Anyone knows Gauge Design putter by Darren Eggers?
TourSpecGolfer replied to Eddie's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Its completely redesigned over your heavy eldik. The biggest part would be the steps behind the face and the shorter butt end. The plumbers neck makes it play similar to the 2ball blade but heavier or play like an anser, It helps me with the shorter putts like this. The feel with the milling marks is a tad more muted, still a click but not that soft of one, the flat version feels like the normal crisp click gauge japan is known for. The Black Alumininte finish is the best finish I have seen yet on a putter very smooth. -

Anyone knows Gauge Design putter by Darren Eggers?
TourSpecGolfer replied to Eddie's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Sorry I cant show you guys pics, I have only seen 3 myself all in Auto Cad. Same here, now I'm playing 3 & 5 and some days 4 & 7. I have never had a better Fairway wood. Here are some pics of the redesigned Eldik -N- in limited Black Aluminite finish. I put one in the bag and it plays like a heavy anser/MOI. -
Anyone knows Gauge Design putter by Darren Eggers?

Gauge Japan owns China, Korea, Thailand, Taiwan etc etc even Australia every good market except the U.S. The only rouge maker is David Whitlam and the U.S name Gauge Designs is registered under a company he doesnt own called P.G.S, P.G.S America is owned by 50% Gauge Japan and 50% another investor. So in other words he needs the permission of both investors in order to sell the U.S registered name. I dont want to get into this again...sorry..lol I have seen some auto cad of what is in store for 2005 from gauge Japan & G-Field, if you thought last years stuff was sweet your gonna be blown away by whats coming next. :surprize: -
Putter weighting (counter balancing)
TourSpecGolfer replied to el_noonan's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
There are some companies who plug some weight into the butt end of the grip. I personally think it feels better to counter balance with a heavy shaft as a NS 150g or a heavy grip, It will make the club head feel lighter for sure. -

The Darren eggers putters are made in China, they retail in Japan for about 100.00 bucks cost is really low on these things due to simple design and cheap manufacturing. David Whitlam doesn't work for the " Real " Gauge Design anymore " He has started his own version which I like to call " Dave Designs " Stick with Gauge Japan if you want the best product your money can buy. -
X- Drive 365 Maru or X-Drive 2
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
I have had my custom order closed face 365 for a while now and put it against the standard .5 open version. The difference for me is very noticeable, The .5 closed version plays EASY I normally play a fade and at 9* closed the trajectory is perfect. The .5 open model was great also it just sets up looking square and plays a slightly bigger fade with the same shaft. The head shape from top looks large and from the sole also. This club does not look like the traditional X-Drive it looks bigger at only 365cc ( looks 400cc ), the face is not so deep yet not too long heel to toe. I really like this driver a lot it has less spin than my R7 the trajectory is higher than my R7 8.5 and this club is for sure longer, even longer than the M.A.X. Guys I can custom order most face angles at a premium price. I highly suggest .5 closed for people with a fade. I have not hit a better driver period and that includes the R7. The easiest to hit X-Drive to date by far. -
-5 is .5 open.

2005 Volvo S40
TourSpecGolfer replied to gerimii's topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech Gear
EVOLVE S40 I just pre ordered this exact full areo kit should be coming early December, the twin air inlet scoops are custom body work and are surprisingly cheap at 250.00 a side and thats painted. I have 19" Work Meister S2R rims with a 52* custom offset in Black with Chrome lip that will be here in a month, I was stupid and picked up some H&R springs but when installed it the drop was 2" :surprize: that will eventually hurt the stock struts in time. I ended up getting another set of Evolve springs at 1.5" in the front and 1.3" in the rear. My car is red and IMO the black painted hood and trunk look cheap so my hood will be turned into carbon fiber along with my trunk and the roof painted black. If their are other euro junkies in here that are interested I would be more than happy to take pics every step of the way. -

how do you leave/receive a trading point?
TourSpecGolfer replied to thehawk's topic in Buy, Sell, & Trade
I went ahead and got the fancy smancy ebay system, If that don't work I will dump it and try again. It wont be up for a while it is being made. -
no sir sorry. They are sold out. Look in the B/S/T or ask Tai he has one.
-
Yes sir, they run small in size. I'm 165 6ft and couldn't fit the XL comfortably. They are sold out but a few shops have them still in size's S and M. If you fit a U.S large the XL should be Ok for most. Its comfortable & warm. the 2004 TM R7 leather Japan employee Jacket is another really cool jacket.

They are all only 9* and the SW depends on the length you play it at. The one I ordered is D1 44.25 and thats with a 75g shaft.
