  1. The playability of this shaft seems more on MID kick shaft. So hit the ball up w/ no problem. This shaft is Butt stiff, slightly counter balance ( not as much as TW 74 or Speeder 764, especially HM4 ), Beefy butt area (it gives a high CPM # but doesn't play as stiff as the # says ). It's ussually comes in 46.5" raw. Butt diameter is around 620" ( maybe even 630' ) or so. Definitely not a boardy feel shaft. I would have to say, It's a good for strong medium to smooth tempo players who need to lift the ball up higher. I've try this shaft on driver and 3 wood, For me It perform better in 3 wood due the nature of the shaft spec. Similar shaft perfomance and spec to this shaft is speeder 764 w/ slightly lighter total weight and handle up to a harder swinger and IMO a better shaft if you looking to put it on a driver head. However I need to undertsand the whole issue first on your problem to be able to say 771 or 764 better. You can call me or contact me for more info on the availability on this shaft and on other shafts option you should get to match it w/ your swing and head. Hope I gave you enough insight here! :smile1: Cheers! 3. I have one 8.5*, 0.5* - 1* open and at 201 grams in a 9 condition ( very clean ), but I 'm not looking for trade. If you are interested, I'll sell it for $200 shipped. THX! Joe  [email protected]
  4. I would have to say 660 hit slightly lower ball flight but it gives the same flat flight. Due to counter balance shaft on the 764, It'll give you a better sturdy feel at impact. Just like when you counter balance a baseball bat. 764 feel a bit stiffer through out the swing but yet kick the ball pretty well due to beefier butt area, It makes this shaft feel tighter at impact... 660 is just smooth all the way. I would have to say 660 is for a smooth swinger/tempo, 764 is for a harder swinger that need to get the ball up without balooning it. Cheers! Joe
  5. IMO this is one of the best Fuji shaft, So much feel and kick to it. I almost can say a better version of 771. It's butt stiff and butt weight, so it will give you a higher CPM. So be carefull in reading the cpm and tipping, it might give you a shock. Plus the shaft is slightly counter balance ( need more weight on the head to get the sw ). Depending on what you need to put in it, i would tipped 1/4" less at least to play it true. Good luck! Joe  Joe, Specs on the 764? Any comparison to the 660TR? Thanks Sorry about the Threadjack I found the specs...its not heavy enough :wah: ....I'm in search of a 80+ gram version of the 660TR :) Then I would suggest you to go w/ the speeder 869 or Pro 80 or a TW84. Joe

  8. You guys are getting a lot better!!!  You are making my job easier now  Let me add a bit here, You'll also create a bit of offset. The more experience the guy who bend it , the more he can minimize that offset. Joe

Sounds like a fun project for the weekend.LOL! :smile1: Joe, I may go with the black tour yarn - a four strand angura - twisted extra tight - made out of the highest strength cotton. :-D  MAke sure spined and flo'ed the yarn before you force it in and KY Jelly will make the job easier. :surprize:
  10. Where you at Joe? someday I want to get custom fitted too, and if it with you that would be awesome... My other question is when you got custom fitted does it apply to any brand of clubs or just the one that you hitting it with during the session. I'm just about 10 minutes from the Airport toward The beautifull city of San Francisco. :smile1: To answer your question, I would have to say depending on the set up you want to end up with. It might be slightly different if it different set up from a different heads and shafts. Let me know! Joe

  12. It should out soon. Some store might even have them already. I'm not really sure on this. The rep can't tell me anything.you can read more on this ball at www.maxfli.com BTW, MASTER? :-D Hmm! I don't know about that. I would think that I'm way far from that. :smile1: Cheers! Joe
  13. It's funny that Golfsmith, golfwroks, MITCHELL, and other fine supplier sell a couple size type ram rod for this application and i've been doing it for years and never have any problem w/ it , even to a 50's grams shaft.http://golfworks.com/item_disp.asp?pn=RR5 http://golfworks.com/item_disp.asp?pn=TW65 I don't see how technically people can damage the shaft doing this application, unless they use a ram rod that are bigger diameter that the inner diameter of the shaft and pounding it w/ feel not muscle. IMO Knowing or understanding how to handle our own tools and using a common sense to calculate whether it will work or not is the key. Hmm! Maybe you can share your experiences how the damage happend, So it could be a good lesson for a newbies here. Cheers! Joe
  14. The easiest is using pliable lead epoxy that you can drop it from the butt end and ram it w/ a rod and plug it w/ cork. The nicest way doing it is pull the shaft out and put that lead weight and reglue. Good luck! Joe
  15. How much? Joe
  16. I might have a pull out of SKW X flex in 1-2 weeks in Z com Graphic. And I have 1 new in stock PRO 80 X flex in the new Z COM graphics for $220 shipped and paypal. ( let me know if you want me to installed it ). Let me know! Joe [email protected]
  17. Come over here and I'll make you hit your club w/ your own ball and tweak your club slowly till we got it right. Well, That is basically what has to be done hit them on a lie board and find the right swing and solid hit. I even occationally check customers swing and give them a little tips if i see something way out of line. :smile1: Joe
  18. At 5'6" does not means you have to play shorter club and doesn't have to be flater lie. The reason is that your body parts proportion is consider at normal to each other, that is why you are probably at standard lie w/ standard lenght club. Plus swing style can be different also at impact possition, even w/ the same body spec.Basically there are no way to tell somebody that they need flat or upright lie from just only their body postures. It's got to be include swinging the club w/ a real ball. That is why we call it Dynamic fitting system. I've seen someone at 5'5" at 4* upright and i've seen some one at 6'0" at 4* flat. Cheers! Joe
  19. IMHGO The main factors of playing wrong lenght club are making you in an awkward posture at address, thus it will effect on your timing, tempo, and lie angle of the club.If you keep on forcing it, you will definitely developed a bad habbit which lead you to become an unconsistent swinger. Cheers! Joe
  20. Flighted Rifle are suppose to be progressive kick point and sturdier/stiffer tip, especially on the shorter iron.I'm not sure why you hit w/ less distance, I can't say anything on that if i didn't see you hit and play. Joe

The best way? Till all the corner of the stamping and groves?I would have to say "reverse electro chrome cyanide acid bath". It will only attack the old chrome and hardly make the metal pitted. It'll only take 30 - 45 minutes, instead of days. Most plating company have this bath tank and it shouldn't be to expensive at all. Good luck! Joe
  22. T and S series both are in 400cc. Joe  Got to see both earlier yesterday and even though both are 400cc but they are proportionally sized differently. I have few pics and will post it at a later date if someone here requests it. I hit the 905T and it's very likely that it might make into my bag when I can get it with my specs. um... what club ISN'T likely to make it into your bag? ;-) Do you have to ask? BR61 = HO = Junkies = Dumpster  Joe
  23. I might have one laying somewhere in my shop. I will let you know when i found it.It's this one here: http://www.golfworks.com/item_disp.asp?pn=GRAX You need to get the Graphite Shaft Adaptor . The pad are new, i've just replace them. Nothing wrong w/ it. It's still in a very good condition. It's just my back up and in my traveling tool box. I'll take $80 Shipped and paypal to lower 48 states. THX! Joe
  24. With your swing speed and handicap, the biggest issue are feel, Ball flight and stiffness. These are gonna give you a better consistency on your game.To fit you during your best round is not a big deal but to fit you to a club that during your bad rounds , the club still keep you in play...That is the key of fitting. I can't recommend you anything until I understand your swing and though on the course. Any shaft can do you wonder if you were fitted properly. Joe Kwok  [email protected]
