Super Eggs hands down. -
Thats another thing I love about Japan, the best club makers all have these ratty beat up wooden tables, none of these stainless steel table pristine club making rooms.

-
Thats a lot of good info but the big variables are the shafts design & profile and the heads design & characteristics.

I love it! 30yds is no joke and what I hear a lot is aggressive swingers with higher spin and sometimes negative attack angles get this type of mad distance with Blackout 435 or ZY-11. smoother swingers with a positive angle and naturally low spin don't do as well and should hit the Glorious.

Those pesky range balls
-
We get our share of doozies here's a fun one. Customer contacts me about Defective Yamaha's, he says the head cracked and paint chipped from hitting range balls off a mat. I'm like no problem I'll see what I can do please send me some photos so I can send them to Yamaha and tell me how they were damaged. I only used these clubs on the driving range with a mat, with regular range balls. My other domestic clubs (Taylormade, Adams, Bridgestone, Yonex) never had this issue. and here's the pics: ...

Seven Dreamers has released a new and (and expensive) Divot Tool & Coaster. Both available individually the divot tool retails at $80 while the coaster set (2pcs) is $175 or the other way to get them is to clunk down some major coin for their awesome L01 Limited Shaft and get both included as a set.

Grandsita's RS-F is VERY Good!

I hope so, I can only guess they would. This is a brand I hope does really well so Yoshida-san can continue to make clubs, his designs are unique made for the pro'ish enthusiast which is a segment many TSG'ers will love. -

Grandsita's RS-F is VERY Good!
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Roddio's latest spoon is much harder to lift by far with it's deeper face I've hit it and it's on par with PRGR Egg Spoon in ease of getting up. -
For years, there’s only been one passenger waiting at the Kami-Shirataki train station in the northernmost island of Hokkaido, Japan: A high-school girl, on her way to class. The train stops there only twice a day—once to pick up the girl and again to drop her off after the school day is over. three years ago ridership at the Kami-Shirataki station had dramatically fallen because of its remote location, and freight service had ended there as well. Japan Railways was getting ready to shut the station down for good—until they noticed that it was still being used every day by the high-schooler. So they decided to keep the station open for her until she graduates. The company’s even adjusted the train’s timetable according to the girl’s schedule. The unnamed girl is expected to graduate this March, which is when the station will finally be closed.

Grandsita's RS-F is VERY Good!

Hi Nob, Yes for me at least trajectory 14* is higher than A-Grind 14* or Modart 14*. -
Grandsita's RS-F is VERY Good!
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
I like it over the A-Grind in feel, distance, and how it clips the ball off the ground. Traj. is about the same but RS-F flies in a more penetrating way. This one would kick my modart out if I can find another original FW80 shaft. -
Introducing the new Grandsita RS-F Fairway Woods - with all the amazing fairway woods on TSG it's hard to choose "the right" one and here comes another stunner the RS-F3 by Grandista, lets start with some very good news, it's got a DAT55G face, a forward CG for lower spin, yet a fairly shallow face to help get the ball up, the cut away and two weight bars create a very stable trajectory. I've hit all 14/15/16* custom 3 wood lofts and can suggest these with confidence they stack up with the best of them for sure top 3 in my book as well. Yoshida-san former tour pro and founder/designer of Grandista is on a roll, his drivers are top 5 in my book and this fairway wood is top of the heap as well, It's designed for the lower handicap player yet its extremely easy to hit with it's mid/high trajectory and due to less spin a tighter shot dispersion yet maintaining workability, sounds almost too good to be true but it all works out and compared against other JDM fairway woods for low handicap golfers these have a slight distance advantage as well. More good news is with our direct relationship with Yoshida-san we can custom order 14/15/16/17/18/19* lofts ranging from 3 & 5 woods weak or strong custom hand picked this is a big plus for those who desire exact lofts to fill a certain gap or those who need a strong/weak 3 or 5 wood. I had a very easy time hitting the 14* with good launch where as with most other brand I don't do so well with the lower lofts, I think 14/17* is a great good combo and paired with a heavier stable shaft the trajectory was near perfect for me, this will definitely give my Modart a run for it's money and is good enough for me to consider buying a 7D shaft for this head. Like the Grandista Driver the shape at address is off the charts pretty, it reminds me of a slightly more round A-Grind style shape and the size is just right with the 3 wood at a perfect 163cc's and the 5 wood at a smaller 153cc's. Yoshida-san really knows what he is doing. f interested we will have these in the proshop later in the week, I also have 3 brand new heads in stock used for photos available 14/15/16* lofts if you email me at [email protected] Thanks for reading!

The Ultimate Set of TW727 Combo Irons
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Your welcome, yes P model is a 2 piece head with more focus on distance and forgiveness yet its still a players club with it's shaft options, head weights and overall design just a more forgiving and larger size one. Feel won't be as pure as the other 1 piece forged models and that is why I would only have it in the long iron if you care about that. Also when you do custom black nickel finish on the P, it still has a silver inner cavity while all other models are completely custom black nickel. -

Do a search in the blog sir. We have photos of all three models. -
It's not the fact that you prefer USDM over JDM, what market its made for is totally irrelevant it's the driver/shaft/specs that best match your swing and hit well. What people are blurting out in this thread is what works for them without understanding of what the original poster needs, so if your one to follow the pack based on another's optimal club then your bound to strike out more often than not. If your truly committed to understanding the why behind the clubs you like or dislike then it takes effort in learning about your own swing and the specs that work or don't work for you.
