TRPX Aura is a step softer and lighter. TRPX X-Line and X-Line 75 "heavy" is also another fast swinger aggressive style shaft. this goes back to my point there are 3-4 players shafts in the line up with little to explain the difference other than a few clues and the weight.

I agree with Vega, Zylon is a material not a technology so apples and oranges. Zylon, Boron, doesnt matter its the design, how and who its made by even how much of something they use or who supplied that material etc.. I just wish TRPX would provide the info for us maniacs, Japanese brands heck most shaft brands dont provide enough info to help the player know what shaft to select in their extensive selections.

Yup public starts on Saturday.

Wow this project is evolving! looks great at address! something odd around the neck but youll know for sure when its in the metal. Hand polishing is key by a guy with an eye so dont go sharp edges. also find a factory with low min qty, under 100pcs hopefully. then send me a couple i will do some mods to them taking it to the next level. keep in touch! your going places!

This is the calm before the storm! I think I will start posting new content before the show to get a head start. Land in Japan late Monday, Tuesday I will kick things off. Show starts Friday. Besides golf clubs you guys want Japan experience stuff too?
-
They don't make many of these because it's a hard swingers shaft. Made of Zylon no idea what that translates into in the real world but it's a slightly heavier 67g range tip stiff shaft that feels better than the Aura imo. Aura feels a bit invisible yet light and tight, this one has more heft to it and feels more kicky. I suggest for faster more aggressive tempo, someone with a hook as a bad shot.

I've hit the new UT into the simulator and I think it can give the A-GRIND Proto some competition. Have not hit the driver or FW yet though. Yup Grandista is legit! the shape of head, face, it's all really nice. feel is good too and with a DAT option and SP700 option you can't go wrong. I do notice it is higher launching than my Jbeams but not as high as RomaRo Alpha which is another good fairly low spin higher launching head. Grandista is better though. I have one with a Crazy CB80LS II regenisis shaft and I thought it would be too much shaft for me but it has worked out to be very straight mid launch with a ton of roll. Sometimes I forget how great Crazy's shafts are.

Sorry I got to this one late! Yes consistency, We are about the same age, I've been doing good for just over 1 year now. BPI BCAA I think tastes great! I also hear great things about this co. I use it because it's sweet and tastes like im cheating. I have actually been to one of the top supplement manufacturing factories in Cali inperson what an interesting experience. dozens of huge garage sized bins of dried leaves/herbs being moved by bull dozer, room full of fax machines getting quotes from the herb/mineral dealers all day long from all over the world unfortunately most brands go with cheapest. Lot's of science but also lots of marketing with many competitors made right along side each other. It's often what extras the brand pays for that make the difference and if they have their own testing lab which is not cheap. like golf clubs anyone can make their own brand it's more a question of are they willing to invest in making it a great brand. I can't stress enough the importance of mental reconditioning and changing ones context. pod casts, motivational videos, last thing at night, first thing in AM, while I work out has been a huge help. At the moment I'm listening to: - The Joe Rogan Expereince - Invisibilia - Explain Things To Me - On Point with Tom Ashbrook - Slates Political Gabfest - The Tim Ferris Show - Youtube stuff at gym Just trying to absorb different people's realities with the goal of learning + motivation, becoming a more positive person, and staying on track with my goals. Yoga I also give a lot of credit it's helped my back. Struggling with rotator cuff injury right now and on 800mg of IBProf. Working out 5-6 days a week sometimes takes it's toll on me so I have to know when to back off. Not sure if any of this has helped my golf game though. we all have our own theories but my thing is no warm up, no stretching, no caffine, and eat small bites throughout the round with some sort of energy chew at the turn or shortly after.

What come close to Seven Dreamers shaft's
TourSpecGolfer replied to shoutout33's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Keep it simple, Fujikura EVO II for $250 in the proshop. -
So what's the story with these? Translation anyone?
TourSpecGolfer replied to Mjr. D's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Go woth Fujikura EVO II, same exact materials but with MCI tech in the tip at a much better price point, its also the newer shaft. -
The customer will request a weight & flex. 130g is no problem. Heavy shafts are the easiest to make it's the light shafts that take more expertise and better materials.

