Inpres 350V Inpres V Pro Irons

I thought you guys would get a kick out of this. :surprize:
-
how come you want a thicker top line. If i had a choice it would definitely be as thin i could get it without affecting the performance. Just thought i ask what the reason is behind your asthetic choices. Everything else sounds good to me. Custom set of 32s with al the grinds i wanted would be sick. I feel like im on the JPGA with all the customization i can get on these mizzys. Gotta start checking between the couch cushions so i can buy another set of custom mizzys. Thicker top line gives me confidence, as it should its a natural sensation when looking down at a club.

Fourteen at the 2005 Japan Golf Fair!
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Thats not true, perhaps that was true a year ago but not anymore. Wedge companies come in and out, MOZ had the #1 count in 1999. Fourteen in 03 or 04 ( not sure ) and now from what I hear its the Tourstage X-Wedges. Yeah not many know of Zodia in Japan not many stores carry them. -
I dont have any pics, Just video footage coming soon of the new Craz-E.
-
The Hiro Catamaran was decent, now in 05 Hiro has a new version with a smaller head, different shaft mount location and this model works very well for neo mallet lovers. They also have 2 drivers, a 375cc version and 450cc version 9* is degree open face angle while 10* is square and 11* is closed.

Sorry about the whole non conforming deal. You guys will have to wait a year or so before Japan only makes conforming clubs. Perhaps the non conforming models will become rare? :-D

Any of the MP Series Irons can be fully customized through TSG. The standard price of the custom Mizunos were 1250.00. With the grinding option they go for 1499.00 Shipped 3-PW with all requests taken care of. This is a great deal because you can have an extremely rare set of mizunos pretty much built to your liking in any finish. I'm going with MP27's or 32's with a thicker top line, almost zero offset, and a deeper face, deeper cavity, and a slightly flatter sole not to mention a rounded leading edge.

its released mid march, I hit this one and it felt amazing it sets up compact and very pear like. I wonder why they wont release this puppy in the U.S? It did have the ugly half moon on the crown..:(

Fourteen at the 2005 Japan Golf Fair!

Busy is right! Subtle Milling marks ( more for feel than spin ) -
IMO Rombax sounds like it could work, Triax weave sounds more stable in the Rhombazoid pattern.

2005 Royal Collection.....collection
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Them rumors are wrong, I was told its all made in China, I am told RC has a huge problem with Non authorized heads shipping to the U.S from the factory. Its the growing trend recently... :wah: When I asked about the heads on ebay they said the only company that gets heads only is sonartec and if there are brand new heads only of RC its not authentic, they said they make no Tour Issue FW's its all retail spec'd out for the pro's so be careful of anyone who tells you they got a Tour BBD head for sale. Video coming soon sir.... but here are some pics to hold you over: -
Ill beat anyones price. Besides U.S dealers are not allowed to sell the shafts alone.

The UX2 is for sale already Sir!

TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
The proto was not ready for production by the time of the Fair. Check out this pic i snagged for you guys, Its just the basic mold of one, i hear it will be more rounded than this for sure with milling marks and a medallion inside the cavity area. This proto not even made of steel its some kind of plastic. -
Gauge Japan 2005 Tokyo Golf Fair!
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
There is also a new GAS1 Forged Wedge that features the bottom 4 score lines CNC milled deep and sharp, that one actually put more spin on the ball for me than the 4th Anniversary did. I haven't come to a personal verdict yet about milling marks on wedges & Irons. They feel soft at impact and provide a lot of spin, they chew up balls though and make bump and runs difficult to judge. On Irons they effect the amount of roll IMO. I personally prefer no milling marks on the faces of my wedges, I'm still not sure if this is just a trend or not. I also learned about putter distance, some putters are longer than others and gauge is claiming to have extremely long putters this year. basically the ball will go further with a shorter stroke. -
I was able to swing it but not hit a ball. It felt like 3 golf clubs the head was so heavy the X flex shaft felt like an R.

Taylormade was very kind to TSG this year giving us top tour / design contacts to help clear up the mess and confusion someone has created :o I spoke with Mr. Sean Toulon Vice President & General Manager of the Taylormade-Adidas golf company, he was very helpful and totally recognized the website when I mentioned TSG. I asked why Japan gets their product first and it always has more technology and better options... the reason i was given was you can do so much more with a 1000.00 driver than one that only costs half that amount. When I asked what their goal was with all this Tour Issue equipment on the market i was told there is no goal, and this stuff is leaking from the PGA tour but soon will slow due to a change in the way players are on contract as well as less tour stuff is given out than a year ago. He also said the R7 allows them to make less Tour Issue equipment due to its adjustable weighting. I asked about Fake non authorized TM Tour equipment coming out of China in bulk and he said its uncontrollable and they don't have the ability to stop it because it can be coming from a number of inside sources including employees in China. This is the case for many companies made in china, so far IMO only Mizuno and Callaway have taken big stops to prevent it. I was also told that authentic Tour Issue equipment has been sold in bulk a handful of times to several shops but that doesn't account for even half of the stuff floating around. I was also told about several large orders and an entire Container that was stolen or lost filled with Tour Issue equipment and other TM products. That still doesn't account for the amount of Tour Issue product on the market and also all the clubs given to Tour reps doesn't add up to what is floating around on the market. The problem seems to be at the Factory in China and employees of the factories making side cash and the only way to stop it is to manufacturer in the USA which is virtually impossible. They did express displeasure with BSG because Todd is saying the TP line is different than the Tour Issue and that Tour stuff is Superior which is not the case. I had them swear that the TP line is exactly the same as the Tour even face material the only differences could be the rat glue, foam, different weighting and face angles done in the tour van. For those of you who bought a Tour R7 over the TP....Im sorry there is no one higher in the company I can ask than the Pres, VP, and head designer and I was told that its 100% the same. Someone has been taking us for a ride. I also asked why they don't use Miura anymore for their forgings and was told Miura is way to small to handle the orders Taylormade requests and that currently ZERO TM irons even Tour Issues are made by Mirua. I could have sworn I read otherwise on another forum :-) The new 440cc R7-XR is not the Prototype Dual adjustable that Michelle Wie is playing. It is a totally different in shape and is made with different face materials. I learned that all the Japanese TM drivers have SP700 faces while the U.S specs don't. This is due to the fact that SP700 can be made much hotter and that Japan needs this due to its .86 C.O.R regulations. When I asked what can Tourspecgolf do to help Taylormade, they said if we could spread the truth about Tour Issue equipment because to many untrue lies are floating around and people are getting burned. They put me in contact with the Head designer and guy in charge of the Tour reps so that I can have better information and help them clear up the confusion. Look forward to a very interesting update. Hope you enjoyed the info. R7 FW....yes its adjustable! R7-XR ladies R7-XR Series R360 series!

Mizuno can do this because they have the experienced crafter's and all their clubs are manufactured in japan at the factory the clubs are ordered from. This is not something any Japan mizuno account can do. It has taken me 2 years to get to this point in TSG's relationship with Mizuno. Here are some pics of the UX2.. IMO the best hybrid wood available.
