  1. The majority of our 7D users are based off the question system and the results up till now are no different from those who had the fitting in person. TSG has sold 40+ so there is now a lot of feedback. Targeting exact launch or spin rates is difficult even in person because there is that variable of the head and how it reacts to the shaft, what i find is that 7D does more than any other shaft co. to minimize risk of a bad fit increasing your chances of better performance. Most 7D users notice that the trajectory or arc has a "committed" ball flight meaning the little ups and downs or floatys are no longer present and energy is used more efficiently. A small segment already buys 1k+ shafts so why not get one fitted to the golfer, made custom for the swing and to match the head also made at the best materials & manufacturing carbon plant possible... Before 7D the 1k + shafts were outsourced to another co or worse made using sub par elements combined to fancy marketing terms. At the high end as of now nothing beats 7D.
  2. The words Special Tuning is on the side. Be careful about Fake Ryoma's.

It's a very good driver, it's a high launcher reminds me of how the Maxima launches in the same lofts, face seems small but it is indeed forgiving and straight. Forgiving, higher launching, good feeling, spin is mid/low.
  4. He only designs now days for GTD, other than that he's an amazing golf coach full time working with professional JLPGA players.
  5. With so many great drivers out there don't waste your cash on George Spirits. Their whole goal is to make clubs on the cheap and sell them high. TSG cut their account, George Takei broke off with them for the same reason.
  6. Oh yea and hows the Royal and it's carbon face!
  7. Taylormade Japan has always been ahead of the U.S when it came to materials and pushing the envelope it's been this way since the R300Ti driver back in the day. The Gloire series is very good I still own the Gloire F and it's all around a great performer. The new G coming in November is the lightest driver in TM history and while it's draw bias thru weighting the face structure is also draw bias which is interesting as I've never seen a draw bias face before. There are 3 drivers in the Gloire Series, the F, the G, and the Royal Limited. two of them use Alpha Beta Forged faces which is a big +. TM Japan claims this is the deepest and largest speed pocket TM has ever produced.
  8. There are two types, 2015 Egg Irons ( as seen in this post ) & 2015 Super Egg Irons. The Super Eggs are non conforming like a driver with a high COR face while the ones I'm showing in this thread are conforming. These are stupid easy to hit long and straight. I'm blown away by PRGR this year. I didn't do so well with the new Egg FW but these irons with a re-shaft would without a doubt shave more than a couple strokes per round off my score.
  9. There is 1 set left heads only 3-PW.
  10. W Grind is same as it is with other brands, leading/trailing/heel/toe relief. Hokkaido Sole Grind is for steep swingers or soft conditions
  11. Every brand has a Kobayashi from Mizuno to Honma in fact they have multiple, it's the combined efforts of the team that produces the results not just 1 man. The difference I have noticed is far more releases but most of those are adjusting original models which is ok, I think they are are in a good place now. One thing that gets me is how Epon drivers are empty while other brands that produce at Endo have power slits, milled faces, chem milled crowns and a bunch of other technologies yet Epon keeps their heads very simple. Perhaps that's all thats needed.
  12. Yes we have only released one version of the 64* and it's part of this new series.
  13. - Round Shape - Reduce FP ( Increased Offset ) - Wide Sole - Thicker Top Line I'm down with that too but that would be blasphemy in the forums right?
  14. Any suggestions? MP-5 4-PW - Hokkaido Sole Grind - Grind sharper toe and straight top line +0.5mm Face Progression (less offset) - Remove "Grain flow Forged" - Dark blue (Mizuno blue) paintfill for logos - 5-ANAME103 Stamping ( A-GAME ) in white - Twilight Finish MP-5 4-PW - W-Grind - Grind sharper toe and straight top line +0.5mm Face Progression (less offset) - Remove "Grain flow Forged" - Dark blue (Mizuno blue) paintfill for logos - 5-A Stamping - Double Nickel Satin --- MP-55 5-PW - W-Grind - Grind sharper toe and straight top line +0.5mm Face Progression (less offset) - Remove "Grain flow Forged" - Dark blue (Mizuno blue) paintfill for logos - 5-A Stamping - Double Nickel Satin MP-55 5-PW - Hokkaido Sole Grind - Grind sharper toe and straight top line +0.5mm Face Progression (less offset) - Remove "Grain flow Forged" - Dark blue (Mizuno blue) paintfill for logos - Twilight Finish
  15. Mizuno Yoro Craft Department has now begun accepting orders for their super cool heavily customized Yoro Japan Crafted irons! The standard version retail release begins shipping on September 18th while the Custom Yoro Craft models take approx. 4 weeks to hand make in Japan so that will put the ship date right around Sept 31st if you were to order this week. The MP-5 Iron features the most options available from custom finish, custom grind, and several custom stamping configurations along with builds, paint fill and specs. while the MP-55 Iron has all of those custom options except for stamping configurations.
