  1. Yikes!...just realized I've posted it in JDM. Can mods please move to USD? Thanks
  2. Thanks Dale...I've priced it stupid cheap just to move it along and because I will still have 2 others. Thought it would be a great opportunity for someone who's always been wondering what the buzz on the LL was to actually try it on the cheap. Zero risk here...buy it and love it, or sell it 2 weeks later for a profit on WRX...I kid, I kid:)
  3. Up for consideration, the infamous Adams Launch Lab that got amazing reviews both here and on WRX forums as being one of the longest and easiest to hit drivers EVER!! For those of you who know me know that I'm a big fanboy of this club and currently own 3 of them. While I love my JDM gear, this is the only US driver I am truly in love with :tsg_smiley_heart:/>/> . This one is in matte black, 9.5* with a Fubuki Alpha S flex shaft. Grip is original Adams and is in great shape. Also comes with a very cool headcover that's done up like a boxing glove. Price is wicked cheap at $250....NOW $225 plus shipping. The ONLY reason for the club being so dang cheap is that the matte black on the crown seems to have developed small chips marks, which I have covered up with a Sharpie pen...doesn't affect play becase both the face and the heel of the club are of a different finish and much more durable finish. Actually, face of the club and sole I would rate a 9/10. Great opportunity to try one of the best drivers out there on the cheap!
  4. Someone steal these now! I'd also be all over this had I not picked up Stews tourstages.
  5. Hk=hong kong
  6. I went with the 9* shafted with quadra fire express proto SR.
  7. Wow! May be a new record! Can you share what price it sold for?
  8. A whole 6 months?! That's like 20 years in a ho's life!
  9. This^^^ I've played both and barely notice the difference. For me there's more FEEL with the regulars, but that's just me.
  10. Well said...now can you post some pics of your photographer friend;)
  11. Lousy pics....just kidding. What camera do you use? My photo skills basically suck
  12. Great seller here and a very decent price
  13. Funny thing is that my ball striking with my irons is actually superb...now if only my short game were as good! I have so much confidence especially with my short irons and now doubly so with the Personals, although just one round. Feel as if I cannot miss a green from 135 and under. All that being said, I will need to get on a Trakman to see what each of my iron distances including wedges truly are. If you want to dramatically improve your iron play, get on a Trakman and then put a piece of tape (I believe Stew uses blue nailpolish:) to indicate average yards with each club. Classic case of golfers who've hit one great PW thinking that all their PW shots are going to be 135 yards, when most are average distances of 125...a much needed dose of reality.
  14. Well said on the lofts on the 502's and "jumper" face of the 502 w the gel inserts.
  15. Hmmm...interesting thought, especially with a set of i110's being available at a relatively cheap price. Just hate the idea of giving up the Monacos which feel so danged balanced when I swing.
  16. Well, my first time out yesterday with my Personals and they are definitely something special. The crazy thing about them is how danged straight they are...almost didn't matter what kind of swing I put on em, they still went dead straight. Chunked one and it was straight, hit one off the toe, straight, hit one off the heel, straight. It was almost too funny, but started filling me with a boatload of confidence just knowing that as long as my alignment was good, the shot would go where I intended it to go. The only issue I have is that I went from my aerotech regular i95's to Monacos, so a much heavier shaft than I'm used to, which I'm sure is part of the tighter dispersion, but trade off is a bit less distance. I'm not one for obsessing about "my PW now only goes 120-125 instead of 130+", just a bit shorter than anything else I play, probably due to the heavier shaft. Won 10 out of 18 skins yesterday in my foursome with irons I've never played with before and won a bunch of side bets as well. Felt great! I am considering changing out the Monacos to the aerotechs, but don't want to screw up a good thing. Most excited I've been about a set of irons since my 502's. Takes some getting used to in going from partial game improvement irons to blades, but so far, so good.
  17. 502's are superb...get em used if cost is an issue.
  18. Yes, but will any of them produce a legal driver that will have me hitting it 300 yards??
  19. NICE! My Personals are ridiculously straight. Only hit them on the range thusfar and they are a tad shorter than my 502's, but they are deadly accurate...laser like accuracy. We have one of those small bouncy target nets about 150 yards out on the range and I actually feel like I can drop balls on that tiny net about half the time and the other half just a few feet away...very few crap shots. Shafted with Monacos but considering reshafting with Aerotechs just to lighten up the shaft a bit.
  20. Ok, I see it...HUGE brown spots. May I suggest you put it immediately on BST and suggest you put it up for half of what you paid for it. Just please PM me 2 mins before doing so;)
  21. Safety reasons? Not sure what that means
  22. If you're new to golf, the last thing I would worry about are things like face-millings, tungsten weight, sound slots, PZ milled, etc in a putter.
  23. Would be a good candidate for our first "play it forward" club.
