MY NEW IRONS!!!
Teflon is more durable, One of our members mentioned a new type of Teflon, I forget who it was... Anyway I mentioned this to gauge and they are looking into it now so thx to that member for the info. The Mizuno flat black and Black Ox will wear much faster than the Teflon does. Juan uses some kind of auto touch up paint for Teflon, I used to use gun blue for my Maru wedges. Black will wear and pretty quick but that will only be on the sole and face.

GA01 putters were only made by David Whitlam, In the past he made them for Japan, in his current line up he still uses this design.

new maru wedges
No no its all good and I hope its Nov. 17th, just find it shocking their will be 2 sets of maru 2004 wedges in one year. Personally I think waiting till January and calling them 2005 wedges would be the correct move. I speculate if they do release in November they have something big lined up for maru gear in 05. As soon as I find out for sure I will let you all know. Each shop in japan is allowed 1-3 sets and they always sell really fast. I should have 3-4 sets for sale on the day of release ready to ship.

What's the world coming to???
I will be the first to say " I was wrong about these not being out yet " Called Tourstage Japan last week and they don't even know about these. :-D perhaps i should have contacted pro support instead. Would love to see pics, even if it has the BSG watermarks don't matter here we are safe... Cant expect me to have every ounce of the good info guy's, We monitor OEMS in Japan for the most part. I can use all the import info hunters we can get and I don't think its only my responsibility keeping this site updated with fresh new info....the members ultimately make up TSG's best content. and tai, Post pics & spread info instead of complaining about it, its much more productive to do so and I think the members will appreciate it. The net is all shared info notice our link to BSG if you feel like the red sox maybe its time for a different team.

Mizuno Question ??
Hey Mike, I think it would be the MP32's the 33 & 37 are more rounded everywhere in my opinion.

First time re-gripper has hardly any equipment
Just get an exacto Knife cut the old grip off, peel the tape off with your fingers, then apply the new tape and stick a wooden tee into the grips tiny butt hole, pour gas into the grip and pour some on the shaft w/ tape. Line it up before the gas drys let it rest for an hour and your good to go. Did I forget anything guys?

r7 max and other non conforming drivers
Sounds right with the wrong shaft. I notice all high C.O.R drivers have more spin and shaft really makes a bigger difference the hotter the face. I noticed I need Stiffer high kick shafts with really hot faces. Fuji 784HK is great and so is the PM702.

New Tourstage Proto Driver

MY NEW IRONS!!!
Hey Chris, So I'm thinking I will order a set of these around Christmas time (bonus money). I currently play Z101's that are +1/2, flat + I had the lofts changed (there were nowhere near spec) and I think is D3 swingweight. I assume I could get the MP-32's setup just like that but I have a question about the finish. Will the Black Chrome rust or wear like the MP- black ox wedges? Thanks The Black Chrome will wear like the black ox. there is also flat black. The Specs you requested are not a problem at all.

titleist wedges with milled face
The face in the picture is a gauge studio wedge with the milled face upgrade option.

HIRO MATSUMOTO MI-02!!!!
Hiro's have way's less offset and IMO its the black Teflon that hides the gauges size. Satin Gd's look much bigger than the black. I am surprised how well the sole of the 5 iron stood up to play. Different Finishes make you feel different ways. Satin is good because they don't shine, but they also make the iron head look larger. Chrome shines and blinds but the head still looks smaller than satin. Black Hides ALL but wears, If Teflon it also gives it a softer mute feel.

titleist wedges with milled face
IMO milling on wedges = a softer feel, Gauge has a milling mark option for their wedges, its 80.00 bucks :wah: I tried a wedge they called the "guniea pig" it had deep mill marks on its face as in ridiculous deep, almost putter like, it was just an experiment it felt really soft almost mushy and wasn't very stable, I have tried the Tm's and they feel decent too, I'm looking for a little less mill on a wedge nothing to crunchy or mushy. Something Just like this one looks perfect to my eye:

Nike Ignite 380 Japan
Hit is many times and like it, i thought it felt and sounded better than the U.S Nike's. It is High C.O.R and the face is indeed deeper than the others.

MY NEW IRONS!!!

r7 max and other non conforming drivers
I always play high COR drivers, I don't play any tourneys that matter so I honestly don't feel like a cheater. That being said the Srixon 404 is my best friend. I'm playing a closed face version waiting for my square face spec to arrive, TS girl plays the R7 Max and it too is fantastic. The hottest feeling faces are the OnOff, the Inpres and a few others, they reach COR of 0.87 and totally leap off the face, it seems to put more spin on the ball IMO and I usually need shafts that keep dispersion tight. 983k H.C.R believe it or not is my best selling high C.O.R driver.

The TSG Ban Bug!
Must be the same bug BSG has...
-
Could someone post pictures of the Mizuno Black faces?
Nice! Please take some pics if you have time, What do you mean split the costs? Pretty much everyone can do Black Nickel or some sort of variation but I think the bigger companies stay away or just don't like to do it for some reason. Gauge will do some wedges here and there for a studio customer but mizuno does have a dark finish that could be similar. Who is refinishing your clubs?
