Happy New Year...first time I can remember being able to pound balls on New Years Eve in the tropical paradise that is Wisconsin in Winter..hit about 200 balls and have got to say I really like the Tourstage FUT hits the ball nice and high and is pretty easy to put a little cut on it...since I have no irons right now I hit enough sand wedges to wear the antique finish right off the face..Maybe I can get out tomorrow too since it's supposed to be 45*.. Wish I had some divine inspiration for you...or for myself but all I have to share is my experience. Currently play the Hogen Apex and have for the last 3+ years, decided a couple of months back it might be time for a change. Hit a lot of irons, MP32, MP37, MP33, Z-101's, 690mb, Srixon 302's ..all the usual suspects available in the hinterlands of southern Wisconsin..and I have to say there are a lot of really nice irons out there..I really liked the 37's because they didn't get the ball as high as any of the others and let me know when and how I missed...I hit a low ball to begin, learned to play in the midwest with summer wind and before watered fairways..but when it came time to pull the trigger I couldn't do it because I liked the appearance of the Hogans too much...so I packaged them up and shipped them off to be reshafted and blueprinted instead...that's my story and I'm sticking to it..and if pressured will fall back on the old standard..DENY DENY DENY...good luck in your search..

When I look at the price of the new X Drive's I don't see it being out of line with the TM R7 TP...and it comes with, in my opinion a more usable shaft...but again is just my opinion and worth less than spit. just a thought :-D
