Piretti and Lajosi Putters : What's the deal?
Anymore feedback from Piretti and Lajosi owners? Still gaming them?

Sold. Thanks TSG
Good pick up buddy. Yup, I seem to have dialed her in well enough. I think the maxima is giving several problems but she still seems to be working out for me. I've nicknamed her Enigma due to the mixed results the Maxima is churning out. all about finding the right shaft for this head and your swing but yes, big call for me to let go of my D1. Such is my confidence with Enigma now.

Suggestions for replacement to the EGG 3I+
Yup. So far I think it's only the I-brid. Thanks for the point to the Srixon. I think you;re referring to the XXIO7 UT? Have you tried it? How is it forgiveness wise?

Suggestions for replacement to the EGG 3I+
Thanks Carlo. I'm looking for a 16 or 17 but prefer the former as hopefully that wil replace both my PRGR HD and EGG 3I+. Type R only comes in 18* strongest and there are unfortunately too many Romaros floating around without original head covers and I'll leave it at that ;-) That said, is the Type R more FW like or UT like? Does that make sense... LOL

Sold. Thanks TSG
Against my better judgement, I'm selling my Okamoto, my safety driver, my fairway finder, my Ryoma D1 TJ46 combo. It's in very good condition and this has served me very very well for the past year. Got this from a member here as is and I have never rehsfted it. The shaft has been spined and spined very very well I must say. Details of the club : Model - Ryoma D1 Loft - 10.5* Shaft - Crazy TJ46 Flex - 6.2 (Regular) Length - Just under 45.5 grip on. SW - D1.5 Comes with original headcover and there is a serial number on the hosel. Selling as whole club only. SOLD. Thanks for looking.

Any other suggestions for a 16* or 17* UT/hybrid?

Piretti and Lajosi Putters : What's the deal?
Thanks again for the very clear explanation akapur. Maybe that's why my old kitada felt softer than my GS mono 3. The milling although a different pattern was deeper on the kitada and I found that overly mushy and sort of numbed feedback for me.

Crazy Proto Wedge Difference
From what I gather here, your butterfly stamped pro to is Toyo ground but not the Crazy Wing proto. You;re saying you prefer the crazy wing to your butterfly? I have the crazy wing protos and just a few hits as the range and it seems to have dense like solid feel. Not as soft as the Romaro SX. Quite similar to the DWDs but less crisp. The grind is similar to the DWDs but the Crazy has more heel and toe relief and a tad more leading edge relief as well. Took them apart yesterday and had them spined. Came out totally different from what was installed which was cosmetically nicer only. Reduced the swing weights slightly and adjusted loft and lie so lets se how they go. The other 52 is new and I have not shafted that yet but if these go well, that will be bent to 51.

Piretti and Lajosi Putters : What's the deal?
Chris, I'm still learning about putters here... how does a deep mill give a soft feel and presumably a light mill a more crisp feel?

Crazy Proto Wedge Difference
Just got all my Crazy Proto wedges in early this week. Interesting that 2 of them (got the from 2 different sources) have got like a sand blasted effect on the face and the other has a smooth effect. I know some of the protos have a milled face and a non-milled face. How many different face finishes do the Protos have?

Piretti and Lajosi Putters : What's the deal?
Very valid point about the milling jay. Thanks for chiming in again.

Piretti and Lajosi Putters : What's the deal?
Cool! Thanks. The look of Damascus steel intrigues but like gf, I need to be convinced it puts out a superior roll. I'm starting to get convinced about gf for their first gen horizontal mill.

Piretti and Lajosi Putters : What's the deal?
Thanks all for chiming in. Akapur and jay, thanks in particular for the detailed explanation of damascus steel. Based on the description, I think given level of carbon is random(?), consistency of the quality may be an issue hence feel may differ from one putter to another?

Piretti and Lajosi Putters : What's the deal?
Been hearing about these Piretti putters. How are these compared to your George Spirits, GF, Yamada putters? Apart from them making heavier heads, don;t know much about them. Also, they use 11L17 carbon steel. What's the difference with SUS 303 and JUS 303 steel and what are the benefits if any? And Lajosi putters... what;s this Damascus steel? Again, how is it different and what are the benefits if any? Are both of these forged or cast? How is their quality compared to their Japanese counterparts (referring to more boutique like GS, GF etc and not brands like Mizzy, Tourstage etc) Thanks.

Does this come with the original RomaRo head cover?

Craig's Excellent Japan Adventure Part 1: Gold's Factory!
Wow! Thanks for sharing T. GF really is full on and good to know about the effort to flat face every putter and the sweet spot detection. Heartening also to learn that weight placement is done inconsideration with sweet spot centralization. My eyes are slowly opening. Craig, glad you're having a blast. The GF bag tag is very nice!

Quadra Max WBQ 95 Irons Shafts
T, Can TSG get these and the Quadra 100S in single shafts?
-
Quadra Max WBQ 95 Irons Shafts
It's like softstepping which makes it play softer which in this case I definitely want. It also in some cases enhances feel and feedback and was supposed to be popular on tour from what I have read.

Quadra Max WBQ 95 Irons Shafts
Anyone tried these? Seems like they run rather stiff. Thinking of using a 7I or 8I for my PW and 50*.
