Seven Dreamers L01 Nishijin-ori Shaft
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Forgot to add that when you buy one of these you also get a carbon divot tool, carbon drink coaster, and if you are in Japan at the time an invite to the Seven Dreamers Tournament. I will take photos of my divot tool and coaster and post, they are top notch just as their shafts are. -
Introducing the new Limtied Edition L01 Shaft by Seven Dreamers, It is the companies very first limited series hence it's name L01. It's special due to it's new carbon textile material and more attractive and complicated to produce weave, the result is a better feeling "more smooth" sensation yet without any widening of dispersion or a higher launch. Seven Dreamers considers the L01 the ultimate shaft solution derived from their enormous fitting and design data based on the Seven Dreamers Fitting Bank, 7D has also allowed customers to select one of their 24 BEST shaft designs without a fitting or question form... BUT TSG is taking the L01 to the next level by highly suggesting you fill out the 16 question form anyway for Seven Dreamers to double check providing you with the absolute best fit possible. So you choose your model, fill out the form, Seven Dreamers will say if they think your selected design is a good choice and if it's not sometimes they slightly tweak the design or choose a different one for you. All bases covered :) or you can simply opt out of the question form and have the model you want shipped in about 4 weeks to you as shaft only or assembled by TSG's top club maker. Above a look at how beautiful Nishijin-ori is, Click here to read the Wiki history on it: (History) The L01 shaft for no additional cost can also have words printed on it's side for the client yet it still comes in at a pretty penny the shaft retails at a whopping 360,000 yen which is around $2800 usd + the price of the head/grip/assembly/shipping so if your mating it to a top grade Japanese Driver you are easily in the 3k possibly even 4k range. Please email [email protected] if you are interested, these are limited at 300pcs and already over 150 have been sold.

Copper Mirror/Satin Titleist Cold Forged Vokeys
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Satin Copper holds up pretty well to humidity brand new, it's only when water or the oil from your hands touch it that causes the patina process to accelerate. -
Time for another beautiful set of Yoro Craft Irons this time it's the new MP-5's fully tricked out with custom grinds, finish and stamping. We asked the team Mizuno's Yoro Craft Dept to add a W Grind to the sole which is one of the most and versatile grinds for the better players anywhere, the toe was hand ground sharper and the top line straighter for a more angular and edgy appearance, the offset was reduced , finish changed to double nickel satin, markings on hosel removed and custom stamping and text deletion so no where on this head does it actually say MP-5 on it. Like it? Tons of pics after the Jump.... This set used for photos is available and in stock so please contact [email protected] as we only have 1 and anything custom ordered is carrying a 6 week lead time due to the Holiday Season where as these can ship in 1-2 days. MP-5 4-PW - W-Grind - Grind sharper toe and straight top line +0.5mm Face Progression (less offset) - Remove "Grain flow Forged" - Dark blue (Mizuno blue) paintfill for logos - 5-A Stamping - Double Nickel Satin - Nothing on Hosel - Modus 120 Stiff -D2 ( ** Remember that TSG Purchased Yoro's have the option to be sent back to Mizuno Factory and refinished at a fair price ** )

New Release - SEVEN 2016 Wedges
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Update: The 64* is making a lot of clients very happy. What people are saying is that it's lower bounce, sole grind, loft makes green side chips ( especially from above ) much easier to dial in, also that from bunkers its a gem, especially firmer sand. I can second this as green side bunkers don't worry me anymore, lastly this wedge has the most ONSETT of any wedge I see currently available anywhere. -
Kamui Works Custom Driving Wood
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
I will probobly get a bunch of emails on how this compares to the Baldo Brassy, I'm sorry but I will not be hitting this 12.5 and have limited time with the Brassy because I just don't have the game to hit these low lofts consistently. Off the tee the Brassy was like a tighter mini driver yet with a little less distance than a driver, great for narrow courses or players who simply hit fairway woods off the tee better. I'm going to assume this is similar. 2pcs in stock, expect 1-2 months for custom orders. -
Years back Kamui Works was one of our best selling drivers, they make fully custom woods by hand in Japan which is not something many or any brands really do, this has allowed us to cater to golfers who need extreme specs like 5* open face angles, custom black IP's soles, ultra heavy or light head weights and adjustments of bias and CG locations internally, I mean what brand does this? I wanted to make something a little flashy and unique while also fitting the needs of a request we get quite often, that is the need for a driving wood off the tee box that can also handle fairway's like a fairway wood. The end result is a jaw dropper a 210g head with 12.5* loft and a 1* open face angle, black IP sole with Ferrari yellow paint.. yum! I'm not hitting this one, it's really just to remind our members what Kamui can do with drivers and fairway woods. For those who want to Jump at this we have only 2pcs ready made and able to ship in a day or two so get in touch with [email protected] if you want to avoid the wait or you want a custom order to spec a unique driving wood for yourself. Lexus Blue or Ferrari Red anyone?

