TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearIt's really hard to say what's the best. I honestly feel that sony is one of if not the best. I have always been satisfied with sony products for a longer period of time vs Samsung. It's a bit pricey but worth it in the long run. Yes Mr.D I totally feel ya the new rates make everything look fake just as you say. Do you know if this is something that can be changed through calibration?- Gold's Factory Tiger Plus Tribute Putter
These are not limited edition, I thought up the Tiger Tribute model and it's doing very well, then Sasaya-san kicked it up a notch with the added weights.- FINALLY - DIAMANA AHINA
Good eye Goodsie! My guess was that it may be the exact same except with their new MDI tech in it. They reference it yet don't show a comparo.- FINALLY - DIAMANA AHINA
Big Thanks to Mr.D, Had no idea that this shaft existed before you posted this. I went ahead and did a write up on GTI about it and here ya go: New Diamana 'ahina Shaft Mitsubishi Rayon is set to release their all new Diamana 'ahina shaft in Japan on October 16th. The Diamana 'ahina features a similar bend profile to the original white board and utilizes the same Multi-Dimensional Interlay technology (M.D.I) as the more recent Kai'li model. The combo produces a very stable low launch low torque shaft designed for maximum stability and control. The 'ahina shaft maintains great feel via a very soft butt section and keeps its control characteristics from a stiff tip and center section. It's the natural progression after the white board and kai'li and appears to be targeting PGA Tour players or the strong amateur level golfer. The new Diamana 'ahina will be available in three weight configurations 60, 70, and 80 grams with a variety of flexes. Diamana says the lighter weigh 60 gram model is a good choice for players with a smooth tempo looking to create more head speed off the tee. The 70 and 80 gram versions will feature more stability via a stiffer tip section for the more powerful player. Above there are two charts, one showing the bend profile of the new Diamana'ahina shaft, the chart shows that of the 'ilima and kai'li the new 'ahina features the softest butt section and stiffest tip section. In other words expect great feel and a tight trajectory. The second chart shows the 'ahina starts out just as high as the 'ilima yet notice that it stay's on a flatter more stable trajectory to eventually end up the lowest of the bunch. What does 'ahina mean? The next generation Diamana 'ahina is named for a rare Hawaiian Silversword flower which grows only on Mount Haleakala. This plant, found only on the island of Maui, lives on the slopes of the dormant Haleakala volcano and is literally called 'ahinahina in Hawaiian. The Silversword is most noted for its Silver Bloom and has been considered an endangered species since 1922.- Gold's Factory Tiger Plus Tribute Putter
Master Sasaya just produced a new version of the Tiger Tribute putter named "Plus" It features heavy weights in the sole. FYI these weights are not adjustable. They just look adjustable.- Fourteen MT-28 J.SPEC III Wedge Pics!

TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearYup Kuro was awesome and prices are very solid now days, I remember when the Kuro cost a fortune. I have some experience with it, For me that TV was all about the quality of black right out of the box. I wanted to match the Kuro's black on my samsung LCD and succeeded with a couple rounds of calibration from a geek squad friend that had the software and hardware to do so. IMO what really puts the latest TV's out front is the refresh rate, almost makes blue ray look so real it appears fake if that makes sense. Another feature is how thin the TV's are now and the 3-D features. Also its really tuff to rate TV's based on what you see at best buy or fry's as the standard settings are cranked up for brightness, contrast, and sharpness. In the end I really suggest calibration as it improves black's big time and your TV will use much less energy and extend its lifetime.- Sony KDL-60LX900 LCD TV

Have you guy's seen the new VS Fairway wood by Royal Collection that Gocchin posted on GTI? Another thing is now days foundries like Endo are putting serial numbers inside of the head or even under the plating for irons and wedges. They do this so the numbers can't be tampered with or counterfeited.- epon Wedges
Thank's spoon, I agree the 210 is more forgiving than the 208KGX model. I consider the spin to be average compared to the other conforming wedges on the market. - Brabus S600 Goes High Tech!
