  1. He dont have them yet, nor do I we are still working on the final product. Its been over a year already on this one.
  2. It's got offset just very little also strong lofts don't go against minimal offset. strong lofts means more distance but also a lower trajectory on a blade with a slightly lower CG than other blades as planned it averages it out. Most important was by strengthening the lofts it allowed us to add a set matching AW because we used the #3 mold to produce the #4 and so fourth.
  3. Yes just gotta snap some pics of it, got one here ready to go. they are available now via email.
  4. Special thanks to member Chiromikey for collaborating with us on this design! It's a very cool concept iron, the set in these photos are one of a kind. The concept is a strong lofted MB with a PW at 44* This is awesome because it also allows us to use the same mold PW and bend it into a 50* AW the benefit of this is another approach club part of the same set that has the same feel and appearance as the rest of your irons for improved consistency and flow. S15C Forged, Hand Grind + CNC Milled center channel. Full story in the blog w/photos right here! #4 #8 #AW
  5. This Proto is the prototype of the royal decoration which is why it plays soft. Most Crazy shafts play to flex or stiffer it just depends on the shaft profile you select.
  6. I'm not a fan of this brand, sure the drivers are pretty good but god do they miss the mark in so many ways with nearly every other product they offer, often the looks are gaudy, cheap, overdone and the quality just isn't there. their staff at the show didn't know anything about their own products and as I'm taking the photos I was thinking what am I doing here? then I download the pics to my computer and damn somehow these shots came out pretty good. We do have some customers that love the driver and great I'm glad it works but it's just hard for us to stand behind a brand that produces one good product then makes a dozen mistakes in the rest of their line up... ok rant over. enjoy the pics!
  7. Yup Zodia OZ is another monster, super long, not so high thought but forgiving and mid is what I got from it.
  8. Full write up in the blog but this new brands first offerings already put them near the top in wedge making. The company makes it's wedges in Himeji but what also makes it unique is they send the heads to Tsubame Sanjo to a world class polishing company, the same factory that polished the original iPod's screens for apple. It's called the SPY-1 Wedge, I love that Orion stamp on the back face! Two models Type-S & Type-G today I'm talking about the Type-G, later this week I will highlight the Type-S. This Type-G is unique because like the SDJ Limited 115 Prototype they are targeting a new trend the group that likes the visual effect of a straight leading edge instead of a round one, CGS Orion takes it a step further by giving the Type-G model no trailing edge so it's all about a straight edge floating leading edge that sits square to the target instead of opening it up. Do not think for a second that better players want a killed trailing edge, it's very much a personal preference some people play their wedges without opening them and value you straight setup for a better look over a rounded leading edge and a face that rocks open... So which one are you? or have you not tried the non rocking straight face before?
  9. Pay no attention to this one hutch, It ran for a grand and I'm sold out.
  10. Yup photos show a thin neck, I've played this putter and didn't notice it will have to take another look. Best part of made to order and handmade is request a thicker neck. Weight is usually distributed evenly across the top line, sole thickness usually horizontally or just a smidgen vertical.
  11. We can do any head weight as they are made to order but the heavier you go the thicker the shape becomes which I wouldnt mind at all, a chunky 360g version would also be cool. or send to golds like hutchys rad ping years back. logo or not is fine with me.
  12. I love L's on fast firm greens but on soft hairy greens especially long putts they are worthless to me.
  13. Very different in feel compared to original CB. There was orig CB in S15C and then SS400 but made by different factory. those were pretty soft equally on the face, a little harsh on the toe because they were thin CBs. Totally different feel on the new MB, different metal supplier, the grind and shinagawa and the fact it's an MB makes it a lot more pure, more disappearing ball feel center, yet firmer outside vs CB, I think the MB is much better balanced. Also there is the newest 2016 CB which is more mid sized to go against the ONOFF Kuro's. those are softer all over the club face imo. Everyone gets different results/feels, so much depends on how you strike it center and the shaft.
  14. You can borrow my irons for a month while I'm in up north but they have MCI 120 Stiff's.
  15. Chujo craft wasn't even a thought when we started and finished these. Ask T :) Also I've been showing these to some TSG'ers since over a year ago. AND... these are Handmade IN Japan!
  16. No problem at all. reminds me of the Japanese knives how they have no finish and require a grinding stone to keep them sharp and free of rust.
  17. Some Japanese Golf Clubs are still made the old fashion way like SEVEN's Hizukuri Putter - It starts with our heavy head made of S20C the furnace is heated to about 1200 degree's putting the S20C on the verge of melting which makes it easier to manipulate and bend by hand. The crafter then pulls the head from the fire while it's glowing red and pounds and pounds with a hammer over and over again layering the steel and compressing it while pulling and bending the neck section to shape. After the head is in it's basic form the grinder takes over to meticulously hand grind it to the desired shape and weight, with classic style designs like this it's very difficult to make a heavy head but by utilizing the ancient Hizukuri forging process we are able to condense more weight into this smaller head, it is the only way and in my opinion really cool. Usually these L shaped putters being so light and just their overall design work best on blazing fast greens or require a bigger & stronger stroke to get the same distance as a modern putter so we decided to keep it null of any face milling which maintains the most distance possible. And because of the hand forging process the S20C is actually forged first by press then forged once again by hand so it's uber soft following that the metal is tempered in water then sits for 2 days in the ashes of rice straw to further cure it's molecular structure. we then send them to get the softest finish NiCr possible applied because flat faces tend to feel firm but the result of the hand forging + material and finish this putter feels buttery soft. We thought long and hard about adding milling but decided to keep it classic, we thought long and hard about stamping but thought nah how can we ruin this head with anything on it, forget branding, forget what brand made it all that does not matter, this is SEVEN this is what the player wants it's not blank the brand is just invisible :) These are extremely expensive to produce so we are making very few made to order only, if the client wants customizations we will send it to golds factory. This putter needs nothing.
