Personally I'd take the 983K over the R7 any day doesnt matter if both had terrible shafts. I've hit a few different shafts in the R7 and I just can't hit that stupid thing. Amen, this kids got a 117mph swing speed and a + handicap yet he could not hit Tourspecgirl's R7 M.A.X / W60 combo in stiff. There wont be a TM Driver in his hands any time soon & thats for sure.

Never ever seen such a stamping on any Mizuno Irons. Wouldn't exposing the copper create a problem for rust in the future? Its interesting that this set has stampings on its neck & ferrule.

Dont you think most 460cc drivers on the market are geared toward the slower swinger? not many square or open face low lofted ones out.

To be honest, I'm not sure if Mizuno U.S has the ability to create their own Custom Tour clubs.. As far as I know they order through the factory in Japan for their tour players or pick them a consistent OTR set that is close to specs or weighted as they require. In fact, the pros in Japan have huge offset MP33's fat top line MP-33's All kinds of custom MP series clubs where as the U.S & Euro pro's play chrome retail looking models no Y or T stamps that look exactly like the OTR's. I wonder what Mizuno U.S would say to a Mizuno staff PGA pro if they requested Satin M stamp MP-32's with X-14 like offset and a thicker top line? My guess is he would end up playing a perfectly weighted OTR chrome set of 32's from the U.S stock pile. I have seen zero Mizuno PGA staffers with anything totally custom on the U.S tour, where as the majority of JPGA players under mizuno have exactly what they want. Same goes for Tourstage, The top staff pro's have XCB's forged and hand done in Himeji instead of Endo with multiple offset and top line options. I too have seen many Tour sets of Mizuno Irons. Only the Tour Issue in Japan or the Custom's have the Y or T stamps. i am not exactly sure why but I guess that is because they build them for the players instead of hand picking retail heads. Thats just my opinion.

Yup High C.O.R of course, There are only two 460cc drivers I am considering the F2 Fusion Tour and the Nike DFI. I'm gonna go ahead and order one of these for me, Looks good has a march release date, Shingo and another are using these and they seem to be hitting them well. The 9.5 model should be square and they got two pretty good shaft options. The Japan blue G and the Nike Diamana. I'm just happy to see that this isn't another driver for the slow swinger like most 460's tend to be.

The ViQ Model -II has been rated the best mallet in Japan of the late 2004 and early 2005 products. They are very inexpensive and feel very soft, I would say they weigh just below 350g's.

I think you used to own the W60 in your Synergy DEEP right? That shaft is only 60g's, the lightest Tour AD shaft on the market currently.

Yeah sure I sell them, Maru's version is about 360.00 each. They are extremely expensive the ones he wears.

I have hit everything you mentioned. I suggest the TM TP driving Iron over all of those choices. Ask around they rock and don't cost an arm and leg. Also GD has a Driving Iron being released in Late Feb - Early March. Expect that one to be extremely easy to hit.
