Tourstage Synergy Driver & Irons.. Also the Viq putter series..
-
Yes it does...lol It is 775.00 shipped with your choice of any GD shaft. If you need any of these products ANY just drop me an E-mail or PM please.
-
I have hit the X-tours they are 100% forged but don't exactly feel like an MP series or Scratch Cb's. Hmm what to compare them to? IMO Hiro Matsumoto's with a larger profile. It will be released April 1st just like the U.S version and the Japan only M-10DB Memphis shaft is considered SR flex at 112g's each and 1.9 torque. It should flex stiffer than the S flex NS950. these will run 1180.00 3-PW when released, also available 5-PW and they also have #2 irons.

Gauge Japan 2005 Tokyo Golf Fair!
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
I dont know where you see a floating face on any of these putters? But this may answer your question... Release is Mid March, Im not sure exactly the price on these should be around 200.00's the stock shaft options are endless. I suggest the UT-85 by graphite design. different prices for different shafts. -
I hit it love it, too many clubs I have hit in such a little time leaves me unsure about which one to purchase. DFI comes with your choice of an Ignite-G at 65g's 3.2 torque and also an Ignite +DFI by Diamana that is 48g's 4.5 torque. The price will be in the high 700's.

New Gauge Design Putters Info now available on their website
TourSpecGolfer replied to TTLam's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
No Tour Issues coming out anymore. Gauge is keeping Tour Issue for Touring Pro's. Will I be able to get one? Maybe Yes but i will sell it for about 2k. when making putters for pros only 2-3 are made, one for the pro, one for the manager as a backup and the third which is only sometimes for the company. Gauge is going to keep the Tous Issue dept real and create a limited edition series for the public. Im holding off on giving you guys the gauge scoop till tommorow or maybe a day after. here is a teaser for now... -
2005 Royal Collection.....collection
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
You can try negotiating a better deal with them. The irons only have custom shaft options. -
Royal Collection had a huge booth at the Golf Fair. They were showing off their new CB's, new FW, and the new adjustable conforming Driver. These Irons have been over a year in the making. Some of you may remember the pics from the 2004 show when these were still in proto mode. I asked RC the question about how heads are leaking into the U.S and they know about this problem and told me it is because their factory in China discounts flawed product against their wishes. They said there is no Tour Issue RC's only prototypes and retails with different weights and face angles also I was told there are many defects on ebay. RC doesn't sell heads only. Only to Sonartec and in the Sonartec name. I also found out somthing very interesting in regards to Sonartec vs RC. they are made with the same materials but the Sonartecs are more closed than the RC's, they said this is due to the grass in the U.S being harder to hit from and thicker. I was able to hit the RC driver, I could be getting one. Im not usually a big fan of RC but this driver feels wickedly solid at impact and flys hot, even the US spec model. I dont need to adjust the weights at all I love it just the way it is. BTW TSG is in there with RC now and can request custom face angles. It takes time and costs closer to retail, but just another perk of being a TSG member.

Do you mind High C.O.R? The release date is in late March. The shaft options are the Graphite Design Shafts, they also have a nike DFI blue G and a stock shaft.
-
Yes its high C.O.R and it will be priced along the same lines as most other Japanese drivers. Throw in the GD shaft and its getting close to 800 bucks. Yes they are Forged by Endo Thailand.
-
Wow! Congrats, Chris. :D So I could order MP-27s with no offset, square toe, trailing edge & heel relief, mill marks, heavy heads, and new nickle finish with no stamps?!?!..... You have great taste! and yes it can be done. Im not 100% sure but it does looks like it. Only the MP Series can be customized.

Great news guys, Mizuno Japan has been on TSG for over a year. I just found out they monitor our site ever since i started pushing their equipment and they were very thankfull and supportive. What does this mean for TSG'ers. We are now able to offer more custom options due to our relashionship with mizuno now. Try these on for size: - Custom Offset - Custom Topline - Custom Grind and Bounce - CNC milling marks on the face of Irons - Square toe, Shallow face etc etc etc... - New Nickel Finish They love TSG and I am very Thankful they will allow me to kick things up a notch offering you guys the ultimate custom experience. These new Custom Mizunos will take 6 weeks instead of 4 and cost 250.00 more than the normal custom edition. I also now have the ability to order Mizuno Japan drivers at any face angle.

