If I had to carry one driver only (I say this cause for a couple of rounds, I dropped the 3W and carried 2 :-) ) and I was playing in a comp, playing a tough course where straight is premium, or just not playing that well, without doubt, its my Ryoma Okamoto! It's shorter than teh 435 but not like 20 meters. Perhaps 10 meters and I can live with that. Just one club more for the second shot. No biggy and not an issue for Par 5s.

Does anyone else think Linsey bears a rather uncanny resemblance to his ex at least at first glance? Hope his lawyers did better this time than they did the first time round :-)

Th eRoddio Pentacross is a great shaft if it suits you. DI is nice as well but I hold the TourADs which I used to play almost exclusively, a rung below the Crazy, Quadra and Roddio. Just me though.

A great suggestion and I still second the 435 big time. Jm3, if you don't already know, you will soon know that it's not all about the head. You need to spend time and money to find the shaft that suits you best as well.

I think the reality is that no driver is going to present any SIGNIFICANT benefit over another in terms of distance and forgiveness on its own merit. Many here I think will buy whatever is new because they fancy how it looks or because buying new equipment is part of the hobby and game for them. If one driver suits you better and you hit it longer its probably because it suits your eye and swing better, and you managed to have it with a shaft that suits your swing. This probably is not going to change unless there is a change in cor regulation and even then, I would not expect 50 meters more. No magic driver out there. Just one that suits your swing better or you just like to fiddle with clubs. Try the syard if anything just for the fun of it and you can. If it gives you better drives great but it ain't gonna be due to any secret design trait unique to syard. I tried it and it gave me nothing more over my current drivers. It seems to have for others and that is good for them.

Hi, Your 9I rolls 15 feet? Is that good for a 9I? Where maybe drop and stop action is preferred? Did you top it?

The 725 looks nice. Thin sole with a thinnish topline and not much offset for a 4I.

Counter sunk or collar ferrule is not needed. Not sure what the outer diameter is but n concern there as it can be easily turned down to size.

It did with the fex55 but with the ly01 black, it is actually slightly lower than my 435 tj46 setup. But yes, the head is something else. Just got way too many drivers than I want.

Spoke to my fitter who help a fellow TSGer with his Roddio I8 SR install. Apparently it does play on the stiff side and requires quite a bit of running in. I did hit the Quadra 752i in an EPon 50* head and it felt quite good so I may opt for the Quadra if I decide to swap out my NS PROs 750.

If the boron doesn't work, don't give up on her. Try the shaft that you have found to suit you best in her for final judgement.

Nah! Black widow looks to be with me for a long time to come. She's like the wild side and okamoto well... The straight and beaten path. I'm trying to find the combination of the 2, a split personality driver if you will, one with the length of the 435 or 460HX and the predictability or the D1! Don't know if she exists but knowing me, it's the thill of the chase and hunt that maybe I look forward to more ....

And my swing is not consistent enough for these adjustable things. I'd be adjusting the dang thing in every hole lol

Ryoma d1 is my confidence driver so I can't give that up. As for the incoming... There is always one incoming lol

The clear off continues and now we are down to 4 drivers which is still at least one more than wanted. So with a heavy heart, I am putting up Fujin, my God of Wind RomaRo 460hx Black 10* head for sale. Comes with original RomaRo head cover. There is a serial number on the hosel and face is square to my eye. Head is in excellent condition. Sole has very very little wear. This is a carry bomber and also has a fair bit of roll. On a couple of occasions, I actually hit my longest ever drives. Great distance driver! Sold. Thanks for looking.
