  1. The new Scratch Stuff is made in Japan and may I add made very well  . JDM= Japanese Domestic Market
  2. Ill let the pictures do the talking... Here are pics that Shreveport supplied: Satin Scratch CB's!!!
  3. No these are not considered blueprinted and I have never seen a custom OEM do somthing like that. Blueprinting takes a while to do properly and not every club builder can do it.
  4. they were released Feb. 16th. I will be adding them to the catalog soon.
  5. All three Irons are played on the JPGA tour a lot. They are JDM so we would never see U.S players using them although Euro tour has a bunch of PRGR staffers. Superior in build to say the least. Ask any " real " club maker what happens when you take Japanese steel, Japanese grind work, finish, assembly and quality control all done in Japan compared to mass produced sets in China who push out factory quotas to make $$$ before considering quality and pride in their craft. A sensitive club maker can tell exactly how good the quality metal is via his hands when bending forged steel. A great example for any club maker is to bend the 2005TP's vs any of the above mentioned irons. both are forged but its obvious the 05TP's are made of a low quality forging in comparison. now will they work for you?? who knows, pick something that pleases your eye and mind.
  6. It will come, just be patient. Titleist changes very slowly.
  7. They come with bounce of 6, 10, and 14. TR02/TR03 There are 4 versions the sweeper versions are the TR02/03 TR Wedge series and the steeper/picker swing spec is the TR02/03 I will post real pics on Wednesday.
  8. Darn! these sound so great, How come when i hit them i dont get +15yds? :wah:
  9. Amen! Thats why I'm happy TSG has the best experienced club makers like Joe Kwok and Shreveport. Only the best for you guys :beer2: I totally hear what you are saying Taipanli, I was spoiled in Japan where the club makers all worked with foamed heads, built their own custom tools and most importantly YEARS of Experience, I'm talking 15-20+ years kinda experience. You really know when a club maker is a guru when they can do it all from start to finish, grind raw heads to perfection by hand, stamp clean letters, blue print, sandblast, fitting, advice etc.. etc.. The best is when the can do Custom Mods. When i was the states i noticed guys picking it up for side cash after they retire, kids with a year or two under their belt, no training or apprenticeship working on customers clubs. We all gotta start somewhere but not with a customers clubs. I need a club maker who has hit almost every shaft/club I need a club maker who can do any request I need one who has the skills to work with Japanese clubs Obsessed with perfection and balance he must have the most critical eye of anyone around here. He must must have over 10+ years experience in active high end crafting.
  10. Roberto, How are you gonna rat glue the 970? Take a look inside...you cant, its foamed :-D That is why the 970 and PT feel so good.
  11. psk114, Did you read the B/S/T rules? This B/S/T is for the everyday golf Ho, not the store trying to increase sales through forums, please take care of our members and treat them with Patience and respect. * No businesses are allowed to sell in the B/S/T without first contacting me for approval. ( this goes for anyone in the golf industry ) PM me ASAP.
  12. Great Question, Does anyone have an Idea? I would like to know myself.
  13. Im the Evolve Distributor, and own a Car shop, I am pals with the head Tech here at Volvo Hawaii. its not coincidental trust me. If the tech employees can admit to me over a beer that Volvo's have more problems than most cars even Jaguar, I believe it. When a mechanic cant turn off little things on his own i.e airbags, day lights, seat belt sound, its almost a Volvo monopoly on service. I did have bad luck in the cars I have picked but its not far from what many others are experiencing.
  14. It was measured using US spec Titleist Drivers in Japan at Eboomer in Tokyo. The highest loft we had on a 9.5 was 11.? the unit of measure is in degree's of loft of the 20+ drivers we tested lofts were consistently over 10 degrees. none were within .2 of its stated loft. This is old news and I think common knowledge to many " in the know" club makers.
  15. Ari's Vacation is over, TSG couldn't live without the great clubs of Scratch Golf so guess who's back! Welcome Back Scratch Golf :scratch1:
  16. Here we go, This is Euro Ford, they are nothing like USA Ford, they use different motors designs and manufacturers. This new 2006 Focus ST shares the upcoming Volvo C30's chassis as well as the current S40's motor. This is good news for Volvo Aftermarket Enthusiasts.
  17. Titleist..... just my 2 cents. They have terrible quality control of 20 tested 9.5 983k's none were within .2 of the proper specs. This goes for Irons as well, its so bad its ridiculous. They make conservative quality product nothing fancy or out of the ordinary, they always stay where its safe and where there is no market risk. Its working, people are loving it. Of course they are its all proven stuff Titleist knows already works.
  18. Guys Im done with Volvo forever...lol To many problems, We have 1 S40 with 3000 miles on it that has been in the shop over 4 times and another 05 S40 that even the Volvo techs cant even work on. My pal has an S60R 2005 took 1600 miles before they found it was a lemon. The new volvo's have over 10 computers in them, your check engine light will go on much much more when you have this kind of technical stuff involved. Volvo is sad, The head tech cant even turn off the annoying seat belt alarm or the running day lights without an upgrade download from the factory which they wont release for safety reasons. I go through cars a little slower than clubs but Im the same critical me over the smallest things and I can tell you Volvo is nor a luxury car or performance car and I own 2 05's. If your gonna go SUV go with the FX45 by Infinity. just my 2 cents because i know how Volvo's work.
  19. Yeah you paid some steep prices. Next time just PM me, ill beat any shops price there for you and have it 1 day Takubin to your door step. Great selection on shaft, you got style! Are you going to the show? PM me.
  20. Would that be same as the R5 recently released on PGA tour with adjustable weights? Looks like it doesnt it?
  21. Amen, They are big bucks :money: The American market is slowly getting more expensive since the R7TP, 05TP's, the upcoming X-Tours etc.. and those are all China made. They have to pay Phil some how. Miura N.A & Bridgestone are also on the higher end of the U.S spectrum nearing the 1000.00 mark. The new R7-XR 20% bigger, more forgiving, Japan limitation. Its not a Quad because it only has two places for weight screws. It comes with 2 weights 1x 2g and 1x 12g. The Fairway wood is adjustable also
  22. Would that be same as the R5 recently released on PGA tour with adjustable weights? I have not seen that model or even a Pic, I would love to though if you can hunt em down. The XR-Series is most often very different and ahead of the curve. The R7 IMO was based off of the XR03/05 in Feel, design and style. If they are using Ti faced Irons and a Full Ti FW head I'm guessing the driver is all out as well. XR series is always crazy XR05 Special Edition, XR05 Cti, XR05 Monza, Irons etc...
  23. Japan Only! Coming out soon is the new R7-XR Its a 440cc Driver that will be launched at the 2005 Golf fair in Tokyo. There is also a womans version at 380cc. Also a New Fairwaywood that is made entirely of Titanium and a new set of Irons with the Ti- Face. Let me know when you guys are ready for pics...
