  1. JPX has often been this way, your more of an MP kinda guy anyway.
  2. Pan60 on the 2014 I think.
  3. Japan Golf Fair 2016 Photos from the Mizuno Golf Booth, USA & JPN share many models but there is a good amount of products that are Japan only like the MP-55 Forged Irons, MP-R5L and R5W, JPX EIII Series and a ton of shoes but let's not forget Yoro Craft, the booth didn't have the entire line up on hand but we did our best to take photos so please enjoy...
  4. Did you ever try the Chapter 2 Hybrid? That one was also forged cup face and it's pretty amazing. if they can improve over that in this new one I'm game.

Here are some pics of the original one, I will post pics of the new Gen in less than a week
  6. I hit this one last week, it's great but I think the 2015 was tighter, hard to go up from there imo. This new 2016 I tried in a Jbeam head on the range it's not as laser straight at last years model yet it had the same mid trajectory and felt a stronger kick.
  7. No idea on the putter, damascus bugs me it's really just a laminated graphic or at best layered in during the making of the metal it's not the real damascus from back in the day. Also notice the neck is a different piece than the body, if you wanna go high end make it 1 piece and if you want to get fancy with a neck weld cut off the neck and weld it back on instead of producing the head without a neck and adding it. sorry for rant! but yes this putter looks pretty cool I will ask 7D about it.
  8. Sorry guys I missed these. I first tried it in an Odyssey Proto putter at 7D HQ. Also tried it in a scotty at the golf show as well as this creature:

They are made in Taiwan, remember Miura doesnt fully forge any of their clubs they never did, they do 2,3,4 presses not #1 which is the actual forging part. PP-9005 Genesis is a very good iron though, i will post my photos after i finish golf show coverage along with the 1008's
  10. I haven't purchased them yet but if you guys want them email me.
  11. I have sourced 2011, 2008, but not 2012's used.
  12. Yup I have and we have received feedback from many many clients who have purchased these from TSG. It's a stable mid to high cappers club, it feels better than USDM titleist drivers they say softer at impact, it's got that Titleist lower spin attribute with a slightly higher trajectory than the US 460, of course a lot depends on the shaft you choose but based on client feedback this driver should have been released in the states for the average player. Yes Fuji EVO II and many other great shafts are factory options which makes this a club worth considering.
  13. Full write up in the blog, pics right here! I didn't capture shots of all their new items because the booth was a madhouse but next week at their HQ & Factory I will take full profile pics and photos of the rest of their new items and accessories.
  14. Most hand picked brands don't have loft. Jbeam is the same and a few others, basically you request and they hand pick them.
  15. No we avoid adapters at all costs, I have access to some non OEM adapters and don't want to be responsible for any issues.
  16. Elite Grips has been pushing their products hard for the last several years, Iomic and Nowon are no longer aggressively in the run seems like they are coasting while Elite is outspending everyone. This year they had some new cool putter grips that are textured, nothing much else besides that but the booth is always cool they use black lights to make their grips glow.
  17. The ONOFF booths are always classy. The drivers are fine except for the hosel part when you need a reshaft. The purpose of that piece is to adjust angles but it's not openly offered & isn't readily available to the customer. I am an anti adapter and little parts guy this is a way for major OEM's to lock you into their series, get club makers to invest in more parts, and for customers to buy aftermarket shafts from the OEM, this has created a market for un authorized adapters which work fine but void warranty. The solution is simple give an extra adapter with each purchase and sell extras to the end user.
  18. It can go as high as 12,000,000yen there are different colors, materials, pocket options it is also made to order. I'm not sure if it's THE best looking bag I've ever seen but it's the best quality bag I've seen. I will take some pics of the different options for s**ts and giggles. Yes we have already sold one.
  19. I'm giving RomaRo my personal best brand line up of the year for the 2016 Japan Golf Fair. First reason is because none of it was expected other than their new driving iron but outside of that the driver looks outstanding and the Ray V iron based on looks alone has a good chance of making it into my bag. The driver, DI, and Irons are all on my must try list. I've hit none of it, it's all pre release but the quality, shapes, specs all looks solid. More impressions in the blog but all the photos right here:
  20. My thoughts in the blog My pics in the forum :) Enjoy!
  21. If anyone wants to create their own choco look just take the copper satin or mirror and apply gun blue, you will notice a different look by dipping once or twice as well as using steel wool to brush or add cold water while brushing and if you want to get more funky after that experiment with a high heat torch and go close and far for a more pearl look. It's very easy and fun if you like this sort of thing.
  22. These will all be in the pro shop later in the week with pricing. email [email protected] if you need them sooner.
  23. We got a brief run down in the blog just my thoughts really but took some decent pics of the new stuff for you guys.
