  1. Nothing to offend Robb. Play what you like and what works for you. Different strokes for different folks and not one shaft or brand is absolutely right for all.
  2. Although I don;t play the 460HX any more, I will still vouch that its a solid performing driver and one that looks and sounds good as well.
  3. Jules, Just from that, you;ve described the Quadra FEX 65. If you want a mid 60s option and just MID kick, then consider the Quadra WBQ65.
  4. I finally had the good fortune to try some GF putters, about 5 or 6 different models I think and all anser style. All the new gen PZ mill face putters felt nice but nothing exceptional for me... BUT.... there was one with an insert (not sure what material the insert is) and with first gen horizontal PZ mill... that felt very good.. balance felt natural and good... nothing blingy.. no colored weights, no G logos... but the roll felt and looked great... The horizontal mill on the insert is so much deeper than the milling on my GS Mono... I should have bought it... only thing holding me back is the plastic wrap was still on it and there was a crease at the face (just how it heat shrunk) so it was hard to see real roll.... but it still seemed to roll great and felt good... understandably could not remove the wrapping.... think I should have bought it... let's see what golf fate has the next time I visit... if its there its mine, if not... ah well... T, Sent you an email on something related.
  5. Ha! Trust you to always give perspective! LOL.
  6. Crazy price drop. Want to move these. $575 shipped and paypaled for SDJ irons and wedge heads. common guys!
  7. Fully agree.
  8. That is what I had to deduce you meant as you did not originally mention the reason for checking under the grip. This would be a nothing-to-lose course of action but I am just highlighting that Crazy may not be required to honor the warranty as Robb is not the original buyer, and we and Crazy do not know how the shaft was pulled apart from hearsay and also how it was shipped apart from hearsay. The shaft MAY also be out of the warranty period... BUT.... there is nothing to lose in trying this. You may have got a good outcome and we are happy to hear that. You may have bought the shaft new as a first owner and the shaft claim may have been within the warranty period. Circumstances likely are very different to Robb's and it may not be fair to expect a manufacturer to honor its warranty blindly. If they do, and as I suggested already, it will be out of good will, not obligation.
  9. What will that achieve? To see if it has the crazy sticker with the serial number? I believe crazy has terms and conditions that honor warranty for the original buyer only so even if it has the crazy sticker, crazy is not obligated to honour it and this shaft has been halfway around the world and then some. If crazy does anything, it'll be out if goodwill and hence sticker or not is immaterial. That said it will help to veritfy authenticity if crazy acts on goodwill.
  10. Drop Tario an email
  11. Hi robb, real sorry To hear about this! From the history of the shaft described by C. It appears this has been pulled at least twice and you dont know how it was pulled in terms of heat condition and whether it was a straight pull in all instances. That said, the fracturing you have experienced is very strange and which C and akapur have provided possible explanations for. But what has happened has happened and this IS your best combo. Although you mention you never buy new, as this combo is proven for you, I would suggest you get a new crazy in the same model and flex and build it to the same length and SW weight. It costs more than a used shaft of course BUT this IS your monster combo which works. Also if anything else happens, as it is new and you will have the warranty card, if anything happens, C or T (if bought from TSG) I am sure will assist with warranty service. Getting another brand and model could work and even be better. Never know till you try but that can be even more expensive. with crazy, you know which crazy works and there is no more guess work and no experimentation cost. Just a thought and again sorry you are going through this. I know it ain't fun.
  12. Thanks duff. I've tried the baffler in the past and just never say well with my eye go some reason. I have the same concern with the ibrid too. That boxy Adams look... But if it will work... Somehow, the scooped out look of the eggs look alright to me.. Just like the Cleveland halos.. Weird eh.
  13. EGG 3I+ is 19*. I'm looking for something that can replace this and the EGG HD which is 14.5*. Not concerned about getting on in 2 for Par 5s as that is always a big ask of me and a low probability shot for me. I'm looking for possibly 3W distance off the tee if possible and something as easy to launch off the deck as the EGG I+. In short DISTANCE AND FORGIVENESS. How will the Romaro i-Brid i2 17* or the latest Type R 18* UT serve these purposes? Feel wise, I'm sure these will feel better than the EGG I+. Any other possibilities? Thanks.
  14. PM replied.
  15. Open to reasonable offers.
  16. Just get a right sized allen key and determine your existing weights and move them around first if you think it needs adjusting.
  17. Withdrawn. Decided to keep these.
  18. Thanks but that will run so much more stiff then my tipped Reg. Will also only want to trade as Crazy Tita is really just a nostalgia driver so won;t want to splash anymore moolah on this.
  19. I'm glad it worked out Dash. THe 435 TJ46 combo is magic. Here's something else for you to think about... you play play around with the weights to fine tune the performance even more :-) Have fun and go low!
  20. wmclarenf1 replied to tae's post in a topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Hi, I think its Japan only for now. Ex japan, I think only 60/80/100 and 120 are offered. IN japan, 50/60/70/80/90/100/120 offered.
  21. The RAW face with all else plated is nice. I hope the copper underlay does not make it EPon like soft. How much do these run per head and what are the loft bounce options please. Any straight shots of the hosel from the back so we can assess offset? What's the offset story on these?

Anyone has tried the MCI 60S and 70S in irons? How do they stack up against each other, dispersion, distance and feel wise?
