butt for a stable and consistent feel. Usually tats plays an X but since Japan has noticed the best dispersion & distance gains from high quality S flex from brands like Crazy & Quadra. Compared to Crazy shafts the tip walls are just a hair thicker although noticeably thinner than Tour ADs and other more common shafts. My Fiamma doesn't have the below spiral lines near the tip. I wonder what the function of this is? Hope you enjoyed the pictures, will be testing and reviewing both shafts in the EPON ZERO soon!

- question on endo forging
Of the current line up only the TC930 Forged is.- Comparable or better than OnOff Forged irons?
I'm a big fan of the D-Steels! They are easier to hit than the ONOFF Forged but too bad they are cast and don't feel nearly as good. Two options: - Yamaha D-Forged 2012 - ONOFF Forged 2011 The Yamaha will be slightly larger and more forgiving The ONOFF better more rewarding feel if your a fan of soft.- Yururi Tour vs Raw wedges
The Tour has a bit less offset and a different sole grind that makes it easier to open the face up. The top line is slightly thiner and more rounded and the Tour doesn't have that RAW finish.- Yururi prototype shimadas on eBay...yum!!
I asked the owner what these are about. notice the epon ferrules, could be an aftermarket job but I'll get confirmation in a day. It's the same shape and identical to the normal raw blade.- Royal Collection VS Tour Driver: Info requested
Yes I think I should of said it like you ant, RC drivers besides the black series are all about the player looking to work the ball.- Royal Collection VS Tour Driver: Info requested
Many other drivers out there I could recommend over this. The Tour VS & even their newer 105 driver left a lot to be desired when we hit them. RC is cool on FW woods, UT, wedges. The Drivers they really never stacked well against the other top brands.- Nothing beats the McLaren Factory

Most of us have multiple drivers so why not own a high cor. I can only imagine what 30 yards would do to an already uber forgiving driver like the Ryoma.- Interesting pic of the AF-502
It's called Alpha Gel. Only endo has figured out how to use it. http://www.taica.co.jp/gel/alpha/index.html You can go 5 floors up and drop an egg on an inch thickness Alpha Gel and it will not break. So Sasaya opened it up an and it's a blue thick liquid. He replaced it with aluminum strips and it felt the same. He hit it empty and it felt very hollow.- PRGR 22* 9 wood $250(approx) posted!!
Hey Dale, Im gonna move this to the BST. We have been getting an increase of what's this worth questions in the JDM forum.- Nothing beats the McLaren Factory
TourSpecGolfer posted a post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearThis sucker is clean! Lexus/Toyota has the most advanced factory in the world but I think McLaren takes the cake on clean and stylish! ''- Interesting pic of the AF-502
Hey C, The 502 has gel correct? I just sent Sasaya an email asking about the color and consistency. I assume it disolved when he stripped the finish off. Without it I bet it feels tinky and hollow.- Interesting pic of the AF-502
This is a cool pic Master Sasaya shot. You guy's saw the sparkled out black/blue AF-502's he did. Yea I know it's all cosmetic except the 2 weights he put on the sole BUT take a look how he slides that stick behind the back cavity. That spacing ad's a lot of forgiveness but hinders feel. That's why some companies fill it with a gel.- Bridgestone J40 430cc vs Vrazy435II
Just because it has weights it doesn't mean its adjustable. OEM's use the weights for head weight & bias.- Akira Prototype M2 Fairway Long Term Review
None of those are new, the website just says new.- EPON Zero
- EGG Spoon....im so late to the party
Would love to see the pics. IMO it's worth modding this club up as it stays in the bag for a long time with most people. - question on endo forging