Crazy 104W New for 2016 by Toyoshima + TSG Club Works
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
We can bend them 2* ( pre finish ) making the 58 a 56 and another 58 a 60 in which different color paint or finish could tell them apart. -
New OT75 and OT105 Shafts Coming by Mitsubishi
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
The OT's feel softer than MCI's so hard to say, that could be just feel by design and not flex or it could actually be a softer playing shaft. Weight wise yes they should both be in that area. from 95-105 is only 10g difference. -
Crazy Toyoshima 2016 Wedge - Isn't she lovely? The standard finish is satin while this one is TSG Club Works modified. We receive the heads from Crazy then send it to a Japanese copper factory where they are dipped, then several weeks later we get them back and soak them in a chemical agent to apply its outer most dark layer for a beautiful smooth finish that we have dubbed "Smoked Copper" We have been perfecting our smoked copper finish, this is the latest iteration it's different from before as its smoother visually in its darker areas and applied more evenly. Kaizen as they say, always improving. Enough about the mod job it recieved as these wedges are some of the best and those who know anything about Toyoshima-san's wedges or have ever owned a Crazy Wedge can automatically assume these will play just as good if not better than previous versions. How about Black Boron with Red Paintfill? It doesn't rust and looks like flawless to my eye, known to provide a slightly firmer feel at impact it doesn't do that to this wedge for some reason it's still soft and dense like a cold stick of butter when the ball meets the face. It's not Chrome it's TSG's Soft Black + Hand Polishing process, it reminds me of a dark chrome finish and without the hand polish process its a darker matte grey with no glare, this finish does wear and beautifully it equals copper in it's soft feel, almost sticky at impact. Another shot with what will likely be our members favorite finish, everything smoked copper has been a hit lately. Below an address image, this wedge is more tear drop in shape that previous models. The sole grind has a slight trail edge relief while the leading edge is killed nicely but not drastically, Toyoshima-san identified this as perfectly versatile for steep and sweep hitters, the face can be opened with ease and as you go higher in loft even more so as the size of the killed trailing edge increases. Again below more tear drop than the previous model also hard to see but these faces are CNC milled grooves and mill marks making them extra sharp, they are conforming yet yeild more spin than your average wedge. I'm going to give you some alone time with these so I will stop writing and let you drool over the images of angles and finishes below, Just an FYI we do have these very same wedges used for photos available in 52/58 sets saving you the 4 week lead time it takes to make these custom. So please inquire with [email protected] they are 500 + Shipping for the set of 2 heads in any of these finishes. You can also order these in a few other finishes with custom paint fill if you do decide you are willing to wait it out.

New OT75 and OT105 Shafts Coming by Mitsubishi
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Having hit the MCI's in 100/120 for many rounds along with the OT95 and the STP85 Stiff I like the STP's best for result and OT's for feel. Nothing against MCI's and I do agree they are better than steelfibers I just played them so much it was time for something new, I found the STP's super straight and accurate to a point that it greatly increased my overall confidence in approach shots. If Crazy made an STP Driver Shaft I could see it going as straight as the 7D's. note to myself to recommend this to them. Only limiting factor on the STP's is the price. OT's though are smooth, vibrant kick, accurate, higher launching than MCI/STP in the same weight. I can only say good things about these. -
I get a lot of questions about the flexes of TRPX shafts, some say an actual flex on them, other models have stars. The Flex is only a guide. 1S R 2S SR 3S S 4S SX 5S X However the UT is different. UT-6 1S 230cpm UT-6 2S 240cpm UT-7 1S 250cpm UT-7 2S 270cpm UT-8 1S 260cpm UT-8 2S 280cpm UT-9 1S 290cpm UT-9 2S 310cpm

You have a few options with that budget. You will get better material/manufacturing/upgrades with Golds Factory for sure and its customized for you, with 2500 you got many weights, custom insert, pretty much sky's the limit. With Circle T, well they are very nice but what your getting is a pretty basic putter with special stamping and a popular brand name. Last option is to get a used Circle T and send it to GF.

Kuro is a 1 piece head, the 727V is closest if you want that but it isn't as forgiving or soft, it does have a better setup though and is not too compact, just a little smaller than Kuros. RB247G that would be TW727P model for sure.

Titleist Korea Only AP1 Forged Irons Now Available!
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Round #3 in the books with these, let me update my experience with them: - R Flex Shafts would leak right for me on full swings obviously because they are NS950 Regular and I usually play stiff - These irons are really good in softer conditions especially for steep swingers, the bounce keeps the head from digging very well - Feel is not exactly as soft as VG3 but pretty close, less spongy, perfectly firm for a GI iron - Size is larger than most heel to toe length and face height but soles are not super wide, nor does it have a lot of offset or a thick top line - Distance is about 1 club up from most traditional lofted clubs - workability will require an emphasized path or a softer flex shaft to exaggerate swing adjustments, if the shaft is too stiff don't expect much. I'm going to be shafting these with OT105's in Stiff Flex next. -
Just an older model GF mallet, I've had a few modded in 2015 and they are pretty light heads in the 340's in some cases lighter although when you play it they don't feel that light as if it were an answer style, excellent mallet for fast greens.