  16. Yes and No, originally we produced the 64* as a stand alone wedge after we began production on the 2016 model. The grind of the 64* we feel is one we would only put on a loft that high not on the others. It's same finish, heat treated SS400, stamping config, grooves etc... Just the grind is loft specific.
  17. The 64* is based on the new model, we just had them ready first so we launched it.
  18. Introducing the 2016 model Seven Original Wedge - Only 6 months ago TSG launched our very own in house brand to the public. The concept behind the company is to produce products made exclusively in Japan and utilizing the best crafters and factories Japan has to offer, the "Original" wedges will always be a part of the SEVEN line up evolving into a wedge that we hope golfers believe as perfect in 4 key areas: Grind/Shape, Spin, Feel, and Versatility. Comparing the new 2016 SEVEN "Original" Wedge to the previous version we have made quite a few changes. First and foremost is the shape, we tapered the neck a little making it a hybrid between what's commonly seen in Japan a higher neck and what PGA tour players prefer a more lower tapered neck with teardrop shape this provides a sense of confidence at address reducing the fear of the dreaded shank. The toe section has been rounded to appear more symetrical and in the higher lofts we have increased the amount of onset which better players love yet average golfers can also hit consistently. New Finish - previously we had used Kyoei for our brushed satin although our clubs are not forged or hand ground there we enjoyed the softer feel of their finish, this time around by adjusting the softness via heat treatment of the metal it has allowed us to go with an even more beautiful and durable finish as seen in these photos, it's a brighter NiCr brushed satin that contains more nickel and will be used across the entire line from here on out, Our wedges are Forged SS400 which is basically the same as S20C but simply measured based on tensile strength instead of carbon content, we found this to provide the absolute best sense of soft feedback during impact. The stamping configuration has been revised as well using a cool new modern font and an angled brand name and logo, the loft on the sole has also been improved to match the overall theme of the wedges. We do offer custom paint fill but the standards are translucent red or blue depending on your style. Translucent Green, Purple, Grey, Orange all look great as well. Important to note is that these wedges are made using non conforming grooves that spin like heck, we do have a limited quantity of conforming groove wedges as well actually very few but I will say the difference between the spin is noticeable and for many of our clients they love the extra zip these wedges provide. Another thing we did was increase the head weight by 2g making these pretty heavy the 52* is 300g while the 56/60/64 are 304g. This year the 2016 SEVEN wedge is offered in 52/56/60 with a limited edition 64* for those who play 52/58 we have the SEVEN double milled wedge to choose from. The 52/56/60 feature a low bounce design at 8* we found this setup to work especially well with firmer conditions but also thanks to the sole grind and leading edge relief excel in softer turf as well. As a company SEVEN at about 6 months old and it's doing pretty well, production is at limited capacity so the product is not in stock for very long, we have established a few quality distributors worldwide who specialize in high end golf gear and are collaborating with TSG members on future models and designs. All Seven products are available with custom assembly and expert installation with all after market shafts and grips. Custom Lie, Loft, and Refinishing options available.
  19. A few weeks after it's released and people have it installed and tested you should hear more.
  20. Got word and unfortunately none of the egg's can have a flatter lie from the factory :(
  21. They are not exactly new heads just variations of the original design.
  22. Oct 20th release date.

It isn't ready yet, bunch of changed need to be made. We have a couple MB's in the works. I think something new from Seven could be coming tomorrow ;)
  24. Enjoy :)
  25. Yup that's the 7, must be the angle there isn't much offset.
