From Titleist: "503i driving irons were made for our pros in one of our first forays into hybrid irons. We wanted to make a club that went lower and spun less than a similarly lofted fairway and launched higher and spun more than the equivalent iron. They did not ever make it to production as they were not as easy to hit as we would have liked. We did make them in lofts of 19° and 22°. The production model that came out in 2005 was the 503H and it was made in 19° and 22° lofts."

Is this JDM gear?...if not, needs to move to USD gear. Also, do you have the link for where one sold for $1350? I've seen a few on WRX and they all seem to go from $300-500.

Precisely why I LOVE this forum...feels more like trading gear amongst friends I trust vs some of the other crap sites where it's literally a crapshoot as to who you're dealing with or what you'll receive in the mail or if you ever receive anything at all.
  7. Just received my 54 from J and it was precisely as advertised and arrived on a very timely basis. Love my new putter! Great seller here gents.

Good answer. I guess I've been fortunate in that I don't buy many used shafts, but used shafts are quite common on BST. Perhaps new unwritten rule should be that seller divulges number of times shaft has been pulled, although not always easy to determine.

Never heard of shafts shattering prior to reading this thread. I'd be a bit peeved if I spent a ton on a Crazy shaft only to swing and find that the shaft had cracked or shattered. I have had club heads come right off the shaft when I used persimmon woods 100yrs ago, but never a shaft gone bad.
  10. Hey J: ever get a custom fitting from the folks at Bettinardi?
  11. It's about time! That blade looks pretty decent but too busy on the back. I'd hit it!
  12. Yup, roundup, but better question is why anyone would want to kills Spanish moss growing between pavers? I've been trying to get that look for the last 10 years at my place!
  13. I'm a bit embarrassed after having knocked the feel of Bettis just a couple days ago to now owning 54! New definition of a ho?? Just couldn't resist this one.
  14. lots of window shopping and PM's from all over the free world, but no takers! Off to ebay
  15. Yup...agree w Carlo. It's all about feel and most importantly confidence. Don't ever let anyone mess with your particular putting stroke. It's also all about what feels "right" for you in terms of confidence standing over the ball. Individual taste in terms of mallet vs blade vs something very unique to you. Whatever feels right
  16. PM sent on BB-54...also, was this originally a belly putter and now cutdown to standard?
  17. Ha! Carlo man...you sound like you're talking about a chick!
  18. great seller...these should last about 24 hrs at most
  19. Nice look. My problem with Bettis is that they look amazing, but never liked the feel of the ball off the face and the acoustics at impact...same for me with Scotty's....nice looking, but never liked how the ball interacted with the clubface and doubly so with all the hype around em....like a fine work of art that looks better in a showroom. Interesting in your views on how this putter feels.
  20. 9.5* tour head with a Fubuki Alpha S flex shaft. I will post to Australia but would need to find out actual shipping costs. Let me know if interested.
  21. Plenty of PM's and window shopping, but still nada. Willing to do for $225. I believe this is now officially THE cheapest launch lab on the Internet!