My diet often is: AM - Shaklee Meal Replacement Shake whey balanced carbs/protein During gym - BPI sports BCAA drink artic ice flavor After gym - piece of 15 grain bread with almond butter + 2 eggs + fruit w/cottage cheese take my pills, L-Carnatine & CLA & Shaklee Vitalizer Strip. Almonds if I need a snack but bo more than 20 dinner fish or chix with veg + brown rice/white rice mix or salad. 10mg meletonin at night. sounds healthy right? but come weekends im drinking multiple bloody marys, beer, & wine, stuffing my face with whatever lots of rare red meat and I do this 1-2 times on saturday and once on Sunday.

For me they key factors are simple: it must be lifestyle and consistent. without those things it wont last. 1 x per week Yoga 4 x per week stretch/cardio/weights ( only 1hr 30min ) 2 x per week BJJ 5 days a week eat clean & below 2000cal this allows me to have two anything goes meals + drinks per week (usually sat/sun) Tried cross fit, HIT, Tabata, and many extreme diets. I have weight issues. I find the DASH diet ideal for me. I hired a trainer for a year then since dec of last year have been able to sustain this on my own by replacing him with BJJ. Im about to embark on a lot of travel for work and pleasure so keeping this up and planning wisely will be a challenge. I also find if I dont completely exhaust myself working out Im a F'd up person, too much energy with no physical outlet puts me on trigger, jumpy, and overly aggressive. I need this consistent balance for my sanity. I also listen to a boat load of pod casts, when I awake, go to bed, and motivational stuff in the gym.

R9 TP Forged by TSG Club Works
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Imo almost any club can feel soft with the right shaft/grip/specs and hitting it center, I've hit black borons that feel hard and hit them that are very soft. These irons inherently feel soft. Mitsubishi OT shafts do a good job at making many clubs feel buttery. --- To Spoon-san, what is black pearl? Soft Black Plated + Polished which is similar to the black nickel finish by Honma or Mizuno Yoro is possible. -
We took in some homeless used classic Taylormade R9 TP Japan Forged Irons and did our magic removing the TP badge sending them into our Black Boron finishing factory ( in Japan ) then a custom white/yellow paint fill job. These irons are Dark and Evil looking now. We still have these set of heads 5-PW available if anyone is interested.
-
Pretty good irons and wedges, feel is not exactly soft, it's Kyoei forged, fairly compact. We have sold a few and the customers have not provided any feedback so I'm gonna guess they are decent, usually when irons or anything are stellar I get feedback from members who are blown away with smiles on their faces.
-
I guess the cats out of the bag! 7D iron shafts will be unveiled at the golf show, I've had them for 2 days now in a special set of irons but those in Japan can go to the Shiba-Koen location and give them a whack by appt only. They retail 100,000 yen each shaft. Fitting can be same as the Matrix/Haute but also customer requests weight/flex/characteristics.

Yup coverage will be huge this year from TSG. Keep up with our social media pages as that content flows the quickest. This is a good page to keep tabs on: http://www.tourspecgolf.com/blog/social/ Also I've already seen the full exhibitors list not much to look forward but still should be better than the USPGA show, the best content will come from TSG's exclusive content from the meetings before/after the show.

Golf Training Aids Exclusive to Japan?
TourSpecGolfer replied to Henry's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Ton's Japan has so many I don't know where to start - Elite Grips One Speed - Royal Collection Iron Doctor - A-Grind has a super short heavy club training device - Epson M Tracer - Royal Collection Tri-One Stick - Woss Power Shake Master - Tabata Tornado Stick - etc.. Ako-san from A-Grind is one of the best designers of training aids making RC millions over the years with his designs, unfortunately not making a dime for himself.