Many people from Tourstage Japan have seen the satin maru's because I e-mailed it to pro support and I guess they showed the staff. Congrats to J.K for that once again. Hmm whats new... well they are all made in Endo Thailand as we already know. I was also told they are cracking down on U.S reps selling any Japanese products. I asked them what is the difference between the J33 vs the X-drive and they told me completely different material but made in the same factory but different process. I asked them where the Tour Issue irons are made and they said Endo Thailand. I asked if Bridgestone and Tourstage are made in the same factory and the answer was Yes. I also asked why they keep better technology for the Japanese market and they said cost is to low in america. I also asked about a new MR-23 line and was told there are no plans for that yet. When asking if Maru will switch clubs they said he he only switched bag, headcovers and hats. everything will always stay tourstage for him. I saw 2 very cool drivers at the show from Tourstage the X-Drive 1000cc and ViQ 1000cc....lol :surprize: they will never be made retail of course. The X-Drive was 588g's and Maruyama was upset because he could only hit it 188 yards  1000cc's!!!!! The ViQ Irons were a big hit, it features a progressive weighting system to help make long irons forgiving, it had a small compact topline with just a touch of offset, i was extremely impressed with how good they felt. Hmmm what else was there....oh yeah 2005 X-Blades!! Coming late April they are using a new forging process on these. Sorry for the bad pics they were locked up and only one club was at the show.

There is somthing going on with Fuji Japan. almost all the companies at the golf fair would not offer Fujikura as a shaft option, the majority of the big names only offer Graphite Design and when I ask why they said because its the best shaft on the market. This goes for Tourstage, Crews, Fourteen, Callaway etc.. Also Fujikura says there will be no price drop in the future dispite current rumors. I wonder what is going on :-D They wouldnt tell me.
-
Lets start with this... The Japanese version is the same as the U.S spec except for the color scheme inside the cavity as well as the location of assembly and the available shaft options. 2005 Memphis shafts are now available with the Japanese version! ERC HOT 460cc Driver...Callaway claims its the hottest driver ever made. there is a pro spec series also but still only in high C.O.R. that one is available in 8 & 9* lofts with your choice of GD W60-GD M-65 and Diamana63...notice no more Fuji options... 2005 I-Trax I was able to ask questions to the Chairman and also the VP of Callaway golf U.S/Japan and he told me that currently there is no plans to release the FT2 or FT3 as of yet. I was told that the Tour Issue X-Tours rarely have 3 sets that are the same, they are made by Endo Thailand and when a tour issue set is ordered it is made to fit exactly what the player requests. He also said that they are the same material just topline, offset, bounce and weight is chaged for Tour use. He said all the talk of them being different materials is mumbo jumbo.
-
Nike had a huge booth this year as usual, they were giving out free balls and prizes all weekend long. I confirmed that Nike clubs are made by Endo Thailand same company as Tourstage, Callaway, and Titleist. Now that doesnt mean they are the same steel or feature the same qualities, each company does different things with their material and process. There is the Nike DFI driver, when asked why it wont be released in the USA they said there is only so much you can do with a 500.00 driver compared to a 1000.00 club. They also had the Pro combo with Titanium face and SV wedges in black and Satin. Look forard to the Video coming this week for more Nike info...

I had a wonderfull conversation with both high ups at Fujikura Japan and Fuji U.S. I first asked where their products were made, and they told me they are made in Japan. I then asked why Japan has so many more Fuji's than the U.S and why do they get them so much earlier... Fuji U.S responded, because its just too expensive to have that many options in the U.S market and most of it may not sell. I asked why Japan doesnt know about the Tour Issue shafts when they are the makers.. They said the tour shafts are requests done for that particular pro person. a few are made at the factory in Japan and sent to the pro for testing. The pro later gives it away or sells it and that person leaks them to the market. There is also another way U.S accounts get Tour Shafts, for example if the 757 model is out of stock and the account really needs one they sometimes send them a 771 or anything around the 757's specs that is similar that can ship out faster because its in stock. I asked about new models being released to the Japanese Market.. There is the speeder line, the Z-com line and now the Rombax line. It is the Triax material in a Rhombazoid ( spelling ) pattern creating a tighter form. A model for both Irons(9E05) and woods(7V05) will be available in april. When Asked what can TSG do to help Fujikura they said please raise your price. The New Japanese Speeder line has also seen some adjustments and new shafts.. Speeder 474 46g, 4.0 Torque Speeder 573 56g 4.1 Torque Speeder 675 65g 4.0 Torque The newest of the Z-com... Z-COM MW64, 66g 3.2 Torque Z-COM BW44 46g 5.7 Torque Z-COM BW55 56g 4.6 Torque Z-COM BW65 67g 3.3 Torque

Can orders from catalog be customized and spined, etc?
TourSpecGolfer replied to hooker2003's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Sorry, Your gonna have to take it to a club maker to get that done.
