I don't think its as bad as FAQ says. I think the maru driver was indeed a lil biach but the FW's had a tad of give at the least. They are more forgiving IMO than the Titleist 980F, the remind me of a slightly bigger version. 980F and MR23's are very similar to each other IMO.

The Camera is the Sony DSC-T1 but I know its the Camera man not the camera. A pro could take better pics than that with a disposable. There are a few basic rules anyone can follow to make picture taking idiot proof.

Tourstage X-01H? Any Information?
TourSpecGolfer replied to super_prawn's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
The Tourstage X-01H is geared toward hard hitters who swing 105+mph The H has 368 dimples and a core that is softer on the inside than its outside. The H is for hard fast swingers who want less spin and a lower ball flight. -
The New Callaway Fushion Tour Issue Pic!
TourSpecGolfer replied to joey3108's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Ive heard people saying phil is not using the FT2 he is using a prototype driver called the FT3. Can anyone shed light on the differences between these two clubs? -
Mizuno Japan doesnt carry the MX23. Only the U.S. Mizuno. Japan selected the MP27 over the MX23 in 2004.

I agree, its always a rush hitting high C.O.R drivers, I'm not sure if its mental but it seems more fun. If the PGA tour was able to use high cor drivers they would have to make courses harder IMO. Its already bad enough as it is with the new balls coming out and in a year or so everyone would be 15yds longer on average. I wonder if there would be a loss in Fairways hit %? hmmm... If so, I want a 44" low C.O.R driver at .75 :beer2:

The PSP Japan is not going to be able to work with U.S games. All Sony Japan products can be turned to english mode but the game cant unless modified. The PSP is to small for anyone to do mods to. Yes they are out in Japan retail is about 38,000yen i think which is like 375 or somthing... Somthing that is hot now that people are buying is Grand Tarismo 4, if your PS2 has a mod chip you can purchase it and i can get it for you. If your looking for a PS2 mod go to your local small game shop and pay them 25.00 to do it. ( they will not say they do it over the phone ) I want a PSP in my car

X01 vs ProV1x The X01 is shorter IMO but feels much better around the greens. I prefer the Provx with the driver and so does my wallet. If I had my choice i would play the X01 & HXTour all day. Does anyone know when that black Nike ball is coming out?

Nippon and Rifle comparisons?
TourSpecGolfer replied to springbok2712's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
The only Nippon I have found to be as accurate as the PX6.0 is the NS1050 X-flex. The best shaft IMO for a heavy head wedge is the NS850. I also really enjoy 1050X in FW's or the S flex 850 in a Driver. -
Here is a strange one from Nike, It first appeared last Feb at the 04 Japan golf fair with no hype or advertising. then they all disappeared and Nike never continued production of them after the 2nd run was sold out. Does any Nike Insider know why? Its a gem of a UT wood with looks to kill, IMO it even feels like its better made than the rest of their stuff.

Thats a MANs SS  and Hcp..lol I suggest the GD I-65 in X if money isnt an issue. If money is an issue try 693HK from Fuji.. Is your swing one of tempo or are you a Hitter?

Nippon and Rifle comparisons?
TourSpecGolfer replied to springbok2712's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Nippon steel makes some great shafts and so does rifle. The ease of use factor would go to the nippons, they will get the ball up higher, easier with less effort IMO. now there are rifles in Japan that have very similar characteristics that many in the U.S have never seen: Rifle 90 R=90g、S=93g Rifle SuperLite 85 R=83g、S=85g、X=87g Rifle 100 R=100g S=103g X=105g Diamond Rifle R=106g、RS=108g、S=111g、X=116g Enjoy your choices :smile1: -
