I am American and,... Quality is better in Japan hands down. If you cant tell, wow :surprize: Manufacturing: Many Military grade Materials and non compliant EPA regulated Chemicals are illegal in the United States. U.S plating companies cant provide as "quality" finishes like Satin, Chrome etc. The Chemicals are said to cause cancer. The best forged golf head is found in Japan. please if you could just show me of some better U.S forged heads....please. Japanese forged steel is the best in the world, its a process they have been doing hundreds of years. Craftsmanship: They Apprentice for years in their trade, they work longer hours than we do and very meticulously with so much pride. This trickles into every industry, electronics, cars and parts, Innovation etc.. Hand grinding is a respected trade where as the U.S OEMS out source to other parts of Asia where they use pitted steel and the non golfing, little experience, lower paid hand grinding staff that has an output of about 4000 sets a month compared to Japans very limited output. Americans don't even build the OEMS equipment its almost all made in China, Thailand, etc so how can we really compare? Technology: Sometimes it takes innovation 4 years to get the U.S, not because its junk but because the American customer is more bargain oriented. you can do so much more with 500.00 production cost vs 200.00. More internal weighting designs, more technical options to choose from. Japanese R&D is intense and they are just a high tech sorta people. If you can give us some examples of American made clubs or foundries I could better help you compare and understand why the Quality of Material, Craftsmanship, QC, and finish is better made in Japan. BTW China and Taiwan make the best drivers IMO. Anyway guys, I get to hit both U.S clubs and Japanese, Honestly no BS this stuff is better all around, thats why I fell in love with it and that is why I made this place. I too wish it was much cheaper but my prices are not too far off what the U.S Oem Chinese made clubs are going for in the recent. Its not the Arrow, I know, but you do get what you pay for....the best. :nos**t:

Someone please give me the password. :wah: -
FAQ just ordered one, I have 2 on order myself with my custom grind mizzys. I hit them at a demo spree near Tokyo and it was basically a better feeling easier to hit Mizuno CLK. This version has the rail in the sole and 17g's of tungsten weighting located inside the head. I custom ordered mine with NS-1150 Tour stiff and it will be a while before i get it. We have exactly 7 other lurking members that have purchased this club. Let hope some come out to share.

Anyone play the GD Tour AD W-70 shaft
TourSpecGolfer replied to fairwayfinder's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Yes Wie and many of Hawaii's best play Axiv. IMO the CP-02 is a tad more demanding than the W70, expect easier to hit. -
Ouch!!! that's totally nasty !!! Good thing you're not qualify for the prizes, right Chris? I am not in the running but if the winners wedge doesn't surpass mine they don't get the 2nd wedge free from scratch. Tomorrow I will start the voting thread.

Anyone play the GD Tour AD W-70 shaft
TourSpecGolfer replied to fairwayfinder's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Great 70g shaft, very easy to get good results with. If you like that weight and a medium torque range you will be very happy. I went with the W60 after trying the W70, they are both very forgiving its just the 60g range is more for me. There are many JPGA male amateurs using the W70 shaft in X, on the JLJPGA the W60 in S is most popular, for juniors the same. Top shafts for drivers IMO: - Axiv 6064M - 6564M - Diamana Stinger Limited - Tourstage Stock shaft TXD-70 ( same as the stinger - not many know) - Graphite Design M65 - Graphite Design W60 - Graphite Design PM702 J-Spec - Graphite Design W70 Axiv Baby! OK here it is... my last effort before the contest ends :smile1:

I have had my PSP for over a month now. it was 170.00 in Japan :surprize: Most of my toys i buy and put them aside in a week or two but i have actually incorporated the PSP more into my life than a laptop. they have the #1 golf game IMO that smokes TW05, game is called everyone lets golf ( in Japanese ). I play 9-18 holes every morning on the toilet, when waiting for TS girl at the salon, shopping, or appointments it speeds the wait. I keep my Music on it, bye bye Ipod and I'm currently trying to figure out how exactly to write movies on UMD's :-D I don't play games much but still found the PSP very useful, hands down the best portable on the market. loading time is on average 15sec once per game and graphics are better than a PS2.

The 1.50 is a fee in the B/S/T that you pay when you wanna sell your stuff :smile1: Its good to pay sometimes and Its all coming back to you guys with improvements to the site. :smile1: - TSG Profiles - TSG Members - TSG v.2 theme - TSG Gallery etc etc.. its secondary perk could be it fixed our B/S/T that was becoming a mess, a place for people to complain about others and many profit sellers were doing sales on the site with no respect to our sponsors or myself.

Congrats! This set has made the Featured Bag of the Month!

Japans New #1 Female Golfer?
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
My point is the better player should get the exemptions not the prettier one. Isn't Fudoh your favorite player Tai? -
When former men's world number one Tiger Woods triumphed at the Dunlop Phoenix tournament in Japan last November, Miyazato was winning a Japan LPGA title. The two events went head-to-head on Japanese television, and Miyazato's victory dwarfed the ratings achieved by Woods. Miyazato is not actually rated as Japans #1, Yuri Fudoh is She is the champion of her tour #1 four years straight her 10 victories in 2003 and 30 Tour wins total dominating the Japan LPGA yet receives not nearly half the amount of exemptions, money or fame as Miyazato... Why is this? Its Sadly all a matter of image. (Yuri Fudoh)

Guys, this is a pic of the 400cc G2 Tour in 9* loft. It sits square and is offered only in Japan ( limited ) and on the PGA tour. I have hit this against many drivers at the show and this one actually felt equal to the best. I have 4 of these drivers coming from Ping Japan, they are expensive but limited edition and 2 of them are spoken for already. If interested drop me a PM, these also have some excellent shaft options. I am bumping this thread because I honestly feel this club is highly underrated.