  18. He's no joke that guy, we were working on this iron even before the golf show, that is actually a completely different head with a similar backface, we had to start from scratch on it because using that head we could not get the minimal offset done so basically its a new head with the same back face with a totally different shape, no gooseneck at all. Quality is top notch on this one, the satin finish has great feel it's a very dull satin no gloss at all, I have not hit coppers yet we have so few sets I've got mine and been happy with them. These are my gamers for 1.5 years I just didn't mention, I'm sorry but they are only sold 3-PW. I play them with MCI-120's for now.
  19. Introducing the SEVEN X SHINAGAWA Blade! This product is a 3-way collaboration design between SEVEN + SKG Shinagawa + Kitada CNC creating a sexy new muscle back iron with inspiration from the classic Macgregor golf irons. We started by sourcing Japanese S15C billets to produce the blank iron head for this specific design, then after the initial prep grind these heads were sent to Kitada CNC to have the edgy back face milled for consistency in look and weighting perfectly placing the CG depth, height, and location in the perfect spot for each iron, also, the Seven Logo on the back face and neck were CNC milled instead of pressed. After Kitada-San they were sent back to Shinagawa-san for the complete grinding of the heads, extremely limited over two years in the making we are extremely confident in the performance, feel, and quality of SEVEN's latest creation. For those who are not familiar with the brand SEVEN GOLF, it is the house label of TourSpecGolf using only Japanese materials, manufacturing, finishing, parts and assembly it is the forged essence of Japanese Golf Clubs using clean and modern concepts combed with classic influences for the purest player. As with many SEVEN clubs, the custom options are abundant in the above image you see a black boron plated head with red paint fill and on the bottom a smoked copper finish. We also offer smoked copper with more or less chocolate meaning it can have more gold show through at the customers request. Below the Black Mirror finish provides a soft, sticky impact as the ball compresses against the surface; it's a luxurious dark chrome in the light or a black looking finish in the shadows. The grind itself is something we are very proud of we wanted something unique yet still familiar and through countless prototype samples we designed what we feel is the perfect grind for size, shape, and cg locations on the head. The toe's highest peak is pushed out past the score line to a sharp toe look, the offset is near nothing it's just enough making it much more hittable, this is the least amount of offset to maintain the optimal performance of this iron, and we tried zero, but in the end the eye wins and we pushed toward near zero offset and the result is beautiful from all angles. Above photo in black mirror finish, below photo in NiCr brushed satin by using Kyoshin Finishing House in Ichikawa Japan this company is right across the street from Shinagawa-san's factory and only produces finishes for the golf industry we adjusted the finish attributes to enhance the S15C's feel. During the manufacturing process we had a few ways to go when it came to the irons impact vibration, by manipulating the hardness rating and or choosing a different finish the feel varied widely this is also why it took us so long to produce with any blade feel is extremely important you don't want a gushy soft all over the face when what the better player desires is feedback on mis-hits yet a soft cold stick of butter feel dead center almost as if the ball disappears off the face. We accomplished our goal. Please allow me to summarize this | S15C Japan Forged Heads + CNC Milled Back Face & Logos + Shinagawa Grinders + SEVEN design = a club to appeal to the wants and desires of TourSpecGolf's members. Let's not forget custom options, we sell these heads only of course but TSG's clubmakers are second to none, and you can judge this for yourself with our ferrule work, custom spec details, paint work and overall build quality, the SEVEN clubs are offered with the finest options available be it Seven Dreamers Iron shafts, Crazy STP's, Fujikura MCI BLACK, Mitsubishi OT-Series and many more, we highly suggest trying the new XROZ grips made in Japan or one of our other extensive grip offerings. The SEVEN X SHINAGAWA Blade is Limited to only 15 sets available at the moment.
  20. no it isnt, its like a lighter smoother FW80 basically, trajectory is higher than original but not high.
  21. Ive played both a lot, the new one is softer feeling, smoother, lighter as its in the mid 60's. There is also a new FW80C version even softer. The closest thing to the originally FW80 is the FW50, weights are similar, feel is better, more distance, not as straight or low but still pretty tight.
  22. Here are some: Varit's Ash Craigs Lisong Carls I cant find Needmoregolf's either!
  23. Shuttle is such a good FW, more people need to try it. I installed a FW80 original into it last year and it was a monster, I could go back to this one any day. If you want smaller more pretty with high launch grandista is naturally a high ball depending on shaft of course. Jbeam TiFW is another.
  24. That is correct from Honma in the S-03 there is something on the toe to designate high cor, and yes S-03 can be made high cor in 4-5 stars per customer request. I sold that Honma driver a while back, I now have the S-05 version in 4 Star, will post up soon.
