Black Finish on Mizuno Custom Irons w/PICS
I have received many questions about the look and durability of the Mizuno Flat Black, Black Ox, & Oil Can finishes. I have seen them all in person but only own Satin & Flat Black mizzy's. Here are some pics of an MP33 8 Iron M stamp black custom made. I really liked the new T-Series wedges by Mizuno. I highly recommend the OTR U.S version or the Japan Customs. The T head is my ideal perfect wedge, Mizuno has the most talented grinders IMO. The finish is smooth with no flaws, They will wear just as any other black finish does. Wear does give it a really nice style, If you use Iron head covers the entire back & Top remains black, only its face and sole will see normal wear. If your a good ball striker you will only see silver on the sweet spot like ZIP1111 and his 690's, If you hit the ball like me the entire face will eventually turn silver

Does moz have a web site?
I agree, the non Custom, OTR Scratch Irons that are built in Japan have the same material, and finish MOZ is known for. Mr. Ishihara is not doing the grinding on these himself, he is using his two aids, as I am told by golf ya. The finish on the Scratch OTR's have the same translucent finish as some of the MOZ wedges.

1 of 100? Seriously?
Yup that info is accurate, I was told at one point only 50 center shaft protos were made. There are a ton of different eldiks: - Proto Eldik ( Short Butt, Very heavy some 400g's ) - Tour Eldik ( mid size butt, blue & red - Eldik Retail ( Nano Cast, longest butt, works better than Tour or Proto) - Eldik -N- ( plumbers Neck & new design ) - Eldik -N- Black Alumite finish Here are the really rare ones: - Eldik N Knife Face ( Tour Issue, soft milling marks alumite black ) - Eldik N Teflon Black - Eldik Heavy Retail w/ Black 303 piece - Eldik Proto's in gray, orange, purple & green

Here is the MOZ site: http://www.ishiharagolf.gr.jp/ Let me know what you need, MOZ's take 3-4 weeks. Personally I don't suggest combo sets, a #2 #3 Only but 4 -PW need to be the same for me. Even if ordered with custom lofts, lie, Swing weights there will still be some odd distance gaps and not much consistency gained.

Callaway X-Tour Irons
Even though the masses arnt really diggin the new designs, I think its a step in the right direction, I'm so tired of traditional looking designs and concepts, Modern is the way to go. Overused model names make me sick also, usually two letters and 2 numbers MR-23, MP-33, GA01, etc etc yuck! Someone needs to be creative and innovative and I'm glad callaway is doing so with a more futuristic and modern look. I wonder if these are forged?

Titleist 904F w/Pics
Same here, I think Titleist has always made quality FW's. I could never hit the PT or 970 very well but the 980F I hold in high regard.

Titleist 904F w/Pics
These 904F's have inherited the design of the 980F fundamentally, The 904's sole is now completely silver unlike the 980's part black sole. The head cover is supposed to be very different and The face now looks more shallow. Some other differences are the score lines on the face and although the 980F had a sharp leading edge and had a more inverse triangle shape instead the new 904 looks semi trapezoid and the roundness and grounding area from the sole has been increased in size.

Maru wedges...
These wedges are sweet, Even some of the TM staffers on the JPGA are using them. Light is correct about the light Swing weight, Its a benefit for wedge feel players. Personally I would send maru's to J.K and get them spec'd out to me. The finish does wear quick, I used to Gun Blue mine to keep them fresh.

Nice New Gauge Design Staff Bags
- Anyone Play Plumbers Neck Mallets?
I play a lot of plumbers neck anser putters, I prefer a mid length one and was curious about mallets with these necks. Bettinardi makes a few and Gauge Japan has listed it as an option for me now, Do these mallets play similar to an anser and does anyone play them?- How do you get the certified seller????
I see dont you?- Difference between Fourteen JC and JC Proto 371
very big differences, The proto is conforming, has a very open face and higher C.O.G, the only shaft option is the high end Graphite Design W70. The old fourteen is the opposite.- whats in your bag?
I wont sell this one, My initials were engraved and It was a gift I received from gauge when leaving Japan. Funny part is I'm only gone for 4 months. I can make you a custom putter that looks even better, I am really liking it with the floating slits at the moment.- Nice New Gauge Design Staff Bags
210 + shipping if you guys want. They are ready to ship by next week. Shipping is very expensive close to 90 bucks. - Anyone Play Plumbers Neck Mallets?
