What is the best Tourstage driver?
The ones that worked best for me: 1. X-Drive 390 High C.O.R 2. X-Drive 365 3. J340 4. Izawa proto 5. X-Drive 350 High C.O.R notice I choose high C.O.R, it is because the face angle is .5 closed to square instead of open like the pro specs. The new X-Drive 2005 looks like a sure fire winner, square face available in conforming models, They did away with the foamed heads!!!! :surprize: and replaced them with turbo rubber, its a blue rubber that stabilizes the head causing more rebound they say  This rubber is under the grip as well as in the head, the Titanium used is supposed to be some super duper feeling stuff and they have something they do to the back of the face that makes it hotter. Cool thing is I will have them by the end of this week if anyone is interested. those of you who were smart and pre ordered will get it early.

VT Monza longshot ?????
Currently there is no long putter for sale. I suggest you have your club maker build it that way for you. I have not seen a CS version yet also but I think it could come if support for the VT is good.

TKS Bettinardi's and Bettinardi Japan??
They are both top quality for sure. Material I give the edge to gauge but i would rank them the same for they are both made extremely well. This is the 2005 line Japan betts. The Gauge Japan new putters will not be out till late feb. How heavy do you like? Japan Betts might come in 370g's like last seasons but I'm not 100% sure. with gauge you can custom order ingots. I saw Dennis Chand pick up a Tour Zero with 4 large ingots and a 150g shaft . The head weight was about 380g's. I have also learned that counter balance and grip size makes the head feel light also the way you putt. last year i wanted 370+g heads now I like 340g because with the proper stroke I notice they feel about the same.

TKS Bettinardi's and Bettinardi Japan??
None of the Japan stuff is made out of dass, check this out: The Japan stuff looks much cleaner and stylish IMO.

TKS Bettinardi's and Bettinardi Japan??
No Sir, Todd don't own Bettinardi. Bob Bettinardi does. and BB makes putters for hogan under contract I think. Todd is the man for Tour Betts and other rare bett gear. He doesn't carry the Japanese line. They are all the same. The designs are different and the Japan ones usually have a fancy head cover, grip, finish, stampings but the quality with bett's are extremely consistent. You will often see MC on the Japan ones. That means Maru's Crew. Shigeki Maruyama's father and family owns the distribution rights to Bettinardi in Japan. I'm not sure but I think they can design their own stuff also.

Where to buy NSPro Putter Shafts
thanks rsu, I can get um but the shaft alone is 65.00 and thats not shipped. It will counter balance your putter so the head will feel lighter but the overall weight will increase by a lot. I suggest the NS130g shaft over the 150g.

Golds Factory M401 first impressions
Just got my M401 malet from gold's Factory. It comes with an Iomic grip in the color of your choice and the NSpro 130g putter shaft. The finish screams old school gauge designs with its flat silver view from above and the polished chrome face and sole. It sets up exactly like the gauge japan M2+ and its apperance has lines like the Bett XM360. good crisp click as expected from any flat milled face 303 putter. My round with it didnt go so well, I think I was born an anser fan. Now for sale only putted with 1 round ( 599.00 ) shipped. Here is the current ranking for top mallets in Japan by Dream Golf. (1)ODESSEY WHITE HOT #5 (2)Tour Stage ViQ Model II (3)MIZUNO H-706 (4)Taylor Made Rossa CGB Fontana (5) Golds Factory M401

lowest trajectory iron shafts
For me it was Rifle PX 6.5 tipped and X100 tipped.

EXTREMELY rare gauge design japan tour hoshino gaooh putter!
Here are some photos of the black when I had it. The silver looks better IMO He is infact correct that its 1 of a kind. Only two GA00H w/ tungsten were made. one in black the other in silver.

Steveo2dawgs is a great seller!!!!!!!!!!
stevo is a great buyer and seller. One of the best!

Irons
As a veteran TSG'r you should know the shaft has more effect on trajectory than the head itself  . for example a PGA pro using Cb's lets take P.M and the X-tours, them irons have a lower C.O.G than the GD MB yet have the same trajectory as his Titleist blades. Its all shaft, you want low go PX 6.5 tipped. I play the MB's in Hawaii's strong winds and low is the only way to go here. The GD MB's have strong lofts so there is another reason why your ball should not fly high.

The Decline of Fair Trading?
I didnt see that, are they? and where?

The Decline of Fair Trading?
You guys think the problem is bigger with the TSG B/S/T versus the BSG B/S/T? Where do this faulty sellers hang out at? What could we do to stop them?

G-Field
No everything will be made in Japan, same as gayge :spit: Japan. The FW's will be made in China.
-
G-Field
Its no rumor, G-field is already getting things setup in the states. It will be the same designs as 2005 Gauge Japan which will be revealed at the Tokyo golf fair in late feb. The quality will be exactly the same, the prices will be lower for sure and only 50 pieces of each putter will be made for 2005. I do expect a couple putters to be forged steel CNC'd to cut down on costs. No exact release dates and the proto's will not be made till late Jan.

Royal Collection = Sonartec ?
Yup, Same factory. Sonartec's stock shafts are not as good as RC's. A sonartec with an aftermarket shaft is just as good as an RC with an aftermarket shaft IMO. Its a guess but I think the materials are the same.

Missing Thread
Ill put that thread back up later tonight. The new ones are gone all we got is used now. the standard mizuno graphite shaft in any flex. we got all the lofts. Drop me a PM anytime. hope soon someone shares their review, I have yet to order one for me.

mr-23 sw PRICE CHECK??
that model was the 1st and the worse. They make great paper weights. each wedge should go for about 25.00 each. If anyone wants them let me know. I don't recommend them.
-
Blade Irons...Opinions needed!!
The MP32's are the most forgiving IMO. The Srixons feel the most pure and would be my 1st choice. as far as U.S domestic stuff goes these two are the best available.

Gold's Factory Mallet
575.00 shipped. there are currently only two mallets. GF and gauge are pretty much made using the same manufacturing techniques. In fact the owner of GF is a fired employee of gauge as is D.W. You should not expect problems but I cant guarantee anything with these guys. I have had some putters take 3 months, and Sasaya is notorious for shipping out what he has in stock instead of what the customer ordered    another thing is the way he hand stamps...stinks! most putters are advertised to come with a cert. of authenticity but none of my customers have ever received one. When I asked him about sending them, he got upset and he would charge me shipping for the cert. that he forgot to ship. No TSG'r has ever received a cert without complaining. The work is top quality for sure, I would be happy to get you one if your interested. I personally think his mallets are a spin on the M3+, I don't like the face and sole being so shinny, it will scuff very easy like most chrome sole putters.
