Are these Damascus putters maintenance putters in that do they rust and even if they don;t, do they require light oiling every now and then?

Even for one with just a Damascus insert?

I am surprised golds hasn't offered this yet or at least I have seen any Damascus from them but I don't see many things to begin with lol

Thanks haha. I got machine to run me a quite for a Damascus.... I was quite shocked at the price. Not sure I would pay that for a machine. Just me of course. How is that vmg mill?

Please feedback if you do go damascus. It looks great but wonder how it feels.

My 2 cents and opinion... the newer Epon irons really aren't anywhere close to the older gen irons for ME. Finish wise, they don;t look as good to me as in te case of the 503 but that is purely personal. The 551 really also does nothing more apart from perhaps giving you a color variation which I think is actually quite nice but performance wise, nothing to add. I have hit the 551 and 503. For me, if you like the 502, save the cash or spend it on something else. Just MY opinion of course.

I see you are playing 6.2 in your D1. If you are comfortable with this, I think the 65S will be a bit too much. Will be interested to hear how you fair distance wise with a slightly softer flex shaft in the P-Tune. It does look interesting and has got me curious.

What's the head weight, loft, sole loft, lie and face angle on this please?

Mine didn't have anything of that sort when I pulled mine. Did you buy yours used? It could have been reshafted. As others said, it could be a tip weight or maybe a shim.

Actually, its quite neat compared to what I have sen from some of the other indie putter guys.

I've been reading up and have found some other indie putter makers : Gold's Factory Lajosi Machine Byron Piretti (do they count?) Any others? And anyone actually played several of these? If yes, perhaps you can rank them based on performance, feel and finish?
