Compared to the KGX210 Wedge and without bias the seven hills wedges are softer and more straight forward to use. I still find the KGX210 wedge to be a little bit hard to hit when comparing to others on the market. The KGX210 has about the same amount of spin while its new rule conforming vs the Seven Hills wedge being non conforming grooves. I would sum up the SH wedge as very soft and good for players seeking a more narrow sole and the ability to open the face with stability in face direction.

The KBS are awesome shafts. It's one of my favorite aftermarket shafts in steel. Combo that with 302's and you have got a winner!

I'm using the Nowon expert grips in black these days. It's a pretty good grip not as soft as the other nowons, it seems to have less torsional twisting.

It's very similar to the flat back. A 2010 model of the flat back is coming out soon. I'm not sure to the exact differences but this one is based on the new model.

Hi Adam, I've been fit on the trackman and other devices multiple times. In my opinion trackman is more about finding very accurate ball flight, swing speed, distance etc.. information. The fitting will still rely on the fitter and also rely heavily on what clubs they have for you to hit. You can have an average fitting specialist with all the best fancy equipment and get still a poor fitting.

Hi Biff, If you meant the Tour wedges, they may dig on bad angle shots, its a wedge designed for players so it's got the ability to pick. If you mean the RuPaS then those are very hard to make dig, designed with a wider sole and a rounded leading edge it compensates a little better during bad shots.

Try the Yururi Rupas for max spin + conforming.

I see Yamaha as the Titleist of JDM golf gear, they tend to use traditional shapes and designs yet kick it up with technology like Octaface V which breaks down the inside of the club heads face into various thicknesses providing attributes like enhancing forgiveness and improved feel. The 2010 new V & D series drivers also have a new Forged Titanium face which provides lower spin and more run. The V201 is a good choice as it's looks player yet maintains a 460cc head size. I wouldn't hesitate to consider the D series as well for those who have a bit of an issue going right or swing smooth. The V is still considered a driver for the faster swinger but by Japan's definition of "faster" many American golfers would be able to handle the V. Not many people have adopted Yamaha drivers, IMO it's very underrated and is one of the best Japan has to offer.

Hi jer, Yup Rupas is conforming but designed to maintain nearly the same amount of spin as pre 2010 grooves. It's a bit funky looking but its very easy to hit (especially from the bunker) and it's based on the old Football Jersey logo'd Seida wedge.

Here's a little update after a few more rounds. The EGG makes me cocky on the course! I feel so confident yes even so with the stock shaft that i begin over swinging trying muscle everything because its so forgiving. Well last weekend I hit a point where I was swinging so hard my contact was poop. Im going to need to back off now until i get my Crazy FW80 installed. The 13* Egg Spoon is longer than my driver by 10 yds. It's also easier to hit!

I agree man, I was talking about not caring much for the standard 202 not the HT. The HT is pretty solid, good feel and more forgiving than most Fairways on the market. To put it bluntly and as Spoon said, leave the #3 to the HT not the standard version. The standard version is much easier to hit in #5 and #7 though. I suggest it with a DI-7 shaft, very good combo.

Hi Jim, This is what I suggest: 1. Epon AF-302 2. TourStage 703 Limited ( could be sold out ) 3. PRGR GN502 Tour Forged 4. Fourteen 910 5. TM R9 Forged 6. TM Burner TP These are all players CB's. If your striking is a strong point you should do fine with them.

Maybe Gocchin can chime in, he has a lot of experience and knowledge with the Crazy & Quadra shaft profiles.

Thanks for your honest review. It's sad but I sorta agree with you on the Epon, The 202 ranks outside of my top 5 for sure maybe even my top 10. Yup RC does make a good product, not exactly long or forgiving but good feeling, consistent performance. and decent attributes make it very appealing.
